Thus Says The Lord-Who God Says He Is, His Commandments and Promises

"1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray Without Ceasing - Friday Morning Prayer"

A very good morning to you, everybody. I pray that you are well-rested, that you are having a great week, and that God is walking with you, that your family is well, your kids are up and going, and your grandchildren are up and going to school, and all the other things they are doing in their lives.

And I pray that God's Spirit is in your homes, and that you are all walking in wisdom, that God is guiding you through His Spirit, and He is leading you in all things true and all things right, that we are all walking under the power of salvation, and all the benefits that He gives us.

And our desire is to continue to serve the Lord, our desire is to continue to hear from Him, and His desire is also to draw near to us, as we continue to draw near to Him.

So these times that we gather every morning and not wasted time, this is incredibly important for our existence, and the things that God has in store for us.

And as you all know, Friday is the day that we get to pray for one another, together we get to pray for all the things that God has placed in our hearts to pray for, and we always have different ones praying every single day.

And praying for us today is Kelly. She’s going to be leading us in prayer for all the prayer requests that came in, and then I'm going to come back and pray for what the Lord has placed in our hearts to pray for, and I'm going to leave it to Kelly to pray for us.

But Kelly, I bless you, and we take the Lord for you, and what the Lord is doing in your life, and we take the Lord for where He is taking you. And I, personally, am excited to see what the Lord has instilled for you, and I know He has some stuff still for you.

So at this point in time, I'm going to need all that to you Kelly, so you can pray for us and the needs that came in. Good morning, good morning, and thank you. So there were four words came to mind and heart and spirit, but God and by faith.

So when things seem dark, when they, there doesn't seem to be a path forward, but God and the story changes and the light comes. And some of us may be going through something, some prayer requests I receive, but for everyone else on the call, but God?

And You know what that means, and the story will change for Your own particular situations. And by faith, it reminded me of Hebrews 11.

And that we know that faith is the currency of heaven, and we're practicing that here. But sometimes also it was placed in my heart that the closest to us need the most help. And we see their decline and changes.

It's a roller coaster because we're first hand and we're involved and we see, and also we might even have to overcompensate sometimes, and it's just, it's difficult. But it causes us stress and to each and everyone in that particular situation, anyone who's feeling that again, but God and by faith. So let's look to the Lord.

Your word says, Father God, that now faith is a substance of things, hope for the evidence of things not seeing, provide the elders that change the good testimony by faith, we understand that the words were framed by the word of God.

So that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Father God, I thank You so much for each and every person on this call, Father God, and by faith.

We understand that You move in places that we don't even know where to put our hands or push back. You slide in the dark places on our behalf, Father God.

You just say a word and things are created, situations change, minds and perspectives change. And all of the earth was created by something You said and Father God, we will also follow in Your footsteps.

That may we be able to have authority and influence in the places and spaces and communities that we're in by just changing our words, changing our hearts, changing our minds. And sometimes prayer is required and sometimes it's something that we ourselves can do.

We have that authority and You, Father God, let us all be in remembrance of the power You have given us to also affect change by things we say and do, the things that we think, Father God, on this call, let us not forget the keys we have been given.

We have power through You to make all things possible. Thank You, Jesus, for that. We're just not mindless servants, Father God, You have given us good things to do the things that we need to do. And I thank You for that.

And I ask that each, one of the lives that the people on this call, Veronica, Calvin, Pastor Zee, April, Sandra and I know Sarge and everyone else, Father God, I pray that they be lifted up.

I thank You for this sacrifice. I thank You for their persistence. I thank You for allowing them to be here in their right minds and bodies, Father God.

I thank You for even the little pains and tribulations that we go through that You are with us that You don't leave us, You don't forsake us, You are our rock, our guide, our salvation, You are our banner, our provider, Father God.

You meet our needs, even though some we don't even think about, You meet them every day. You bless us so well, Father God, sometimes we don't have to think about the basics, what we're going to eat next, we have obstructive options.

We have all the needs that we have fulfilled, we lack nor want anything in Your kingdom, Father God, and we thank You for this. We thank You, Father God.

For those who are extended from our bodies, Father God, I want to pray for specifically, to lift up for this specific means by name Father God, for Karinsas’, husband, Father God, I pray that the cloud of fog be lifted from his brain, that he recovers, Father God.

That he can recall anything and everything quickly and with clarity, Father God, that he may use the gifts that You have given him to glorify Your name more than ever before, Father God, that he will have strength a new, to use this new power that You have given him, Father God, to do more without delay.

I pray for Abbinie, Father God, that they may continue to be strong and positive, as she waits on interviews for medical school, Father, it's a very trying time, but we know that You will open a door and make a way where there is no way.

And that interview will go swimmingly well, and that the right place that she needs to be, not just for education, but for her community for a place that she can continue to grow her faith that resources are provided and abundance, and she will be able to serve and bring the light of Christ there.

So not just a school, but a displacement, a divine appointment, Father God, for her to go and be an influence to change minds and perspectives and even gain territory back to Jesus Christ.

For Darryl, Father God, let's step in prayer. Not You will weary from the hard work that he is doing, for clarity to a bound about his residency or working for the God to order his steps, light his path, and make it clean.

Even if it's just the next step Lord God, it doesn't have to do the full path, but just the next step that it may be a relief to know where he is going and how You will prepare and equip him for the next step.

He will equip him for the next stage and stage of life, bring clarity, Father God, and peace for whatever decision that You decide about having moved forward in his present relationship, Father God.

And I pray, Father God, that the right partner will come, that he will know who that is, and they will know also, and stand in agreement, Father God, that they are a Godly partner, and not a detractor.

Because these things, it's so important, second to who You will serve in life as Your God, who You will spend life with by Your side is probably the second most important thing, Father God, and we pray that Darryl choses wisely, and discerns what Your true heart is for his life partner.

We pray, Father God, for Uncle Stacey, that he may be treated for what he needs, that he will regain comfort Lord in his older age, that he will open his mind and hearts and moving in with his sister, Father God, who has his desire to care for him.

We pray that that be a decision of his, but also something that he is looking forward to, that it is not a loss of independence, it is not a loss, it is not a failure but a gain to be in a place where You are loved, where You are accepted, where Your needs are met, and not in a cold place where no one cares, Your treatment fathers, and Your health decline, Father God.

We put it upon his heart to move in accordance with this wish, we pray for all things that need to happen for this move to California will come together in a miraculous wa,y that the resources come and with favors showing up in a large way for doctors, care.

The selling of his house, his things, and his peace be in alignment, Father God. It is a complex process for us, but not for You, so we look to You for guidance, Father God, and we know that You will see it through.

For Mr. Smith, we pray that You continue to strengthen him as he recovers from health issues. Father, we know that sometimes going through these issues, not just as a physical son, but a mental and a spiritual thing, give Mr. Smith the mental capacity and strength to recover.

Increase his faith, sometimes encourage himself in places and spaces that no one else can get to on top of the physical health issues that need assistance, Father God. Completely heal him from the inside out, and restore him a new.

To the Elliott, to Elliott and his family, in the passing of his mother, Father God, we pray for encouragement. We know that if You are asked it from the body, You will present with the Lord, and there is no greater place for her to be.

But for those who are still here, we pray for their hearts to be rendered, the memories to be rich from the woman who has just passed, Father God, that she will never be replaced.

But Lord God, let her be remembered, her presence known for what she has done to the matriarch of the family, Father God. And the family sees together, oftentimes, a family member, especially a mother or father, passes.

The family falls apart because it was the mother and father that were the glue, let that not be the testimony of this family that they may continue.

In the things of God, as they were told and interested to do by his mother. To the Young woman in need of a drier who has been taking her family's belonging to her.

Lord provide for her as Jehova, Jireh, that You are our ultimate provider and resources will come, allow her to be blessed Father God, a drier for her clothes to be dry and to lessen the inconvenience of this burden, and all the stress involved as well.

And to the trusted neighbor who is growing older in age and taking care of her mother, Father God, the tremendous stress that came from along with care taking for a loved one, to this woman, Father God.

Give her bandwidth energy and endurance and strength, peace of mind, and time for herself to cry, to grieve, to pause, to satisfy her every need, Father God, while she is not thinking of herself or her mother.

To each person on this call and, oh, and one more for Sandra Williams, Father God, we lift her up in prayer. You know her every need, I pray that You touch her knee, Father God, with the pains that she has been experiencing.

I pray that You lift them from her, restoring her knee, Father God, removing the pain and discomfort, and giving her full restoration and healing, Father God. We thank You for what You have done in her pain maintenance and seeing doctors, but we know that there's more that You can do and we ask You to complete this process of healing.

We also lay in Your hands, Father God, You allow her to stand humbly and utilize the gift You have blessed her with in her community and her home church, Father God, and all the places that You put her that she is able to lend a hand, Father God.

Allow her to do so and give her a bouquet of flowers as well for the work that she has done. Sometimes, I notice what is so seamless in second nature we doesn't think so much about, but just a moment of sense, those who serve or are helps.

Sometimes a bouquet of, thank You, and we thank You for providing that provision. Father God, in my own eyes, I thank You for continuing at my journey of healing and management of allergies and transition Father God, You have been so good, You have been so kind.

I thank You for Veronica and Calvin who have been the answer to my prayers and transition and good humor and just allowing them to be here and here, walk the journey ahead of me, Father God. I thank You for the obedience.

I thank You for their patience with me. I thank You for their wisdom, their knowledge, their willingness to serve, Father God. And I pray that in all the ways that I am taking up space, faithfully in their lives.

I pray that they are enriched 100 fold, Father God, that You may pour out a blessing upon them, Father, for the things they have done in service. I pray that they are acknowledged above and beyond whatever that I could provide.

I know that You will open up my gates to bring them blessings and joy, Father God, in the ways that they would love them most. And I trust You to do that in Your own respective way, but I want them to know that they are most appreciated. And the same for Pastor Zee and his family.

Thank You for Your time as well, Father God. I thank You for each of Your trusted servants on this call. Some I may not have met or interacted with, but in the work and lives of the people that they are a part of, let them be acknowledged and appreciate it.

You are appreciated to each and every one of You under the sound of my voice. It may not seem that way, it may not look that way, but God sees You, He hears You, He acknowledges You, You are not forgotten, You are loved, and we are all thankful, and the people that You serve as well.

My heart is overjoyed, my cup runneth over, and I pray the same for each of You. And with that return it back over. May God bless You all. And we say Amen and Amen.

Brothers and sisters, I'm about to, we thank Kelly for praying for all of us and for all the prayers that came in. And I'm going to close us in prayer, but the prayer that I am about to pray a few years ago.

I think it was right in the onset of pandemic. I was asked to pray and that day I was just by myself at the church, and with cameras and nobody.

And of course it was Sunday service, but it was nobody. And I remember praying this prayer, and it just kind of becomes something that I, I regularly do now this prayer.

It was really from the spirit, but it is something that I do regularly now pray this prayer because I know that as human beings we need to be contained, and then we also need to continuously repent.

The things that are happening around us, are wicked heads to be honest. They, they are different groups of maybe believers, or that climb to the believers that have set up things like life search where people gather, and they are talked to by different industrial leaders.

Supposedly to be a Christian world or a Christian viewpoint, and all we are seeing and realizing that most of this is just a way to, to grab people, to grab money out of people.

And one of the ways, and this always happens, that when, when people are going through a hard time, if a nation is going through a hard time, You always find people who abuse the needs of people.

By standing in front of them, providing what's supposed to be a way out, but actually just using it as a way to grab money out of people because of desperation. Because when you are desperate for things, you are desperate to hear from the Lord, you are desperate to go and seek out something.

And because of that, there’s people who abuse that, and so I want to pray this prayer, and it's a prayer for repentance, on behalf of the country, on behalf of us as people, because the Scriptures ask us to always constantly repent.

So Father, we repent of wickedness in our society, deliberate or undeliberate. We repent of our unrighteous and holiness that we see in our countries. We repent of the genocide tendencies, especially that are gripping this country right now, where mothers are killing children for whatever reason.

We repent of the support that some are hindering or some are giving to those who are committing genocide tendencies. We repent of unrighteous leaders, all across spectrums of society, we repent of all forms of debauchery and decotry.

We repent of unholy ambitions that leads to pride, idolatry and self-righteousness. We repent of greedy in our society that is gripping this nation. We repent of corruption that we are seeing in front of us, through our leaders or through those who are taking part in corruption.

We repent of the idea of self-rule that excludes Your sovereign authority and principles. In the name of freedom, Lord, we have brought confusion upon ourselves. We repent of unbelief in our society.

We repent for unbelief that we as Your children believe us sometimes can have because of strife and challenges that we see. We repent of all forms of sexual immorality in our society.

The times that we have allowed our eyes, our ears, to see things or hear things that violate every principle that You have set to govern mankind. We repent of the times that we have spoken of death in our own lives or into others' lives.

We repent of the love of money that grips our nation which leads to prostitution, fornication, the self-office, elicit drugs, murder, unlucky and greed.  Father, we repent of our rebellious attitudes which leads to unrighteous patterns that are evident in our lives and in people's lives in this country.

We repent of the times we have unwillingly or willingly participated in dishonouring others or leaders. We repent on behalf of this mission of all forms of injustice, base slavery or even things that are still taking place today.

We repent for that injustice that have been perpetuated over centuries. We repent of all forms of racism and hate and all of its forms that comes to hinder other people for who they are because You love all humanity, You created every single one of us in the image of God.

Lord, we repent of the times we have set laws as a country that promotes racial prejudice and hate crimes for other groups. We repent when we have set up laws, Lord, that seeks out a systematically oppressed people.

For gain, for others, we repent for the ideological mistakes that were made as the inception of this country. We ask for forgiveness for leaders that use people as pawns as they seek to push personal agenda and gain wealth out of that.

We ask for forgiveness for church leaders that strays away from truth and biblical principles that govern society and churches. We ask for forgiveness for church leadership that dishonors the values and the principles and the statutes that You have placed in our kingdoms to govern the church and ease people.

We ask for forgiveness for church leaders that indulge in things they should not indulge in. Father, we pray, Lord, and we also ask for forgiveness for times that we have broken oaths and things that we have set upon ourselves to do.

And we did not accomplish them for whatever reason. We ask for forgiveness for the time that we have committed ourselves to do certain things and yet we didn't follow through.

We ask for forgiveness, Lord, for the times that we have gone against Your covenants and broken Your rules and also the values and statues that You have set for us to walk in parameters that You have given us to guide us on this walk.

We repent of all types and forms of thievery. We repent as nation for the times we have violated our laws that we ourselves have set to govern ourselves.

We repent when we as people seek to cut corners and take advantage for loopholes. We repent of the sins of our fathers and forefathers. Lord, we ask for forgiveness for the times we have not cared for the poor, the widows and the children amongst us.

Father, we ask for forgiveness for the times we have taken more than we need. The times we have deprived others as we seek to enrich ourselves. Lord, we repent for the times we have manipulated others.

We have manipulated systems to suit our desires. And we ask for forgiveness for all our sins. We ask for peace and justice and righteousness in all of its forms. Have mercy on us as we have done You wrong. May You continue, Lord, to give us grace and mercy. Father, we ask for peace.

We ask, Lord, that You help us to be meek. Teach us how to believe in You completely and totally without holding nothing. Teach us the importance of church and community in the Christian faith again.

Father, help us, Lord, as leaders to be integrous, help us, Lord, to teach us to love one another. Remove the beam in our eyes so we can see each other through Your eyes. Lord, teach us to respect ourselves and others.

We call an end to injustice. We pray that You give us honest leaders, men and women who care about spiritual things. We pray for the restoration of the soul of this country.

We know a lot of things have been lost because of what we are seeing around us. But father, for the revenants that is still standing, I pray, Lord, may we be the very true essence of revival that touches the hearts of men to return back to Christ.

Father, we pray for the removal of dishonest leaders that let integrity, whether be it in church, whether be it in civic leadership or in political offices, or every field that we see, health care, we pray, Lord, that You raise a generation of leaders that care about spiritual things, women, that care about community and people.

Show mercy for all the people who are seeking to repent, Lord. And if they are not willing, we pray, Lord, that may You restore them. And if they choose not to receive restoration, I pray, Lord, for their expedient removal.

We pray, Lord, for removal of unjust and unholy and evil leadership in all of its forms across society. Lord, raise up a generation of Young people who seek the Lord, Young people who run to the church.

Who run to the house, who run to the holy things, who are willing to be driven by the spirit of God in all things true and in all things right. Father, I pray You raise up believers us, Lord, that are willing to abide by the searches of this kingdom.

We ask, knowing Lord, that You are just, that You are able, that You are kind, that You are loving, that You are love. And we ask, Lord, knowing Lord, that You have patience with us. And Father, I pray, Lord, that You have mercy upon this country.

Have mercy upon us as a people. There are things that we have allowed to touch our societies that are beyond what You saw at the inception of mankind. We are seeing women all across this country, killing their own children for whatever reason.

We know this spirit as risen, and we come against it, and we are praying, Lord, that You send angels on assignment to stop this, this quality and evil that is now invaded our societies.

Father, we thank You that You are sovereign, that Your eye is on the sparrow, that You see everything. And we are asking You, Lord, to invade our space so You can teach us how to be righteous, how to walk in purity.

We need it in this hour, in this country. So Father, we owe to You today, asking You to forgive us as we repent on behalf of ourselves in this country.

And we ask You, Lord, to correct places and things that need correction, send Your spirit, send somebody who is willing to stand for truth and righteousness in the name of Jesus.

Send somebody who is willing to stand for peace and respect. In the name of Jesus, for justice and righteousness, in the name of Jesus. Father, we ask You to now come and lead Your church so that we can become the light, the voice, the salt that leads humanity into triumph and profession as we are waiting for Your return.

And we thank You, Lord, that as we use to You, that may You continue to guide our lives as Your children, as Your people, as we do all that You have installed for us to do.

Father, I thank You for this group of people that we gather around every morning to seek Your face. May You bless us in everything that we do, our families, our children, may You bless us in all our efforts to serve You.

The things that we do wrong in our efforts to serve You, we ask for forgiveness, that God may You direct us and direct our paths, our ideas on the name of Jesus, as we look to the future.

As we look to next year, as we plan, as we do all the necessary things that we do to keep this community vibrant and running and into Christ and seeking the Lord and worshipping together and looking at Scripture.

We want to do all these things guided by Your spirit. So we ask You, Lord, as we look into next year, as we plan for what's coming, that God Almighty guides us in all truth, in all righteousness, in the name of Jesus.

We want Your spirit to lead us, to guide us, so that we never go back and have corrections, because we know when we plan, You will write there in our midst. So I pray, Lord, for whatever You are doing in our lives, that God continue to grant us favor with men and angels, I pray for resources, pray, Lord, that You lead us.

Lead us, Lord, because we know without You this thing does not mean anything. We know, Lord, that our effort is no meaning, if Your presence is not here with us. So father, we are asking for the Holy Spirit, the advantage that God gave us to walk this earth, so we became the righteousness of Christ.

And we pray, Lord, that may You guide our families, especially our children. We know this spirit, that is risen in this country, is running after them, and father, I pray, Lord that is, we saw it in the days of Jesus, here what rising up, against children.

We come against this spirit in the name of Jesus, that it shall not be so, that the challenge is that we are seeing in our country. Against with children, we come against it in the name of Jesus, send Michael himself to fight for our children in the name of Jesus.

We command the Spirit of God to embed every household, to touch every mother, and remove this such spirit Lord that is desiring to take our children away from us.

And I pray, Lord, that it shall not be so, that this has to stop, and we are asking Your angels on assignment to move on behalf of us, and to invade every little space, and every little home, and every home Lord, and touch every mother, that this shall not be so.

We call an end to it, and Father, we pray, Lord, may You come quickly, so You can help us in this way. We thank You for Your hand, and we thank You for Your guidance, we thank You for Your words of the scriptures, we thank You for Your Holy Spirit.

And now Father, as we go about our business today, leaders in everything that we do, guidance, protect us, we pray for widows among us, bless them, we pray for their children, and their households, that God they will not want for anything, because You are sovereign.

And we thank You for Your goodness, and Your mercy, and now leaders not into temptation, deliver us from the evil one, for thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever, Amen, and Amen.

Brothers and sisters, stay in prayer, pray for the things that you see that are wrong, because we are the antidote, we are the antidote, your prayers are the antidote, if we don't pray the word perishes.

So continue to pray without season, with all kinds of prayers, making intersessions for men, when you see injustice, pray, when you see somebody being abused, pray, when you see things not going on well, pray, when you see leaders make mistakes, pray.

When you see the debauchery that's going on in our country, pray, when you see the corruption that's going on, pray, because we are the antidote, and we have the answer, because God has given us the ability to communicate with him.

So let's not take ourselves from granted, and understand that the power that God has given us, and the authority that believers have, is to connect with Him so that He can move on our behalf.

Have an incredible Friday, have a great weekend, we have Bible study on Sunday, let's come together and study the Word of God, and if you can join us on Sunday, we'll see you on Monday for morning devotions.

Same time, 7 a.m. Central, and 8 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, may the Lord bless you, may you walk in expectation, and may have an incredible phenomenal day, and we'll see you soon.
