Thus Says The Lord-Who God Says He Is, His Commandments and Promises

Isaiah 53 "Who Has Believed Our Report? And To Whom Has The Arm Of The Lord Been Revealed?"

Good morning, good morning. God is a good God. He is our Abba Father and we thank him for who he is in our lives. And we are coming this morning just to give him praise, glory and honor and to seek his face in all things, knowing that he is the great I am.

Father, in Jesus name, we see from your word that the Holy Spirit, the greater one who dwells in us, is our helper. We recognize his vital part in our prayer life, and as we intercede, we acknowledge the importance of allowing him to take hold together with us in prayer.

We are willing to be vessels of honor, getting ready for his use. We will to yield our members as instruments of righteousness. We will to present our body a living sacrifice to you, Father, so that the Holy Spirit can flow through us.

He can work to bring the will of God to pass in our lives. Holy Spirit, be with us in prayer when we don't know what to pray. We ask you right now to be our helper, our leader, our guide, instructing us in the word we speak in faith to cause the perfect will of God to come to pass in our lives in Jesus name.

Amen again, my brothers and sisters, we are here. and we are going to Isaiah which has been the book in which we have been reading about thus saith the Lord and I have been given the task only because of my, do I say task because it is God who is going to be the one who speaks to you.

My brothers and sisters today and I know that you will hear from God as he directs me in what he has given me. I am in Isaiah 53 this morning and we're going to read in the verses as I begin with chapter one which is where I'm going to be focusing in on because it says, Who has believed our report?

And we know that Isaiah was talking to the children of Israel because of the way that they had been disobedient, stiff-necked, hard-headed, just as we are today. And it says, who hath believed our report?

That means trusted in, relied upon, and cling to the message of that which was revealed to us. So what was that message? And as even going back to Isaiah, the first chapter, because we can go, we can go back to Genesis when disobedience became such a real thing to the people.

But I'm going to go to the 52nd chapter and the sixth verse says, therefore my people shall know what my name is. And we studied the names, some of the names of Jesus, our God.

Those who rule over them Oh, excuse me. Therefore, my people shall know what my name is and what it means. Therefore, they shall know in that day that I am he who speaks. Behold, I am.

And the report of what it was, was to let us go to finish reading and to whom has the arm of the Lord been disclosed? And as I was reading that, it gave reference to John, the 12th chapter, and the 38th through the 41st verse.

And it said, this was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet. Lord, who has believed our message? And to whom has the armor of the Lord been revealed? For this reason, we could not believe because as Israel says elsewhere, He was blind.

He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn, and I will heal them. Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus' glory and spoke about him.

Yet at the same time, many, even among the leaders, believed in him. But because of the Pharisees, they would not openly acknowledge their faith for they would, excuse me they were put out of the synagogue for they loved human praise more than the praises from God.

So it lets us know that they did not believe when they saw what had been done and it was going to 4, Surely he has bore our greed, sickness, weakness, and distress. Yet we ignorantly consider him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God, as if with leprosy.

But he was wounded for our transgression. He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities. The chastisement needed to obtain peace and well-being for us was upon him, and with the stripes that wounded him, we are healed and made whole.

All we, like sheep, have gone astray. We have turned everyone to his own way, and the Lord has made to light upon him the guilt and iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted, he was submissive and opened not his mouth.

Like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep before his shields is done, so he opened not his mouth. What was the people not believing? What did they not know? It was made known unto them, revealed to them.

When we read God's word, we must let it become life. Looking at the cross, that was the life for us because that we should have been. And Jesus did it for us by going to the cross. Not just seeing the words, but receiving the word as life.

As clear, as hearing, and with understanding what was being done at that time for us to believe in knowing that we are aware of his story, because his story is the good news, the burial, the death, but the resurrection for us all.

So as we're becoming aware of what was that that we should remember, the message that he gave to us, to be individually understanding that we should walk in that way, Jesus' death on the cross was a picture for us to accept the message.

To lead us in such a way to receive the way which God had given us, knowing that that is and was the best way, the correct way, and the only way for us to travel to get to where we are going.

And that's the peace of God, understanding his wisdom, his knowledge, his understanding. and the abundance of becoming. What is the word? We remember Jesus Christ, the anointed one, and his anointing is the word and why he went to the cross to die for each and every one of us.

So that we become step by step what I've read as him born our greed, carrying our sorrows. And as he was smitten for us, that we will walk upright in his word, in his wisdom, and his knowledge that we will hear men today, women today, even children saying, what is the message?

It's the good news. What must we do to be saved as they see the life that we live, the things that we do, it is for us to know that sin is not our friend. There is a difference in us heading to heaven and hell.

Yes, we will make mistakes. Yes, there will become times when we think thoughts, do things, travel in a way which is not godly. But he says that we have a Father that we can run to, ask for forgiveness, and seek his face in knowing.

The message is Jesus Christ, our God. We won't be hard-hearted, stiff-necked, disobedient. We'll seek to hear the voice of God clearly, knowing that we will not follow strangers.

But we will allow ourselves to be slow to speak, swift to hear, slow to anger, not letting the sun go down on the wrath of our lives that we be entangled with only by the enemy who comes to accuse the brethren.

But we have our God, our Father, Jesus Christ, our Advocate, who gave us the Holy Ghost to strengthen us, to keep us, and to let us know that he is the way he is the word. He is the message.

He is the report. He is God and there is none besides him. None but the God the Father. And we thank him for all that he is in our lives. As we go to Isaiah 55:6-7, it says seek ye the Lord while he may be found.

Call ye upon him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the God our Lord, and he will have mercy upon us, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon us.

When I read the scripture in 2 Chronicles 7:14, When I look at it, well, I will go back, not 14, I will go to 2 Chronicles 7, and I'll start at the 11th verse. And it says, does Solomon finish the Lord's house and the king's house?

All that he had planned to do in the Lord's house, in his own house, he accomplished successfully. And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night and said to him, I've heard your prayer and I've chosen this place for myself as a house of sacrifice.

If I shut up heaven so no rain falls, or if I command locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people, my people who are called by my name. We all want to be his people called by his name because we will humble ourselves.

We'll pray, seek his face, and turn from our wicked ways. We know that when we receive the report of the Lord, we will turn from our wicked ways. And God says, then will I heal from heaven. I will forgive their sin. I will heal their land.

Now my eyes will be open and my ears attended to the prayers offered in this place. I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my name will be forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.

As we walk upright, knowing who our God is, as we walk in the ways of understanding who we are, hearing his voice, knowing that as the children of Israel saw the Red Sea, they walked on dry land.

As they saw, God healed them when they turned and looked at the serpents, if they had been bitten. All the things that we have, the report of the Lord, is for us to be strong in the Lord and in the power who is might, because we are putting on the whole armor of God.

And we know as we put on his whole armor, we will be able to walk upright in his word, because the word it was keep is what keepeth us, strengthen us and help us to know that we will be strong in the Lord and his mighty power, because we will put on his full armor.

So we can take our stand against the devil's scheme, because this is what we're wrestling with. Our struggle is not with flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the power of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of the evil in the heavenly realm.

Which we must make sure that we put on the full arm of God. So in the days which are now here, which our evil comes, we are able to stand our ground. And after we've done everything to stand, we stand firm, knowing that we have the belt of truth buckled around our ways with the breastplate of righteousness in place.

With our feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, we take up the shield of faith with which we can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

We take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. And as we pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayer and requests, with this in mind, we are alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people.

We pray also that we will be fearfully made known. We will fearfully know the mystery of the gospel for which we are ambassadors. We pray that we declare we are fearlessly as we should be because we go back knowing that the report that we will believe is the report of God because he has given it to us to stand strong to hear his voice clearly.

A stranger we will not hear. We are his sheep. We enter into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise. We give him glory and honor, knowing. What is the report that we are believing?

The report is that we are standing. We are strong. We are steadfast. We will be unmovable because of the God that we serve. So today, my brothers and sisters, we will hear his voice.

We will listen to our hearts, not the deceptiveness of it, but the truth which was planted and which we have been given. As I say our faith, we will see the Lord because he is higher lifted up.

And as we see him, we seek him, and we understand and know where we are in him, we will find the Word. We will understand truth. We will believe that He is God. He is, and we will rest in Him.

Understanding that as He went through the cross, the cross with all that He had, just for us to know that God has God has helped us and is helping us to know that his he is our God and we're believing in him.

We're trusting in him. We are relying upon him. And we're clinging to the message that he's revealed to us. That he is God. And that all that he has done for us we receive, we believe and we thank Him for it because He is Abba, our Father.

Thank you, Father God, for healing us, making us whole. Our minds, our bodies, our strength that you yield to us daily. Help us to be here for our brothers and sisters so they too will know that you are the great I am.

We will use those truths that you've given us wisely so that others will see and come crying out. What must we do to be saved? We will follow in your footsteps, Father God, this day, knowing that you are our God.

You are the one who's teaching us, who's given us the word, who's letting us be that light where it seems not to be light, but through the darkness we will shine and we will become vessels and praises given to you because you are almighty God.

Father God, this day we seek your faith, understanding that the reason why you were wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities and our guilt. The chastisement that we needed to obtain peace and well-being was upon you.

And with each stripes we were made whole and healed. We thank you for your healing this morning, Lord. Touch our minds. Touch our bodies. Touch our spirits. Touch and give us each step that we take to know who we are in you.

You are the great I am. Father God, we thank you. We praise you and we understand that in you, we live, we move, and we have our beings. And as we say, we will praise you, Lord, for the words of our mouth and the meditation of our heart be acceptable in your sight, oh Lord.

Our firm rock and our salvation, that we yield ourselves to you early when we cry out. Thank you, Abba Father. This day, I pray that the word will be soft to those who are listening and penetrate your heart to know that this is the day that God has made, we are rejoicing and being glad in Him. Amen, my brothers and sisters.
