Thus Says The Lord-Who God Says He Is, His Commandments and Promises

"1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray Without Ceasing - Friday Morning Prayer"

Good morning everybody. I think we're having technical difficulties, but nonetheless we are here. Let us pray. Beautiful Lord, wonderful Savior, I know for sure that all of our days are held in Your hands, crafted into Your perfect plan.

You have gently called every single one of us. by the guiding of the Holy Spirit. So we ask You, Lord, that You teach us, dear Lord, to devote all of our lives to You. Father, may our prayer rises incense before You, lifting our hands as a sign of sacrifice.

Oh Lord Jesus, turn Your eyes upon us, for I know there is mercy in Your sight. Your statutes are our heritage. Our eyes and our hearts are set on keeping Your decrees.

Even though sometimes we stray away here and there, but You have kept Your love upon us and we shall keep our knees on the floor as we reach out to You. to all of us Lord I can see limitations.

But Your commands, Your words, Your scriptures, Your spirit is boundless and You have no limitations so Your word is our joy and is our meditation from the rising of the sun from the setting of the sun You have always always kept Your love and faithfulness on our lives.

Your mercy is renewed every single morning. We know that the road is narrow but the burden is very light because You come and gladly take it off our shoulders and lead us into triumphant procession.

So Father we shall gladly kneel down and leave our pride on the side for we know You are constantly looking at the humble every morning we shall praise You every evening we shall walk in Your ways and we'll follow You all of our days as You lead and guide us in all things true and in all things right.

So Father as we look to You this morning we just want to be thankful for the lives that we have the families that we are in the friends that we have, colleagues that we have, the jobs that we have the gifts and talents that we possess Father.

We want to thank You for the homes that we are in the cars that we drive the protection that You render to us as we go about our businesses in this world. I thank You sovereign God for this community of believers that You have gathered to Yourselves.

As You continue to give us a portion of Your kingdom to execute and exercise our gifts and talents as we edify one another so Father today as a pastor I bless these Your people I bless the gifts and talents they possess.

And I pray Lord that You enlarge their gifts and their talents as they continue to serve one another and serve others as they meet them along the journey. I bless their homes from distractions, be it physical, spiritual, or emotional.

I pray Lord that victory is sure and guaranteed for every family that is represented here. We come against the spirit of death whether it is the death of gifts and talents or the physical death of human beings.

I pray Lord that we will all live to accomplish what You have said for us to accomplish in this lifetime in the name of Jesus. I pray Lord that every gift that is laying dormant that God You may resuscitate it so that it can be utilized for the benefit of this kingdom.

Father, I pray for the preservation of our bodies. We know, Lord, that we come in contact or eat food that sometimes can derail our metabolism or our physical bodies. I'm praying, Lord, that You give us wisdom to eat right.

You give us wisdom, Lord, to put inside of our bodies the things that edifies it so that we can live healthy long lives so that we can serve You without dealing with physical issues.

I pray for wisdom as we even shop for groceries that God help us in our efforts to eat right and to do that which is right. Even simple things like drinking water, give us the wisdom, the fortitude to do what is right.

Father, I'm praying, Lord, for families that are connected to us, that God, may You strengthen them in this hour. May You bless their homes, their children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, that God Almighty, You do incredibly well through us.

We bless relationships that they can be edified and strengthened. We bless mothers and fathers, those who are taking care of loved ones. We bless them with strength, wisdom, character, boldness, determination.

And Father, I pray, Lord, that whatever we are fighting, we will see victory in it, in the name of Jesus. Strengthen those who are taking care of aging parents and strengthen our aging parents.

So that all years will not derail that which You have given them as gifts to execute and to do in this lifetime. Bless relationships between us and our older parents.

Give us an understanding of how to take care of them and also give them an understanding of how to allow, how they can allow us to take care of them. So I pray for peace as generations separate and differ in thinking that God help us with understanding one another in the name of Jesus.

We lift up our children, we thank You for their gifts and talents. I pray Lord that You continue to bless them as they go about schooling and all the things they are doing in sporting activities and all the other stuff even grandchildren.

We throw them in there they are a gift to us and I pray Lord for strength and wisdom in the name of Jesus. Protect our children from harm and danger sin or unseen we bless all the we in our midst, grant them favor with men and angels.

And I pray Lord for opportunities for them to continue to grow the families that have been left in their hands. Give them strength, send the help they need. Even for us Lord, I pray Lord that You continue to give us wisdom on how to help them and also how to be there for them.

Thank You Lord for grace. Thank You for mercy. Thank You that You are close to these brokenhearted families. And I pray, Lord, that they will continue to experience victory because You're still sitting on the throne and You are our Father and they are Your children.

Father, bless the works of our hands, the gifts and talents that You have given us, the things that we are doing in this lifetime as we serve others, as we serve the works of employment that we find ourselves in and I pray Lord that favor will follow us as we do what we do.

I pray Lord for those who also travel for work that God protect them in the airways, in the airways and also Lord protect them as they interact and meet different ones as they go to different conferences and meet different people.

I pray Lord that may Your Spirit guide them in conversations. And I pray, Lord, a special blessing that their gifts will continue to make room for them and bring them before great men.

And we thank You, Lord, for them as they interact with coworkers, that God Almighty, they would pay accordingly. And we pray, Lord, that whatever it is that they are getting in remuneration, that God, You multiply it so that it can be used the right way in the name of Jesus.

Father, we lift up the church. We thank You for Your sovereign authority. We thank You, Lord, for grace and we thank You for peace. And we pray, Lord, that in this hour may You raise in our midst church leadership that possesses all the qualities to lead a church in the 21st century.

Raise up men and women who care about spiritual things. And I pray, Lord, that in the church we will be quick to come to reconciliation and we will be quick to come to forgiveness.

So that we can turn from our wicked ways because what we desire is for You to hear the church asking for mercy, asking for grace and asking for blessing and peace for this country.

We pray for this country and its leadership. We also ask that You raise spiritual men that care about spiritual things. Father, shut down the spirit of corruption that has invaded this country and different offices that God, You exonerate us from this spirit in the name of Jesus.

We know we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against rulers and principalities in the heavenly places. So we pray, Lord, as You sustain us, as You strengthen us, that God You continue to give us position as believers in this country.

That our voice will continue to carry great meaning and that it will challenge these offices and people who are leading us so that the Spirit of the Lord can guide us in the things that we are doing as a nation.

Father You know and You see everything that's going on around us and we ask You that may You grant us favor and victory in all things that we are doing in this country. Father extend Your mercy to those who need it and give an opportunity to find salvation.

And I'm praying Lord that may You be slow to anger as You see the things that are taking place around us but Father let Your mercy continue to flow through us and over us in this country.

And I thank You for what You are doing in this hour because You know Lord You don't waste time and we know Lord that You continue to guide us and it's You that we lean into and if You knew that we move and have our being thank You for this community of believers.

I bless every single one of us, I bless us with the love of God, I bless us with grace and I bless us with the peace of God. And we pray this prayer that the peace that Jesus gave us, we continue to receive it and to walk in it.

And we pray, Lord, for favor as we do what we do. And we pray, Lord, for strength as we do what we do. And I pray for grace to abound in everything that we do. Now, Lord, unto You who is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ever imagine.

We continue to ask You to guide us in everything that we do. Help those who are sick, help us who might be tired and weary, and give us rest for our souls.

And I pray, Lord, that what we are doing will never grow weary and tired as we execute the very thing that You have placed in our hands to execute.

Thank You, Lord, for gifting us with the Spirit of God and we ask the Holy Spirit to continue to guide us in everything that we do. Now as we go about our businesses today continue to guide us.

And to lead us not into temptation but to deliver us from the evil one for thine is the kingdom the power and the glory forever and ever Amen and Amen. Brothers and sisters May you all have an incredible Friday and I pray a blessing to you.

May you walk in expectation and in wisdom as you do what the Lord has called you to do. Walk in peace, walk in love. Be generous to somebody and bless others because this world needs it and walk with expectation to receive from the Lord what He has for you.

We will see you back here on Sunday at 6pm Central, 7pm Eastern for Bible study. If you can't join us on Sunday, let's get together back on Monday for morning devotion. I'm sorry for the earlier technical difficulties that we're experiencing.

But nonetheless, we bless the Lord for all that He is doing in our lives. Have an incredible, phenomenal Friday. Stay safe out there if you are in the south, because I know there's a hurricane that's supposed to be coming our way. But we trust the Lord that He will protect us. See you and have a great day.
