"Waiting On The Holy Spirit - Getting Our Hearts Ready for Pentecost"

"Matthew 28:19-20 - Go Therefore And Make Disciples Of All The Nations, Baptizing Them In The Name Of The Father, Son And The Holy Spirit"

Good morning, Saints. Let me read. The Psalms 92, the first 5 verses and begin by saying it is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord and to sing praises unto thy name, O most heathen.

To show thy loving kindness in the morning and thy faithfulness every night upon the instrument, our 10 strings, and upon the pauses upon the heart and a solemn For thou.

Lord hath made me glad through thou roots, I will triumph, and the works of thy hands. Oh, Lord, how great are thy words and that thoughts are very deep, Amen.

Thank you, Father God, when we read psalms, will we read scripture like there is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord.

And when we give thanks to the Lord, we connect ourselves to the Lord, and we thank God that we help him, that it's not all about us and not about man. It's about doing the Lord's work.

Let us pray, Our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Father, we thank you for keeping us as we slumber and slept last night. You watch over us and kept us safe and to this beautiful day. And as we thank you and ask you to grow us up in your word Father.

Father God because we need growing, we need your worry. We need your help. We want to do what is required of us Lord, forgive us about all our sin. Help us realize that we got to forgive others also but God be thankful for your word.

We get to love everybody. This is something that we are required to do every day. This is a command Father. So help us urge us, nudge us. Help us to us always pray for others as we pray for ourselves.

Never let us come complain or be selfish Father God for concerns you concern us and vice versa, Father and we thank you Father and you tell us always to pray and give thanks. And Father God this morning, as I present this message.

We're talking about the Holy Spirit. We're talking about Jesus resurrection. We're still coming off of Pentecost, and we thank you, Father, in Jesus name we pray, Amen.

After Jesus resurrections Jesus appeared to his disciples, reassuring them and preparing them for the mission ahead of them.

My lesson this morning you will hear the word mission a few other times because we are on a mission, we don't realize it, but we are assigned a mission and we want to know about that mission just saying, God, we're asking God.

Commune with the Holy Spirit and overcoming thou and feel he entrusted them with continue of his work.

So the Lord is entrusted us to do what he started, the commands came just before Jesus ascended into heaven, making it one of the last thing he instructed his disciples to do. The time indicates the importance of obedience to this mission.

Finished was the concluding command of the Earth, administer of Jesus. So we read here this time it indicate the importance to this mission.

So it's important our life important. We are not here just to be here for a season and do what we want to do and then go home and be with the Lord.

It doesn't work like that. God called us to spread the good news. So let us not delay or wait until next time. Like we will say I'm not ready, I can't do it. We are called immediate to share the message and live out our faith.

My scripture this morning is coming from Romans 28:19-20, but I'll start at verse18. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying all authority has been given to me in heaven and on Earth.

Go ye therefore and make disciples of all the nations that baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all the things that I have commanded you and love I am with you always, even to the end of age, Amen.

Romans 19 I'm going to start with Romans 28:19 begins with the word go. And this applies to all believers, not only the preacher, the pastor, the Bishop, the minister.

But to all believers, all us who say we are Christian and we believe, and all believers have the same right privileges, promises and provisions by equipment or service.

So all should help in every possible way to evangelize the world according to our ability and to the direction from God. And so we all have that right and nobody is exempt. It don't seem like it, but we are not exempt.

There is no excuse for millions of churches, nor most leaving this work only to a selected few. But we all need to seek, to obey the Great Commission.

The Great Commission Jesus charges his followers to make disciples of the nation by going to them, winning and baptizing them and teaching them to obey all that he has commanded.

Now let's look at what the Great Commandments is the great commandments are Matthew through the 22:33-40. And I'm just going to read the whole verses the Great Commandments.

Lead us to love God and to love our neighbors. And we love God we will obey his commands and pray to see the whole world worship him. And we love our neighbors we will want them to be saved.

We want them to enter eternal life. We will realize that this life is not all about us. We got to help others along the way to see Jesus. And some people would never see the inside of a church and they would tell us that. The reason is that they are looking at people and not the word of God.

But the scripture says go. You therefore teach in all nations and all nation and first of all that says go me for everybody, not just a selected few and teaching them to observe all things whatsoever.

I have commanded you that scripture already been given to us. So we know what to do. We know. It always there's our lesson plan, that’s our itinerary. That's our menu.

That's our program, that's our outline, everything that we need and those two scriptures and how are we going to do that it's the Holy Spirit.

And as we try to imitate Jesus comparison for others, we can because Jesus is our example. In Mark 6:34 shows that Jesus had compassion for the crowd. Who are like sheep not having this shepherd. He said in his Luke 19:20.

That he came to seek and save that which was lost. Our compassion should lead us to go to them and priest the gospel to the people who are lost.

The people who have never heard the word of God, and there are people who just ignore the word of God and people who don't even want to hear the word of God.

Romans 1:16 tells of us that I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, but it is the power of God to salvation, to everyone that believeth to the Jewish first and also the Greek. Romans 10:13 tells us, both whosoever shall call upon the name of The Lord, shall be saved.

Christ called every Christian to go into the world and teach the people to observe all things that he has commanded. Saints we live in a mega world. 1000 Peoples and 1,000,000 people.

That leaves the gospel and we already have been equipped with the Holy Spirit to do the work. But are we ready to do it? Will we do it? God words tell us, the Great Commandments tell us. The Bible teaches us that all have a role in cognition.

Either we are goers or we are doers. Neither is more physical than the other, and neither is possible without the other. And Romans 10:14-15, say, how then shall they call on him and whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him, whom they have not heard.

And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach a self. How shall they preach as? How shall they be sent? As it is written how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the Gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things.

And teaching Jesus give his followers clear instructions on how they are to carry on his work after his resurrection. He said go therefore emphasize the active role that we are. Say that we are to kill others, but it takes faith.

It’s over in short. Do we really, really believe that we are supposed to be spreading the gospel? Jesus said go into all the world. He didn't select different races of people of different nationalities. He said going to all of the world and teach.

So that's what we're supposed to do. This is a commandment from God. A lot of things we don't know, we're supposed to be doing, but this, we suppose. And not just the leaders, not just that we believe, but that we are called to take these beliefs into the world and share them with those who do not know Christ.

And like I said before, some people don't even know God, they don't want to know him. They think they're too busy doing what they want to do, all the world. But this world is going to come to an end one day.

When we leave, we realize that we know that it's our job to tell people we can't make anybody except Jesus. But we can tell them we can give them the opportunity because they have the opportunity they might say yes.

And most Christians, I'm very familiar with Matthew the 28:18-20 because we have heard in the church, but we didn't get the revelation. And the revelation is this is the command from command for us.

This is not just for the disciple in Jesus time, but it is extended to all of us who believe today. Sometimes when we go to church and we hear the word taught and preach.

Whether Old Testament or New Testament, even in New Testament where we knew that would win 1000 thousand years ago, but we relieved that it was at that time.

But really it's about us. So once again, it's not just for disciples and Jesus time, but it's extended to all of us believers today. So we are called to be active participants in spreading the gospel in our family workplace, our communities.

So once again, we do not have an excuse now that we know that this is a great command. If it didn't need to be done, Jesus would never have told us. And every believer has a role to play in building the Kingdom of God. We all, we all should be working together.

We all should be spreading the good news. But yes, it's still been there it is and we have been taught since our youth as a child. We don't know that we really don't know what we should be doing and it's all about spreading good news.

That's what it's all about. Community everywhere we go, everywhere we go and send people into our lives and sometimes we don't even realize why they are there. They are there for us to help them.

They are there for us to give them the good news about Jesus. So we all have a role. Nobody exempt. We are not to keep our relief to ourselves, but instead share the hope we find in Jesus with others.

So we always supposed to be sharing we all in it and you realize that it's like the good news. Everything that we sell about Jesus is the good news, when we talk to other about Jesus. We have nothing negative shape but it's always about the good news.

This really caused us to get out of our comfort zone and it do. I mean it will pull us way outside our comfort zone to go out and minister to others about the good news. So let me ask myself. Yeah, I'll try my best to get out of my comfort zone.

What are you trying to do and this is a command from God. This is the one that has the right to judge us and he will. And when he asks us, what have we done for the Kingdom? What are we going to tell him?

Yes, we do a lot of little things, but this is the Great Commission going into all the world. So ask the Holy Spirit to give us strength and boldness to be a witness. Ask him to grant us confidence to share our faith with others and how do we do that?

How do we go into all the world and teach? I have the answer in John 8:28. Then Jesus said unto them. When you have lifted up the son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I am I do nothing by myself.

But as my Father has taught me, I speak these things. So what did this versus say? Jesus says I do nothing of myself. So when they make us look like we try to do things on our own, especially when it comes to the gospel, so be like Jesus don't do it ourselves.

Ask the Holy Spirit and he said once again, but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things. In other words, we are not speaking of our selves, our accomplishment, our success, our money, our jobs, but we are sharing the good news about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We are spreading the good news and the good word. So in John 8:28 tells us a lot, Jesus said he doing nothing on his own and that's why we had the Holy Spirit by the Holy Spirit will help us, but we got to connect to him and we got to have that desire and we got to want to and Jesus will help us.

And so there's enough in the Bible for us to live forever until our days have ended. Let me say that again, there is enough in the Bible for us to live forever until our days shall end. We will never run out anything information in the Bible.

Oh, question Lord, what should I be doing? How should I do this? We'll never fall short. Never, ever and the word of God prepares us. We don't have to do anything on our own. We have the Holy Spirit for our helper.

The Lord had given us the Holy Spirit. He didn't leave us. He did not leave us. He did not leave anybody. But we got to seek him. We are our we are on a mission as the leaders, we don't even realize it.

We don't realize what we're supposed to be doing. You know, it would be amazing if we could see ourselves and we just step out ourselves and turn around and look and we see we're supposed to be missionary.

We'll see that we're supposed to be these spreading the good news about Jesus Christ. And that we are not doing it. Yes, we do have a lot of people do it, but what about those millions and millions of people that aren't?

And what about this few that when we sell a few, a few millions and millions and millions, now this world is over eight 7.5 billion people somewhere right in there. Anyway, that's what we're supposed to be busy doing as we live our lives.

But are we talking about the good news of Jesus? Are we trying to win souls for Christ, are we? Are we communicating with the Holy Spirit daily? Are we doing this? This is the only way we're going to do other scripture this morning. Matthew 28:18-20 That's the only way.

That's the only way and this is what we got to do if we want to make it in, we can't leave other people out. We might say, well, that person don't like me or I might not care for that person.

Yeah, but we got to go back to love. We got to do that and let me read my scripture over here for my sakes too. 7 verse 18 and Jesus came and spoke to them, saying all authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

Jesus got all the authority you know sometimes we water down words, but Jesus got all authority and I know we know that. But we got to go to him and we got to sit at his feet and we got to understand the verse 19 say go therefore and make disciples of all nations.

Baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son excuse me and of the Holy Spirit. So we got work to be done. He said go therefore and make disciples of all nations, all peoples, all citizens.

Wherever they might be. Like I said, God put peoples in our lives and we shall ask God every day. Lord who you have you want me to minister to? You know, we might ask them today and the person might be in our life tomorrow, but next week we don't know.

But we got the ask, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, even until the end of age and end by saying Amen. And so, God, he always with us, he always with us, but we giving the fashion where we want to see people.

We want to commit to a human being. But God is not a human being, He is a spirit. He is a holy God. He is a great God. He is a powerful God, so we can connect with him and his spirit, and he lead and guide us and let us not forget who our the helper is.

God sent us a helper, and we cannot do without that helper. Thank you, Amen. Let’s pray. Father God, we thank you for this time spent with you, Father God. Father God in my message I say the Bible is full of information that we will never do without.

That we'll never get lonely. That we will never come up short. You gave this Bible to us. You gave us your word. You gave us the Holy Spirit.

So we are never alone. We might get lonely sometimes, but we are never alone because we can always connect to the Holy Spirit. And we thank you, Father God, for telling us what we need to do. It's in your word it's plain if we don't know, open the Bible.

Start to read. Start to meditating as the Holy Spirit or connect with the Christian community Christian believers are the faith. Father God you have made a way for us and we thank you, Father.

We thank you, Father God, that you help all authorities and Father God, we thank you that you let us know your authority in Jesus name. Father God, we thank you that you wish that none of us be lost Father.

Father God give us the heart and mind the wish and pray that none are lost. None are left behind. And Father God, as we teach others about the good news of Jesus, we teach the others by just show them how to grow in your word, Father.

Because we all need growing as we teach others, Father. God, we grow out ourselves and we thank you, Father. We thank you for speaking to us every day. We thank you Father that want to be spoken to.

We thank you, Father God, that we want information from you and Father, God, we just thank you for the people that you put in our lives. We thank you, Father God, that we will build a Christian community to Father God.

We thank you, Father God, that we have your heart, Father. Father God, we want your heart. And the only way we can live in this life is with your heart is we love you and love others. Father God, we thank you again for your worries and Father God as we go about this day.

Father God, we ask you to keep us from all hurt, harm and danger, keep us sound. Carry us to and fro Father and Father God, keep us not just how we can do the things that we would like to do so we can be messenger for you so we can be used by you in Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Now Saints we thank the Lord that this is a beautiful day, it is because he made this day. He made every day. He made every day and let us look at it like that. And let us ask the Lord that we want to be disciples of his.

We want to tell the good news to people. Ask the Lord the holy boldness and he would give it to us, but we have to work at it. And we can't think about ourselves. We have to think of the Lord. So Saints have a wonderful, blessed day in the Lord, in Jesus name, Amen.
