"Waiting On The Holy Spirit - Getting Our Hearts Ready for Pentecost"

"Isaiah 59:19-21 - Redeemer Of Zion "

A very good morning to you everybody. I hope you had a wonderful evening and a great night. Well rested ready for Friday. Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Father, we come before you today. We thank you for your goodness.

And we thank you for your mercy, as we come before you, Lord, we are aware of the environment that we exist in and we are aware of the challenges that comes to impede us in our journey of salvation.

But more so, we are aware of how powerful and how your authority works. So Father today as we commit this time, this moment to you. We are praying, Lord, that as we read scriptures.

That may enlighten us of the things that you want us to improve on, to get better in. So that we, as your children, continue to exercise dominion and authority that you have given us. So that we can subject the enemy around us to the power of your Kingdom.

Father, we thank you for discovering that as we continue to come together in faith. That as we continue to believe together in faith. May you, by your spirit, continue Lord to enhance the things that we do individually and also the things that we do together.

May our fellowship be filled with your spirit knowing Lord that it is the power that gives us faith, hope, love, strength in moments of weaknesses. So Father today as we look into this word bless us mightily.

We thank you for your Grace, but thank you, Lord, for all that you have done and what, you're still going to do. Thank you for redeeming us from the curse of the law. Even though we are crucified with you, yet we still but live.

To exercise the full measure of the authority of your Kingdom. So bless us, Lord, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen. We are in Isaiah 59:19 it says so shall they fear.

The name of the Lord from the West and his glory from the rising of the sun. And then says when the enemy comes in like a flood. The spirit of the Lord, will lift up a standard against you.

When the enemy comes in like a flood the spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. The Redeemer will come to Zion and to those who turn from their transgressions in Jacob says the Lord. When the spirit of the Lord, when the enemy comes in like a flood.

The spirit of the Lord, the spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against you, brothers and sisters my prayer during the course of this season we are in here. Like I said yesterday is to carry a full scope of how incredibly powerful the spirit of God is.

The Holy Spirit because I want our understanding of who he is, what he is capable of doing. Be so we want our understanding to grow so much so that the things that we either fear or the things that we either encounter.

Will stop having any kind of threat because of the knowledge that we have of the Holy Spirit. The scripture says my people perish because they lack knowledge. And I believe that knowledge is the knowledge of what God has put in place.

To make sure that our lives are enhanced and successful and that we live in victory. Now the analogy that's being used in this particular scripture is so strong. I'm sure in this lifetime we all have seen floods.

Either in person or we've seen floods taking place somewhere in the world. And we have seen how they disperse people or literally destroy a whole entire city. That's what a flood looks like.

It has no mercy there's a flood that recently happened in Zimbabwe a year ago. It literally destroyed an entire village that, up to now, they still cannot find people. A community of over 4000 people.

Half of them are still missing up to now because of floods. And now the scripture is saying when the enemy comes in like that means he is throwing everything at you or at us. Says when the enemy comes in like a flood with no warning.

Heavy torrential rain just pulls out and all of a sudden it floods. Sweeping everything away. Scripture is saying when the enemy comes in like that the spirit of God. This spirit, the Holy Spirit will raise up a standard.

In other words the spirit of God is able and is more than capable of matching anything the enemy will ever throw at you and I. There is absolutely nothing the enemy can throw at us that the spirit of God is not capable of raising up a standard.

Now, when we studied the love of Christ, Jesus Christ. The day he is born from that day onwards he is born. The spirit of Antichrist arises in our world. And during his time during his birth it shows up in a man called Harold.

We desire to kill Jesus to an extent where he killed babies hoping that one of these will be him. And throughout history, you see the enemy coming in like a flood.

This spirit of Antichrist has always been trying to come in like a flood and it has showed up in our world in so many different time zones and eras to different men or through different agendas.

And when we read 2 Thessalonians. 2 Thessalonians tells us that the Holy Spirit is holding at bay the spirit of Antichrist so that he doesn't have his own way.

And during the time is revealed for him to be destroyed. So if we know that, then this scripture becomes more projected or more clear to us. That if the Holy Spirit is holding at bay the spirit of Antichrist.

To make sure he doesn't have his way before the time he needs to be destroyed is come. It then simply implies that every time the enemy shows in. The Holy Spirit will raise their standards against him.

And you've heard me say this over and over and over again. That you and I we are the standard that God has raised in our generation. Because the scripture says the Holy Spirit, the your body is the what the temple of the Holy Spirit.

So which means that if the Holy Spirit, if your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and when the enemy comes in like a flood. The temple where the Holy Spirit resides, then he has to rise up.

As a standard to match what's being thrown at us. Now I want us to keep this in mind because we have a tendency that when the enemy comes in or something happens to us we are so quick to either run or to either find somebody.

Which I encourage you to do but before we get to finding or to looking for somebody, I want you to know. That you are the first line of defense, and if the Holy Spirit is with you. The scripture is telling us that he is going to raise a standard in you, against the devil.

Now that's so powerful knowing that God is the Holy Spirit is able to rise up to a whole totally different level altogether to make whatever the enemy is throwing at us. So you and I are standard.

Now, as we are speaking, brothers and sisters. We I want us to realize that standards are everywhere. The standards of cars. If you driver Toyota, it's not the same thing as a Mercedes-Benz.

The standards in flying economy first class. The standards in everything that we do there is standards. There is standards of prayer, the standard of reading scriptures, the standards of worship.

Remember, I always say it's not how much. It's not whether you should read your scripture or not. It's more of how deep do you really actually want to go that's a standard. There's standard in worship.

There's thundered in prayer. So when the spirit of God is raising a standard, that means he is going and rank above what is normal. So when we see the enemy coming in like a flood. The first thing that we should all automatically realize is that oh, God is about to raise his standard.

God is about to raise his standard. So in other words, when we look around and see all the stuff that's going on in our country. We should automatically know you and I as believers that God is raising a standard.

God is raising the standard. The challenge is that sometimes when we don't see it or know it. We end up thinking that it's not happening. Until you really look deep and you realize, man, there is a remnant out there that God is raising up.

That sometimes it seems like it's not there, but the scripture says the Holy Spirit when it comes the spirit, the wind of God. You want no where it's coming from. You can point to where it is coming from, but you know it's there.

So God is raising his standard right now. When it gets worse, he raises the standard. Jesus showed us what God's standard is. Everything that Jesus was doing, he was showing us how we can raise the standard.

The standard of fasting. Standard of prayer, the standard of communicating. When the disciples were trying to cast out the devil in that boy and they couldn't do and then Jesus comes and says this kind comes out by prayer and fasting.

Were these guys not praying. They were praying. But Jesus saying there's a whole different standard that you have to go to in order to deal with this. When the enemy comes in like a flood guard himself who raises standard.

To match the rank, which means that you and I. We have to understand that this is why sometimes when we confront things or issues that we know are plaguing us or things that we need to deal with and we face resistance.

It does not mean that God does not want. It means that sometimes you and I, we have to allow God to raise a standard in us so that we can come back and mature rank for rank. So as we interact and as we learn about the Holy Spirit and prepare ourselves.

The understanding should be that things are getting worse in our country and in our world. The enemy is coming in like a flood. And the spirit of God is raising a standard. And one of the telltale signs that God is raising his standard is when we start doing things that we have never done before.

We are all gathering on June 8th Pentacle Sunday. We have never done that before. It's not just an event, it's not just a coming together of fellowship. We've never done that before, but we're doing it now because now God is raising a standard.

We are going in a step higher than we have ever gone before. And why is that happening so that we can deal with what the enemy has thrown in as a flood. So every time you start doing things or you start seeing things that you have never seen before.

Or your spirit starts pulling you to do things you have never done before. God is raising a standard. This is why you see, I'm always saying no, we're going to, you're going to teach. You're going to preach.

You're going to do whatever that needs to be done. Why is because if the world is spirit is in you. Only one way up, you can't remain the same. Because God has to raise a standard when the enemy comes in like a flood. And we know he has come in like a flood.

So which means that that is raising the standard. So you and I in our quest to exercise what God has put in our spirit to exercise. We need, you need, I need to start doing things that we have never done before.

Not because we're doing it out of our desire, because we know the spirit is now pushing us and pulling us to do to be a standard. That's what the scripture says when the enemy comes in like a flood God himself will raise a standard.

That's what we want. That's what we should see and that's what we should desire. Because it is a promise that is given to us by our Father that anytime you see the enemy comes in, coming in like a flood, I'm going to raise the my spirit.

The Holy Spirit is going to raise a standard. This is how we grow once you've been with the spirit, there's certain things that you cannot unsee, and the certain experiences with the Holy Spirit that you cannot forget.

And that becomes a standard. The day that you lay your hands on somebody and they get healed immediately. That particular day your standard of belief in what God can do is raised up.

And you cannot unsee that now that you can know and experience that which means for the rest of your life and your existence. When you lay your hands on anybody else. Something in you says you have to believe that this can happen right now.

The standards of faith, standard of belief. So as we see challenges and as you see the enemy throwing everything. We should automatically know that on the other side the Holy Spirit is raising a standard.

We might not see it, but it is there. You may think, yeah, it's just me, alone and nobody's praying until you realize there's a remnant all over the world that God is raising up. That possesses incredible desires and passion for the Lord, Amen. Let us pray.

Heavenly father, we believe in you. We believe in the things we have put in place. So that our journey of faith is made easy. We see the world around us deteriorating every single day, and it seems like the enemy is having a field day.

That according to the word of God is telling us how your spirit raises up standards to defeat whatever that the enemy is throwing. And Father, we believe that we are participants in how you are raising up sons and daughters all across this world.

To raise the standard of authority through the spirit of God. So I pray, Lord, that may you transform the way we think when we see the enemy come in like a flood. Our tendencies, Lord, is to see and to look at the bad and accentuated.

Rather than look at how you have set it up. That the Holy Spirit is accentuated in us in difficult times. So I pray, Lord that we want to be part of the number that you use. As the enemy is raising up chaos around us. Raise us up as part of a generation that will stand for what is right.

May we be strong in our faith. So that your spirit in us, the Holy Spirit in us is accentuated. But above all that the enemy will yield to the authority of the Holy Spirit. I pray for every family with all that is in the background. With the things that the enemy sometimes throw at us.

That may we by your spirit rise up. Because the whole is free, that is in us is raising us up as a standard to all those challenges. Open our eyes, open our ears, open our hearts to see the truth.

That you have set in motion for us so that we can become victorious. We are living Lord in diabolic times where we are hearing things that are despicable. That we cannot even fathom.

Our world is in turmoil, our country is in desperate need of saving with men and women who don't care about spiritual things. Who have evil intentions to destroy humanity that which you created.

We see the enemy having a field day in America. We have horrendous leadership in almost every sphere of industry and government. And our hearts are crying out for help but you Lord you have promised us in the word.

That when we see things like that, when we see this flood come in, that you are going to raise up a standard. So, Father, I'm praying, Lord, that we want to be part of the number of the standard that you raise up to defeat the enemy.

Help us in these times of need. Father, I pray that may it be a constant reminder of how you have said it all up. So that we will never run. Being afraid or unaware of what you have put in place for us to be victorious. Help us to have clear understanding and knowledge of how your spirit works.

May you continue to transform us in our efforts to pray in our efforts to fellowship in our efforts, Lords to come together. In our efforts of reading scriptures. Father help us to see the standard which you desire for us to rise to.

We don't want to be the same people doing the same things we have done over and over again, but God, we are praying for higher heights. Different dimensions of prayer, different dimensions of fasting.

Different dimensions of thinking and understanding of this word and scriptures. Different dimensions of encounters with the Holy Spirit. So that our faith is freshened up and that, our beliefs are enhanced.

That the level of authority that will work in is not the same as last year or the previous years, but knowing now that we are growing to be the standard that you are raising in these treacherous times.

Lord, I pray for every single one of us. When you continue to quicken our steps. Pray for visitations in quiet times. That Lord as we pray you know, all little corners. God visit us and let your spirit be so strong around us.

But we want to see him touching, spilling in the name of Jesus. Help our unbelief and raise us up is the standard. The antidotes to all these challenges that we see. Give us the ability to speak up. The correction is needed. Lord do we need you.

The church needs you. We are desperate for you because there are things that are happening around us that we have no solutions for other than to look to you. So we're looking up to you, Lord.

Lord we are asking you by your spirits to now transform us and help us to see that which you are doing. So that our knowledge of scripture and of your spirit is enhanced as we see this flood coming. We continue to pray for healing of the heart, healing of the mind, healing of the soul in all of us.

Help us to have pure hearts and pure hands so we can ascend to the hill of the Lord. We are believing you for greater. We'll believing you for greater. So we thank you God in all that you are doing in us and through us.

We ask for more. We ask for more and we ask you, Lord by your spirit to now govern every step that we take. Enlighten our eyes so we can see clearly. Broaden our shoulders so that our capacity to receive is enhanced.

We will continue studying Scripture in growing. So that our understanding and knowledge and wisdom of this Kingdom is immersed in us. Thank you for putting pins in place so that our pathway to victory is made easy.

Bless all of us. Less families, less children, less workplaces, less the works of our hands. Bless the works of the one who send us. May we raise up for this generation. Now as we go through this day.

Lead us not into temptation, deliver us from the evil one. As we race throughout this weekend. Helpless Lord, help us in our understanding. Transform us in the way we believe and we will forever grateful, knowing that all glory belongs to you.

So we bless you and honor you and we bless every family represented here in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen. Brothers and sisters as we go throughout this day and for the rest of our lives.

I want us to constantly believe that God's desire is to grow us up, to mature us u, to your full knowledge of the mysteries of this Kingdom. So that we are constantly being grown by his spirit that you and I will always be the standard that God raises when challenges arise.

May the Lord bless you in all that you do. We'll see you Sunday for Bible study and if you won’t be on Bible study, we'll see you on Monday, for early morning devotion.
