Thus Says The Lord-Who God Says He Is, His Commandments and Promises

"1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray Without Ceasing - Friday Morning Prayer"

A very good morning, a very good morning to you, everybody. Happy Friday. I pray that you had a lovely and wonderful night, well rested and ready for another day with the Lord. Let us go to the Lord in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your goodness. We thank you for your mercy. We thank you for all that you have done, and we thank you for what you're still going to do. We thank you, Lord, that we have a Father we can go to, that we have a rock we can stand on.

And we thank you for this day that you have made. We are going to rejoice in it and be glad in it. Thank you for redeeming us from the curse of the law. Even though we were crucified with you, but yet we still live.

We thank you, Lord, for the gift of Jesus Christ, coming to the earth and to die on the cross for such as us. And we thank you, Lord, for salvation, the gift of salvation, the gift that continuously changes into beings that you have called us to be.

So, Father, we glory in you this morning. We thank you, Lord, that we have this opportunity and time to devote it to you, to fellowship with one another, to commune with the Holy Spirit, and Father above all else, to continue knowing Jesus.

So Father, as we come together in a spirit of fellowship, in a spirit of prayer, I pray, Lord, that every request that we will table before the courts of heaven, that God, you be kind enough to answer us and also to provide us avenues and ways to get to where you desire for us to get to.

So we bless you this morning and we give you honor and glory in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen and Amen. So brothers and sisters, today is Friday and we're going to be praying.

As you all know, every Friday we put it aside as a day to pray for one another, to lift each other in prayer, to lift to God the request that we have. I know that as long as you are alive as a believer, you are always going to be fighting something.

There will always be something to pray about and to pray for. So today, we have prayer requests I'm just going to read them out then you can join me in prayer as we pray for this request.

So we are going to pray for Nina and Harold Sergeant. that God will give, continue to give good health and strength as a surgeon goes through physical therapy and that God can continue to restore his body and give him strength to live out the rest of his life in the way that God designed it to be.

And then we are also praying for Calvin and Veronica. Veronica recently got a new role at an organization that is what she's working for. Then there's a lot to do over there and that may her gift and talents continue to be utilized and also to make room for her in that new organization.

Then we also want to pray for Nadia's mother who is currently in hospital and she experienced a little bit of shock and we need to lift her up, that God can restore her. And then also, we want to continue to pray for all the seniors amongst us.

It's not easy taking care for aging parents. It's one of the most difficult and challenging times because you essentially become their parents, but above all else you are also watching them.

You know, lose their physical strength and you having to take care of them and also to take care of your life is not easy.

So I know that a lot of us here have aging parents, so we want to lift that up and then also our children continuously, non-stop, we're going to lift our children up.

Because this world is not really a safe place. But we are also always safe in God's hands, Amen, So let us pray. Father, we come before you. We lift up Nina and Harold Sergeant. Father, we are grateful for these gifts that you have for our community.

We thank you, Lord, for their lives. We thank you Lord for the journey that they have been on. So Father, I pray now for good health, for strength, that God may you continue to restore Sarge.

I pray Lord that as he goes through difficult, different medical challenges and situations and physical therapy and all the things that you have been placed for him to go through. I pray that you may restore his strength.

That you may restore his balance, that you may increase his appetite, so that food can sustain him and give him strength that he desires and needs. Lord, I pray that you help him Sarge with high blood pressure.

And I pray, Lord, that if there's anyone amongst us who's dealing with high blood pressure, that God, may you, by your stripes, heal our bodies so we don't have to deal with high blood pressure.

So we thank you, Lord, for grace. We thank you, Lord, that you're healing of all of us in this area, that we would not experience high blood pressure. That Father, if there are things that we are doing that needs to change so that we don't have to go through scenarios where we deal with high blood pressure.

I pray Lord that you give us wisdom so that we can live life without fear, worry, anxiety. Because your word instructs us not to be anxious for anything but through prayer and supplication to continue praying and requesting that God you move in our lives.

So Father, I thank you for Nina and Harold and I thank you Lord for what you are doing in their lives. I pray Lord that you continue to give strength to Mama Sarge as she takes care of her husband.

And I pray Lord for all the children that God may they become of aid during this season of their lives. I thank you for Calvin and Veronica for these two that you have put in our lives, for the role they play in all our lives.

I pray, Lord, that as you continue to bless them in the things of the Lord, that the doors that you open for them to walk in, may your wisdom, may room be made for their gifts and talents to continue to shine.

I pray even for Veronica in her role with this new organization. I know, Lord, you open doors for us to teach us, to grow us, and to expand our abilities. And I pray, Lord, that may this new position open the doors for Veronica to experience a greater reward in working for you.

I thank you, Lord, for courage. I thank you for wisdom. I thank you for strength. I thank you, Lord, that in this time you are teaching some incredible, phenomenal lessons in this new role.

And I pray, Lord, that as you expand her, that she will go in the way that you have designed for her to go. Thank you for the transition that you have experienced moving from New York to North Carolina.

And I pray, Lord, that in this season of their life, that God, may you continue to open and to bless their lives. We thank you for this two. I pray, Lord, for the anointing that rests upon their lives to continue to find a way to be used by you in your kingdom.

Thank you for their gifts. Thank you for their talents. Thank you, Lord, for all they have experienced over the years to now where they stand and use that experience as a teaching tool to the next generation.

Open doors for Veronica and Calvin for great and incredible phenomenal ministry. I pray, Lord, that the word of God may deepen in them as you set them on a foundation that cannot be shaken.

I pray Lord for courage to continue to speak truth and I pray Lord for wisdom to continue to expand in their lives. Father, I pray Lord for Vee’s mom. We know they move to North Korea to take off aging parents.

I pray now Lord that wisdom will continue to be part of their portion. And that God, this journey, this time with Mom, will give also an opportunity for them to be a doorway to minister this gospel to her in the name of Jesus.

We pray now, Lord, for Mom, that she will continue to experience full salvation as we continue to table before the courts of heaven. Bless her in her old age, in the name of Jesus.

Father, I lift up all our aging parents. I thank you Lord for this season of their lives, where we find ourselves transitioning to being their parents. I pray that you give us strength, wisdom, to help them in their time of need.

Father, I pray above all else for wisdom to interact with them, but also to be a voice of reason in areas where they are losing their cognitive abilities. I pray, Lord, that you continue to give us wisdom in this area and give us strength.

We know it's not an easy thing and we know, Lord, that we are caught in the midst of taking care of them, but also taking care of our children. So Father, in this time of our lives, as we stand to be the middle ground between an aging generation and the younger generation.

I pray that you continue to give us wisdom, strength, continue to give us courage, and continue to give us peace that surpasses human understanding. Now we pray for peace. We command peace for all of us.

Peace of mind because we know, Lord, as long as we have peace of mind, we can have an incredible communication way with you. And I pray, Lord, that may the peace of God that surpasses human understanding be our daily portion as we continue to live out these lives.

Father, I pray for wisdom in dealing with these 21st century challenges that we are experiencing. We know the mandate to be the light, the mandate to be the salt has been given to us.

So help us to champion the cause of Christ in the earth. May we, by your spirit, continue to make your name great. May ye by your wisdom continue to give us the courage to stand and proclaim the truth of this kingdom.

Father, I lift up all believers that may we hold on to the statutes of our faith. May we hold on to the things that we know are part and parcel of this kingdom. I pray, Lord, that may you keep our hearts and our minds focused on the commandments that you have given us.

May you hold on to the values of the spiritual lives that we carry. I pray that as the enemy continues to come in like a flood, By your Spirit may you raise us up as a standard that others can learn from and others can seek wisdom from.

I pray that the Spirit of God may continue to guide us in all things true and in all things right. I pray, Lord, that may we hold on to the standards of holiness that you have tabled for us to follow through in the steps of Jesus.

I pray, Lord, that as we read scriptures, may our knowledge of you continue to be grown. May we be expanded in our efforts to know you better. May we be expanded in our efforts to do ministry well.

I pray that the desire to continue to read scripture be raised in us so that the knowledge of you can continue to be expanded in us. The Word of God commands us to grow in the knowledge of God.

So I pray that may we continue to experience growth in this particular area. We want to be used by you. We want to stand for this kingdom. We want to be the voice of reason. We want to be a pillar for communities.

So I pray that God, as you infuse us into your kingdom, may we continue to hold on to the very true essence of who you are. That you have revealed through scriptures, that you have revealed through Jesus, that you continue to reveal through the Holy Spirit.

May our relationship with the Holy Spirit continue to grow, because we know He is our counsel, we know He is our friend, we know He is our guide. And I pray, Lord, that as He speaks into our lives, may we be quick to act.

May we be quick to follow instructions he is leaning so that we are never found out of state In the name of Jesus. Now we pray for healing. Emotional, physical, mental. Every kind of healing.

We claim it as our portion because we know Jesus was wounded for our transgressions. and He was wiped for our healing. His blood now is there for us to claim as a portion to heal us. By His stripes we are healed emotionally, physically, mentally.

I pray, Lord, that if there is any sickness that is hiding in our bodies, that God may you heal us. I pray, Lord, that through sicknesses and disease, may we experience the full power and authority of the cross and the blood of Jesus flowing in our lives.

While we are here, we pray for Nadia's mom, that in this hour, in this season, that she's going through this difficulty. We are calling on her to be healed physically and also for her soul to be made whole.

May this time and this era be a season to find wholeness in you for her. We table her before the courts of heaven. And ask Lord that if there is anything that she's dealing with emotionally, that God you may heal her and make her whole in this hour.

If there's any past hurts, any past trauma, Father, we table is before you, that may she receive full and total healing in the name of Jesus. Father, help all of us in our quest to be whole. Help all of us in our quest to be spiritually healed.

Help all of us in our efforts to be mentally strong. I pray, Lord, that if there is any trauma, that is hiding in us. May you reveal it and by faith may we be healed and exonerated from it. If there is any past trauma from our childhood.

Father we table it before you and ask that your blood comes and wipe it all out and give us a clean slide. Father, may you use the things that we have gone through in life to find strength and wisdom through the authority of your word, your spirit, and your blood.

Father, I pray that while you are helping us in this area, give us strength to continue pressing forward towards the mark that is Christ Jesus. I pray, Lord, that in our efforts to do right in this kingdom, that may wisdom be our portion.

Help us to be wise in the midst of all this chaos. Help us to be strong when we are weak. Help us to be knowledgeable when we don't know which way to go. Where our courage ends, may we find strength in your presence.

Where our efforts run dry, may we find inspiration in your word. Father, I pray for this group of people that you have assembled for your glory.

That as we continue to come together, may the body of Christ continue to be revealed in all of us, in the things that we do, in our efforts to serve one another.

Lord, I pray that you are blessing us through the works of your hands. I pray, Lord, that you are blessing us in our efforts to be your servants. That while we do your work, help us in areas where we are lacking.

Help us, Lord, in areas that we need help. Send the angelic whenever strife rises up. And Father, I pray for this nation. Raise up leaders that care about spiritual things. Raise us up as a voice of reason in a very chaotic environment.

May we hold fast to the confession of our faith. And may we hold on to the statutes and values of this kingdom. May we be wise enough to see deception from afar. Because your word specifically tells us that before your return, deception is going to be rife.

And we see it, we know the enemy is running rampant, but God, I pray that none amongst us will be deceived in any way or find ourselves having been deceived. That's why we continue to pray for wisdom.

Open the eyes of our hearts so that we can have greater understanding of things as you continue to reveal them to us. And Father I pray that may we be still and patient where we seem to be hurried.

And I'm praying Lord that in this hour as you raise a whole incredible phenomenal church for the next generation we throw our names in the hat that God, may you bless us with an anointing to do that which you have called us to do.

An anointing that breaks yokes, an anointing that teaches the next generation, an anointing that subscribes to all the fullness of the kingdom's ethos.

I pray, Lord, that may we not grow weary in well-doing, that when our efforts run dry, inasmuch as angels came to attend to Jesus, send angels to attend to us.

Make yourself known to us. Make your presence known to us. If there are areas in our lives that we need to change, help us, Lord. We know change is a gift from you. If there are things that we need to address, give us courage, determination, and boldness, to address things.

If there are things that we can’t do for ourselves, send help. Send help in all kinds of ways. I pray, Lord, that may you provide for our needs according to your riches and glory. We know there are so many families who are struggling financially.

Because we just find ourselves in a season where this country is not doing well. But I pray that the peace of God that surpasses human understanding will guard our hearts in Christ Jesus.

That every need will be met according to your riches in glory, in the areas where we need financial blessings, send some, in the areas where we need to be a blessing to others, open our eyes to see those opportunities.

In areas, Lord, where we should be generous Father give us a soft heart, so that we can be generous on all occasions. I pray that God, as you continue to lead us, we are going to lean on you so strong.

We are going to look to the hill where our help comes from. We are going to stand on Christ, the solid rock, as we proclaim your faith, our faith. Father, anchor us in everything that we do.

Anchor our efforts, anchor our minds, anchor our thoughts. And I pray, Lord, that may this mind that was in Christ be in us also. Remove every idol in our life, be it positive or negative.

Remove it, for we want to be free of this world. As we continue to die to it, as our spirits continue to be accentuated in you. Now, as we go throughout this day, may we find your agenda in the earth that you have already executed to people who have already experienced this part of the day already.

May we fall in line to that which you are doing in the earth. May you use us as a remnant to continue to bring forth this kingdom. Give us words to speak to one another and give us words to encourage another so that they also can find themselves as part of this kingdom.

Open our eyes so that we are never blind to spiritual things. Open our mouth to speak truth where it is needed. I pray Lord, that as we go throughout this day, let your will on earth be done as it is in heaven.

Continue to lead us out of temptations. If we are tempted, may we use it as a moment to be holy. And I pray Lord that this day will be a wonderful, glorious day where we experience great and mighty things. We raise our expectations knowing, Lord, that You desire to hang with us.

You desire to be with us, You desire to counsel us, You desire to open our eyes to what it is that You are doing. And I pray, Lord, that as we go throughout this day, bless the works of our hands, bless the works of our hearts, and bless all our desires.

And may you continue to illuminate yourself in our lives so that we can grow in all things right. We bless you and honor you for every family that is represented here. And thank you for dying on the cross so that we can be a family of Christ.

We honor You and we love You, God, and help our fellowship and help our families in this time where we are in desperate need of you. And we pray this prayer in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen and Amen.

Brothers and sisters, as you go throughout today, pray for somebody. Call and encourage somebody. Don't be a stranger, reach out, inspire. When the Lord puts a person in your mind, reach out, text, encourage, inspire, call okay?

And may the Lord bless you and we will see you on Sunday for Bible study. If you are not able to join us, we'll be back here on Monday for another glorious week in the Lord. Let's all have an incredible, phenomenal day. We love you much.
