Thus Says The Lord-Who God Says He Is, His Commandments and Promises

"1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray Without Ceasing - Friday Morning Prayer"

Good morning, everyone. A blessed happy Friday to everyone. And I just want to say off the top before I forget. I just want to thank Pastor Zee and thank God for the privilege just to be able to be on this line. I do not take it lightly any opportunity I get to pray for someone or to share the word of God, that it's very huge to me.

I take it very, very seriously. So before we begin, I begin because I have about 11 or 12 prayer requests that Zee sent me. I doubt we'll get through all, but I've tried to pray a general covering and allow the Holy Spirit to lead so that everyone will be covered.

So before I do that, I just want to entreat the throne of grace, recognize God for who He is, recognize His Holy Spirit, and we will just be reminded that apart from Him, we can't do nothing.

So again, welcome to all those that are on this prayer line, and would you please join in prayer with me by welcoming the Holy Spirit into our space. So Father, this morning, as we approach your throne, we come in no other name, but in the name of your son Jesus.

And we come because you bid us come, you gave us, you extended that invitation to us to come to you boldly, that we may find the help that we need in times of need. So we thank you so much for honoring your word.

Thank you for being an honorable God. Thank you for being consistent. Thank you for being reliable and dependable. Lord, we come to praise you for giving us another chance to make it right in your sight.

We come to tell you how much we love you. We thank you for all that you have done for us and what you continue to do. We praise you, not because of what you've done, but because of who you are.

We come to thank you that we are in our right minds. Thank you, Lord, for the breath that we have in our lungs. We thank you Lord for the help of the Holy Spirit as we navigate our way through this prayer line this morning praying one for another as your word exalts us that we might be healed.

Your word tells us that the steps of a good man is ordered by God. So we give way to your Holy Spirit to order our steps. Once you order it God, we will always be in the right place at the right time. So this morning, we ask for your mercy.

We ask that you will be merciful to us, and we pray for your will to come, God, and we thank you in advance for hearing and responding to our prayer in Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

So like I said, I have a whole bunch of prayer requests here before me, and some of them are very long. And as Vee told me, I have 30 minutes and four is already gone. So what I have here, I see we have prayer for children, prayer for homes, prayer for peace.

And it's along, pretty much along the same line. Prayer to get a job reinstated and stuff like that. So prayer for grandson, prayer for son, it's just about the same, around the same line. So this morning, I'm just going to do a general prayer and pray that the Holy Spirit meet the needs of these who send these prayer requests.

So Father, this morning, we want to thank you for awakening us. We want to thank you for your mercy that brought us into a new day. Thank you, Lord for the breath in our lungs and for the gift of life.

We step into this day with hope, declaring that this is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice in it and be glad. No matter what is happening around us, we will rejoice in this day.

And we will be glad. Lord, we pay their blood, the blood of Jesus over our minds, our bodies, our homes, our family. The blood of Jesus covers every doorpost, every window, every wall in our dwelling.

The blood of Jesus fills every room, driving out every unclean spirit, every power of darkness, every assignment, of the enemy this morning, oh God. We lift up our family members.

We bring them to you from the oldest to the youngest, even the ones that are yet unborn. Father, we lift their names before your throne. We cover our children in the blood of Jesus. May they be protected at school, at home, online, and in all that they do.

Father, may no predator, no bully, no demon, no illness, no confusion, no trauma come near them. We cover even our spouses in the blood of Jesus. May love, peace, understanding, and protection surround our marriages and relationships.

We cover our elders, our parents, Lord and our siblings in the blood of Jesus. We come to thank you that you are God and beside you, there is none other. Lord, we decree and declare this morning that you are God.

We decree and declare that you are our hope, you are our righteousness. We decree and declare every false label of the world trying to assign to our children is now destroyed in the fire of truth.

We decree and declare they are who God says they are. We plead the blood of Jesus over their eyes, their ears, their minds, and their hearts. We decree and declare they are covered both physically and spiritually.

No predator, no abuser, no bully, no false teacher will have access to them. The Holy Spirit is their defense. The Word of God is their guide. The blood of Jesus is their shield, and angels walk with them.

We come to thank you this morning, oh God, as we apply the blood of Jesus over our finances, our choices, our walk, our transportation, and our daily movements. We bind every spirit of poverty, failure, delay, and hindrance.

Lord, we believe that you are who you said you are. You said that you would fight for us. We need only to be still. We believe that sickness is not our portion. We believe, Lord, that you were wounded for our transgressions.

You were bruised for our iniquity, the chastisement of our peace. They were upon you, and it's by your stripes we will heal. Lord, we believe that healing is the children's bread. We believe, Lord, if you are for us, no one can be against us.

We believe this morning that greater is he who is in us than he who is in the world. We believe according to your word in Ephesians no weapon that is formed against us shall prosper and every tongue that rises against us in judgment they shall be destroyed in Jesus name.

Lord, let your anointing destroy every yoke within our homes and our family lines. We declare this morning that every curse, hexes, spell, word curse, inherited curse, and occultic plan is shattered by the blood of Jesus.

Every watching spirit, blinded, every dividing spirit is silenced, every dark scheme is overturned. We send the fire of God into every corner of our homes and families, consuming all that the enemy intended for evil.

We send forth, we ask you this morning to send forth your angels, Lord, appoint your ministering spirits to guide our families day and night and from accident, no test, no fire, no harm, no sudden law shall approach us.

We rebuke untimely death and declare long life and divine health. Lord, lead us beside peaceful waters as you said you would in Psalm 23. We come to thank you for doing what you said you would do, oh God.

In a world full of noise, let your presence calm our hearts. Silence the chaos, remove the distractions. Help us stay focused on what matters, truly matters, which is your word, your voice, and your love.

We come to thank you, Lord, for being our shield, our defense, our hiding place, our strong tower, our deliverer, our healer, our provider. Lord, you tell us in your word that you are our shepherd.

Because you are our shepherd, we shall want for nothing. So we shall not want for peace. We shall not want for health. We shall not want for food. We shall not want for clothes. We shall not want for clarity.

We shall not want for anything that you have already declared and declared is our inheritance. So we claim it by faith this morning in the name of Jesus. We reject every of fear, we rebuke worry, dread, pressure, panic, and torment.

We replace it with the stillness and courage that comes from dwelling within you. God, we thank you knowing that we are blessed when we get up. We are blessed when we lay down.

We are blessed when we go out. We are blessed when we come in. Lord, we thank you that you are generational. God, you don't only bless us, but you bless us and our households. Will you bless us and those that are connected to us.

So this morning, Lord, we give everyone that is connected to us, to you in the name name of Jesus and we pray that your kingdom will come, that your will, will be done. We are praying for that prodigal son who has gone away from you unfaithful in his marriage, does not know how to treat his wife.

Lord, there is nothing that is too difficult for you to do. That child with autism, we give that child to you, God. You can just speak your word. You us in your word that you are the Lord. You said, I am the Lord that healeth thee.

I am the Lord thy healer. I send my word and heal thy disease. Now God, we give way to you. Your word tells us that we can bring you in remembrance of your word. So we bring you in remembrance of your word.

You said when you send it, you will stand behind it and you will watch over it until it does what you said it to do. So God, we thank you that healing is coming to our homes. Our homes will not be known as a place of darkness.

Our homes will be known as a place of light. Our homes will be known as a place of prayer and worship and thanksgiving. Oh God, we are reclaiming all that belong to us because you would tell us that you will restore all that the locusts, the cankerworm, and the palmerworm, even the crawling caterpillar has eaten.

So this morning we arise in faith. We arise in the authority that you have invested in us. You would tell us to speak to the mountains and they shall be removed.

But God, instead of speaking, we are coming to you to ask you to do what you have already given us the power to do so help us to understand your word when we read it we will understand it.

Lord I pray for an increase in knowledge, an increase in wisdom, an increase in understanding, an increase in the time we spend in your presence that we will spend quality time waiting on you learning of you sitting at your feet.

Oh God, and just learning so that we can hear your still small sweet voice in the midst of chaos, in the midst of confusion. Lord, when a child is outside playing, no matter what that child is doing, he is, and that father calls, that child could recognize his father's voice.

And because we have your DNA in us, because we were created in your image and in your likeness, Lord, we are your children and you said that your shepherd, your sheep are the shepherd and your sheep know your voice.

So God, I am praying that our hearing will be heightened, that we can hear you, God. We can hear what you're telling us to do and we pray for the spirit of obedience. We will go away to send us, do what you tell us, even If it sounds foolish to us, because you said you would use the foolish things of the world to confound your wise.

So I thank you this morning oh God for breathing a fresh breath over us and I thank you for your spirit that is hovering over us Lord and bringing the chaos and the confusion in our lives to order.

Because you're a God of order so I thank you Lord that every prayer request this morning I don't have to read them all, before they were even sent, before they were even thought of, you already know what the needs are.

And I thank you by faith for meeting every need in the name of Jesus. Lord you be glorified be magnified in our lives this morning in the name of Jesus. Lord where you see weakness lie at strength where you see there is no hope Lord give them fresh courage.

Give them hope Help them to hope against hope, knowing that you would come through for them, knowing that you are Jehovah Shama. You already promised us that you would never leave us. You would never forsake us.

When our friends, our family members would turn their backs on us or condemn us. Lord, you said, there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. tells us that your name is Jehovah Shammah.

You will never leave us, you would never forsake us. Your word tells us even if we go through the valley of the shadow of death. Lord I thank you that you are there, your rod and your staff will bring comfort to us.

Thank you for leading us beside still waters. Thank you for causing us to lay down in green pastures. Lord, there is no God like you. Thank you for anointing our heads with oil. It is your anointing that will break yokes.

So we break yokes of sicknesses and diseases and fear and trauma and intimidation, every spirit of witchcraft. Lord, every plan of the enemy before those thoughts even form we interrupt it in the name of Jesus.

We cancel his assignment on our lives and we decree and declare oh God that you will arise and the enemy will be scattered scatter them to the wind and let the angel of the Lord chase them, give them no peace, give them no rest, until they are consumed in the name of Jesus.

Lord I come to thank you for responding to our prayers. Lord, we trust your timing. We know your timing if it is exact. We know your schedule is flawless, Father. We know your timing is not our timing.

So we wait upon you. We wait with great expectation, knowing that you would come through for us. So I thank you for every prayer request. Oh God, that is being answered even now.

Lord, and even while they wait that they would praise you. They would praise in anticipation that the answer is on its way so I thank you for doing it this morning in Jesus name we pray, Amen, Amen, Amen.

So I have ten minutes in which I just want to share a word of encouragement to us and it's taken from the Jeremiah 38 and when you get a chance I want you to take a little time and and read what it says.

Because I can't I can't read all of it the time would not permit me to do so. God, I just thank you for the reading of your word and I pray that as we read, the eyes of our understanding will be open.

Lord, that we would see through different lenses, that the things that we gloss over will now begin to make sense, things that we never understood, will now begin to understand it, God.

Your word is light and life to all that find it. We want to find the truth in your word this morning, is the knowledge of that truth, that will liberate and set us free. So God, as a minister, I am praying, God, a release from the lives of the hearers.

That our hearts and our ears and our minds will be in tune with what the Holy Spirit is saying. Minister to us, I pray, in Jesus name. So if we notice that since in chapter 37, the king, the word of God says, King Zedekiah the son of Josiah, reigned instead of Coniah, the son of Jehoiakim.

Whom Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, made king in the land of Judah. And we see as they went along, first three says, Zedekiah the king said, Jehucal, the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah, the son of Masiah, the priest, to the prophet Jeremiah saying, Pray now to the Lord, our God, for us.

And Jeremiah did. Jeremiah told them there was going, Jeremiah, they said now Jeremiah was coming and going, he was free, he was a free man, until he decided to tell them the truth.

But Jeremiah told them that the time will come when the Chaldeans will depart from them. And where, let me, let me, let me say how it's seen. Thus said the Lord. This is Lord Jeremiah.

Then the word of the Lord came to the prophet Jeremiah saying, thus saith the Lord, this is chapter 37, the God of Israel, thus you shall say to the king of Judah, this is coming from God, not Jeremiah, who sent you to me to inquire of me.

Behold, Pharaoh's army which has come to help you will return to Egypt to their own land and the Chaldeans shall come back and fight against the city and take it and burn it with fire.

He was saying, thus saith the Lord, do not deceive yourself, saying the Chaldeans will surely depart from us, for they will not depart. He was telling them, prophesying to them what God was saying will happen in time to come.

But they did not want to receive the word of God. And it's just like us today, because we don't see it like that, because there is no signs of it coming. We do not believe that it is coming and then we see that it eventually happened, that it came.

They had some trumped up charges against Jeremiah. They put him in jail. But when the king of Babylon, they told him, Jeremiah said to him, You shall be delivered or sent to the king Zedekiah.

You will be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon. They put him in prison but when you read this, you would notice that even if Jeremiah was put in prison for saying what God told him to say, for doing what he was anointed to do and called to do, he still found favor in the eyes of God.

Because verse 27 in 37:21 it says then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah to the court of the prison and they should give him daily a piece of bread from the baker's street until all the bread in the city was gone.

Now, Jeremiah had already prophesied to them, this city is going to be burned by fire. Whoever stay here will die. In other words, it's time to get out. But they did not want to hear him at all.

When you go to chapter 38, they said again, he who remains in the city shall die by the sword, by famine and by pestilence. He who goes over the Chaldeans shall live his life, shall be a prize to him, and he shall live.

This got them more angry. And they said, this man is weakening the people by prophesying what he's prophesying. And they see to it that he was put in a dungeon. And I have five minutes.

And this is where I want to get to. What I want to share this morning or say to us this morning is that our deliverance, excuse me, our deliverance depend on our participation. Now, Jeremiah was put into a dungeon.

And as you read the portion of scripture, you would see that they had to lower Jeremiah into this dungeon with ropes. So that tells us how deep this place was. And I mean, we can think for ourselves, in a dungeon, there will be no light.

So there is darkness, and they said there was mire. It had no water, but I would think it was muddy and sappy and all the rest of things that goes with that. Okay? But look what happens in the end.

It said verse seven in chapter 38. It says, now Ebed-Melech, the Ethiopian, one of the eunuchs who was in the king's house, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the dungeon. When the king was sitting at the gate at Benjamin, Ebed-Melech went out.

He's an intercessor, like we are this morning, of the king's house and spoke to the king, saying, My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon.

And he is likely to die from hunger in the place where he is, for there is no more bread in the city. Then the king commanded Ebed-Melech, the Ethiopian saint, take from here 30 men with you, and lift Jeremiah the prophet out of the dungeon before he dies.

So Abed-Melech took the men with him, and went into the house of the king under the treasury, and took from there old clothes and old rags. and let them down by the ropes into the dungeon to Jeremiah.

Then Ebed-Melech, the Ethiopian, said to Jeremiah, Please put these old clothes and rags under your armpits, under the ropes. And Jeremiah did so. So they pulled Jeremiah up with ropes and lifted him out of the dungeon.

And Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison. Our deliverance depends on our participation. And even if I have prayed for you this morning, or somebody else might pray for you, somebody else might extend a helping hand.

We have to be willing participants to receive our deliverance. We cannot just sit back and say, pray for me. Please hear me this morning. We have to go to God for ourselves and ask him, what can I do?

Where is there a sin here? Where is there a crack? How did the enemy get in? What can I do about it? How do I go about this? How do I respond to it? Somebody said they got a nasty note on their windscreen and they're terrified.

Put it in God's hand. Ask Him how to deal with it. You say you have a problem in your home, your marriage, whatever it is, we serve an all-purpose God, He can answer anything. The thing is, we forget we can go to Him.

We run to others before. God has to be our first line of defense in every situation, in everything. Let's go to the throne of grace first and my time is up. So father I thank you once again for the opportunity of ministering to your people.

Lord even me because your word has to first come alive in me, your word has to first examine me, it first have to convict me before I can speak to anyone else. I thank you, Lord, that your word is written in ink, not in pencil.

It cannot be erased. Your word tells us it is forever centered in heaven. So bring us to a place where we will be willing participants in our own affair. Willing to take responsibility for our own actions, willing to do what needs to be done to bring deliverance to our own homes.

If it means standing in the gap and building up the hedges, praying and fasting, sowing seeds, whatever you tell us to do, God, help us to be obedient. Give us ears to hear it and a mind to do it.

Lord, just like our father Abraham he did as he was told, he didn't go to ask for a second opinion so come against that spirit that doubting spirit in the name of Jesus. We cancel the contract and the assignment the enemy has taken out of our life.

We decree and declare that we have on the whole armor of God Lord, now Lord show us how to use it efficiently and effectively over the enemy, that we too can decree and declare victory, that we can be victorious.

Lord, I thank you. A new day, a new beginning, it's a new leaf, it's a new page, it's a clean slate, it's a fresh start. So I thank you for it. Lord, in thy mercy, hear our prayer and answer our call, I pray, in Jesus name, Amen.
