Thus Says The Lord-Who God Says He Is, His Commandments and Promises

"1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray Without Ceasing - Friday Morning Prayer"

A very good morning, a very good morning to you, everybody. I pray that you had a wonderful, restful night, and you are ready for a Friday and the incoming weekend. And I'm glad that we are gathered to seek the Lord, to pray with one another, to fellowship with one another, to commune with the Holy Spirit, because we need Him.

We need him. Today's Friday, as you know, we pray for one another. There are some things to pray for, and I'm sure he has some things to pray for. So, wherever you are, you know, as I pray, you pray too, and we pray for one another. Let us go to the Lord in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we thank you this morning for your goodness and your mercy towards us. Thank you Lord for all that you are doing and what you are still going to do. We thank you for salvation.

We thank you for your name, which is a strong tower. We the righteous can run into it and find safety. We thank you for your eyes that are on the sparrow, watching over this whole entire earth, judging the hearts of mankind.

So, we rest in that, that your ways are not our ways and that you do all things right. You don't make mistakes, you are not confused, you are not trying to figure it out. You have all your faculties in order and hence you are our God, sovereign authority, Ancient of Days.

That's who you are. So, Father, today as we come to you in prayer, our faith and hope and belief is that you answer our prayers and you come to our aid. So, we bless you for all that you are doing and what you're still going to do in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen and Amen.

Brothers and sisters, if you're not aware, we are living in perilous times. And perilous times demands, always demands, that the body of Christ rises. If my people who are called by my name, humble themselves, turn from their wicked ways and seek my face, only then will I hear from heaven and heal their land.

The tragic shooting that happened this week of this young man who was on his speaking toll based on his beliefs and what he thinks, is something that shows you the heinous emotions and feelings that are governing this country.

There's so many things that are happening around us that are beyond comprehension, that if the Lord was to show it all of it to us, we'll surely be saying, can you come tomorrow? But having said all that, we should never ever forget as believers that we are the anchor.

That we know where the Lord is, we know what he is doing. We are aware of his power and his authority. That even those laws that think they are powerful, we know that they are not. So, I want us to stand in confidence and in belief, knowing that it's us, it's us.

We should not be equally fearful or challenged with the things that's happening around us. We should actually be encouraged. Because you know that it's our responsibility to bring hope. It's our responsibility to bring salvation.

It's our responsibility to bring the good news of this gospel. And it's our responsibility to stand and show forth strength and the character of this God that we serve. So, everybody, stand your guard, stand your post, and be strong in the power of the mighty.

And know that this God who has delivered so many people, nations, over the centuries, He is still God, He is sitting on the throne, And He sees it all. And He has His hand and pulse on the depth of this earth.

And He knows our coming in, He knows our going out. He knows exactly where you are. He has no problem whatsoever locating you. He knows where to find you and He knows how to extract you.

He knows how to move you from one place to the next. He has His angels on assignment concerning you. His spirit is inside of you, counseling, guiding, protecting. So, take heed of that word and that spirit, for we know that surely, He is God and He's sitting on the throne, Amen.

So let us go to the Lord in prayer. Heavenly Father, we thank you this morning for your goodness and your mercy towards us. We thank you Lord for all that you are doing and that you have done.

Father, as we look around us, we see the depravity of mankind. We see the challenges that exist in the hearts of man. But yet we are encouraged, knowing that salvation belongs to us and that we have full power and authority to execute that which you have given us as a mandate to execute spiritually.

So firstly, Lord, we come before you for this nation. We thank you for the leaders that you have in place. No matter how faulty it looks like, no matter how challenged they look like, we know that you are sovereign.

You allow things to happen and your eye is on the sparrow. There is nothing hidden from you. Secret meetings that are held in the hallways, you are aware of them. The corruption and everything else that is taking place, you know it all.

And Father, we know that you are allowing this to happen because your ways are not our ways. How you do things is not how we will do things. So, it's comforting to know that your hand is on the trigger.

That you are able, at any given moment, to rectify, to fix, to do away with anything that needs to be done away with. So, as we await patiently, I pray that fear will not be part of our call. that we will not be afraid of anything, that we will not despair, but we will rather be strengthened by the fact that you are sovereign and we are in your hands.

So, we lift up every leader in this country, from church leaders to political leaders, company leaders, whoever is in the position leader, we lift them up, Lord. I pray, Lord, that amongst these raise godly men and women that care about spiritual things.

I pray, Lord, let there be a revival in our hearts to understand that the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof it. And there is nothing that we can do on this earth that your eyes are not on.

Remind those who might have forgotten that you are sovereign, that you have full authority, and you will not give your glory to another. I pray for people of this nation. We know that a lot of hate has been brewing for the past decade, that there is so much strife, anger, you name it, it's all in this country right now.

And we are praying, Lord, that may you soften the hearts of those who have been dragged around in emotional tantrums because of politics or different agendas or different ideologies.

Father, I pray for those who are holding the church to ransom, using it as a weapon to push their own agendas or ideology. I pray, Lord, that may they be removed on holding the church to ransom.

We savor every attachment the church has been put into by politics, by different groups, for whatever reason. We thank you, Lord, that you are the originator and the person who started the church.

It belongs to you and Jesus sitting as the head of the church. Now we ask Jesus to exonerate this body from the challenges of this world and the agendas of this world. I pray for church leaders all across this nation that may they return back to spiritual things.

May they be governed by the Holy Spirit in everything they do. May they be quick to hear and to do the word. Help a church that is going through a difficult period right now. So many people, Lord, are out there saying whatever that comes out of their mouths and hearts.

No matter how deceitful it is, I pray that every word that has been spoken that is not from you, will not stick to anything, that every money that has been raised through the church will amount, that has been raised through the church, and it's for whatever reason it's not for the church, I pray Lord that that will not amount to anything.

The scripture says, give them pockets with holes and dry breasts. And I pray Lord, whatever that is conceived, outside of your spirit and it's supposed to be for the church that may it die on its tracks because we know lives are on the line.

So, I pray for every deacon, every elder across this nation. May they have a clear understanding of their role in the church according to your scriptures. Bless the church. Bless worship leaders all across this nation who will be bringing the heavenly sound to your people.

I pray, Lord, for a connection with the Holy Spirit that will heal and transform people all across churches this coming Sunday. Remove every agenda that is not of you in the name of Jesus. We lift up families.

We thank you for our children, nieces, nephews. We pray Lord that may they be an extension of who we are in You. That what we are experiencing spiritually, may it flow from our beard all the way to the tassels of our garments until it reaches our children, our nephews, our nieces, our extended families.

Pray for an anointing that heals the depravity of the human heart and condition. I know some of us are dealing with family challenges, but I pray for peace that surpasses human understanding.

And I know in us you've chosen a group of people who stand in the gap as anchors, as intercessors. I pray for strength, I pray for courage, I pray for determination as we seek to continue to do that which is right.

So, help us in our endeavor to be holy, to bring purity and holiness to our families, to our children, to our mothers, to our aunts, to our uncles, to our nieces and nephews. Bless the works of our hands in the name of Jesus.

Now Father, we lift up Tammy. She's dealing with a financial situation where she's been scammed. I pray, Lord, that whatever that has been stolen, will be returned in the name of Jesus.

I pray for peace of mind in Tammy, that may she seek that which is invisible, which is your spirit, to govern her in all her ways and bring a level of peace that surpasses human understanding and knowing in her soul that all is well because God is sitting on the throne.

Give her complete access to your kingdom, to know your hands, to know your heart, to know your mind, to know your eyes, to know your spirit. Thank you, Lord, for angels around Tammy, that she deals with so many different issues that are getting to her.

I pray, Lord, that may you bring peace and may you bring order where there is chaos. Pray for her mind, that God, you are bringing a level of peace in her mind. May faith arise of knowing that all is well in the name of Jesus.

Lord, we thank you for Calvin and Veronica for taking them to New York and back to North Carolina. Thank you Lord for what they are doing and what they are accomplishing and the growth that is happening inside of them, the spiritual calling that you've bestowed on them.

We all see it and we pray Lord for wisdom to execute that which you are delivering to them in their spirit. I pray Lord that as you continue to open doors for ministry, open doors for teaching and understanding and growth.

I pray that angels on assignment protect them from harm and danger, seen or unseen. I pray, Lord, that in this transitional season that You are revealing all things true and all things well. That every step they take is guided by your Spirit.

They will not want for anything. They will not need anything because you shall supply all their needs according to your riches in glory. Thank you for this wonderful couple you have placed in our midst.

Now we bless them in everything they are doing, opportunities for business for Veronica and we pray Lord that continued employment for Calvin even in this transition may he find favor with his company and his bosses even as he has transitioned from New York to North Carolina, that God, he will retain that which you have promised him over the years.

And I pray, Lord, that their lives are secure, that their faith is strong, that you are bringing them to a place of victory. And we ask, Lord, for an anointing to rest upon them as they continue to do what you have called them to do.

Bless them with wisdom and understanding and knowledge and the study of Scripture. Let it be at the core of who they are as you have called them to a generation that is lost and seeking faith and hope.

Bless their families, bless children, bless sisters, aunts and uncles. Bless Mom in North Carolina, continued healing. And I pray, Lord, that she will experience full salvation before she departs on this earth.

We join our faith with this, that you are working out all things new and doing all things right by them in the name of Jesus. Thank you for Nadia and the kids as they continue to run this race.

And I pray, Lord, that whatever the devil has stolen, may it be returned 10, 20, 30-fold in the name of Jesus. I pray for Nadia's mom as she is declining in health. I pray, Lord, for healing power of the soul, the mind and the body.

I pray for opportunity for great salvation and the humbling of the spirit and the knowing that surely He is Lord and He is sitting on the throne.

May you give Nadia courage, boldness, and determination as she now takes this role as the anchor of the family to lead, to guide, to pray, to strengthen, to inspire others as they continue to walk their journey.

I pray, Lord, that may the relationship between Nadia and mom be as clear as possible in the name of Jesus. Bless the kids as they go to school and go to work. We pray for favor and opportunities, for gifts and talents to continue to manifest and to be utilized in the name of Jesus.

Bless this remarkable family with healing, prosperity, strength, wisdom, knowledge, and determination to continue to run this race with perseverance. Bless Nadia's heart and soul. Continue to heal it from grief.

And I pray, Lord, that as she continues to be sustained by the Spirit, may you bring her ideas that will transform and revolutionize her life in the name of Jesus. And I pray above all those for kids.

May they be in good health, even as their souls prosper in the name of Jesus. Thank you for Karinza, Alfred, Darryl and Ebony. Bless this family. Bless them in everything they do. As Darryl continues to go to physical therapy school, and Ebony in medical school.

I pray Lord for opportunities to serve you, to do right, to do well. I pray Lord that everything they touch with their hands may it be built up as we continue to strengthen this family. Continued healing for Alfred in the name of Jesus.

And we are grateful for the seniors amongst us, that you have given us as anchors to encourage us, to inspire us in the things that we have called us to do. As we look to you, and as we go into this weekend, guide us, protect us, lead us away from danger.

Help us to grow in the knowledge of who You are. And we pray, Lord, that in our efforts, may Your Spirit be always present, because we know without You, we are nothing. So help us to be the light in the dark, the sword in a dying world, to bring hope and blessed assurance to those who are in desperately need of salvation.

Help us and turn our eyes away from worthless things and continue to direct us in the part of your command. As we go in the day, blessings to every single one of us and we ask you now, Lord, that may your kingdom come and may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread and lead us not into temptation, but continue to deliver us from the evil one, for thy name is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever, Amen.

Brothers and sisters, go in peace, go in love, go in strength, go in wisdom, grow in understanding, and may the Lord bless you may the Lord bless the works of your hands.
