The Qualities Of God As Revealed In His Names

"El OLAM - Everlasting God"

A very good morning to you everybody. I hope you had a wonderful evening well rested, ready for another day. Let us pray. Heavenly Father, we bless your wonderful name. We thank you for your grace.

We thank you for this day that you have made. We are rejoicing in it and we are glad in it. We thank you that new mercies every morning await for us. For this moment that we dedicate to you that we devote to you.

We devote within our understanding that you desire to fellowship with us and we desire to fellowship with you.

So I we pray, Lord, that our times with you and our times with one another are filled with love, your spirit, your grace, your strength, your wisdom, your authority, your understanding, your knowledge.

We thank you Lord that you are growing this with the desire to make us efficient in our ways as we live in this Kingdom. We know, Lord, that we are carrying the Kingdom of God in our hearts.

So our goal is to continue to understand it and to grow in the knowledge of it so that what we do is bless what we do is anointed. And what we do will continue to effect the change that you desire to see in this world.

So I pray, Lord, that as we do what we do continue Lord to bless us with wisdom above all else, give us wisdom for we are living in dark times and we are so desperate for you and so desperate for the Holy Spirit to continue speaking to us.

So that our ways and our paths are made much clearer. So, Father, as we look at the words this morning help us and grow us and we bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ , Amen.

Brothers and sisters, we are looking at the names of God because we desire to grow in the knowledge of who he is, he is our Father and he possesses incredible qualities that we need to understand and to know.

So that we can grow and mature in the knowledge of who he is. Remember, the Bible was written as a book to self disclose who God is to his children. So the knowledge that we have of God.

We find it through the whole scripture and through the Holy Spirit, interpreting the Holy Scripture. Jesus came So that we can know the Father above along with salvation and all that he came to accomplish. But he came so that he can reveal the Father.

So our job as much as we do all the other things pertaining to our faith. It comes down to us knowing the Father, his qualities, his attributes. So that we can relate with him the best way he wants to relate.

He wants us to relate to him as you read Scripture, you understand that God has given us ways to pray. He has given us methods to worship. He tells us how he wants to be worshipped.

Enter my gates with thanksgiving, he tells us he must worship me in spirit and in truth, right. And it tells us how to pray. When you pray, pray this Our Father, who art in heaven.

So all these methods and things that is telling us is so that you and I can have a great relationship with him. So he never leaves us hanging, trying to figure things out.

He makes sure that we have the knowledge and information that we need to relate with him and to have a greater understanding of who he is to us.

So today we are looking at God's names El Olam spelled El Olam and we find this referencing Psalms 90:2 and this is what it simply says before the mountains were born.

Before you had formed the Earth and the world from eternity past to eternity future. You are God. You are God. Before the world was formed. Before anything existed, He was God. What was he doing? We don't know.

We don't have that information, but he was there before the after the Earth passes away, he is God so the interpretation of that El Olam, El Olam is everlasting God. That God is everlasting.

Now, if something is everlasting it means that it's eternal and cannot be bound by time. God cannot be bound by time. Time was given to us, so we can locate where we are and what year we are and what needs to happen.

It was given to us so we can relate properly with him. So that when he says the fullness of time, we have a clear understanding. But he himself, God himself cannot be bound with or governed with our thoughts, or the things that we do because he exists outside of time.

So the qualities of everlasting God are eternal. That's a defining character of who God is, that he is eternal. He is not bound, he never dies is no beginning and no end, he’s always existed through all eternity.

So which means that God is outside of space and time, not limited by the constraints that constrained creation. It does not change. He’s always stable and reliable. He’s omnipotent or powerful, unlimited power can do anything anywhere, anytime.

It's when you actually stop and think about this because you realize that's incredibly  unbelievable if we can join those two words together. That God cannot be stopped. He can do anything anywhere, anytime.

God knows everything including the past, the present and the future. You know that history that was never put in the book. Things that people thought they were not needed or necessary. He knows all that and God is so phenomenal.

That's why the scripture says truth never dies. The reason why truth never dies is because he holds all truth. He knows everything. So if he knows everything, there is nothing that can be hidden or that could never be revealed.

He knows it all. God is everywhere. He is present everywhere. Even the places that we think he’s not present, he is present. Every single person is under the eye of God because he is everywhere, he is not limited or bound by geography.

God is supreme and in control of all creation. His purpose for humanity and creation and what it is cannot be thwarted, cannot be pushed aside. That's who he is so sovereign above everything above every Kingdom that man ever existed or created.

And one of these are the attributes of everlasting by the way. This is what is to describe the name El Olam everlasting God. He’s holy and perfect. He is separate from all moral to defilement and is perfect.

Morality as we know it there's not governing God because he is some torter of all moral functions. So when we say you are everlasting God, we are invoking these qualities. Now this is why our faith is so incredible.

Because if you look and tracks other religions and the other gods they worship. You cannot say this about their gods. If you want to worship, you want to worship something that is everlasting, that never changes.

It's always the same. Incredible consistency. And God is all moral, everlasting. Yesterday, today, tomorrow, everlasting. 2000 years ago, he was the same, 2000 years later, he will be the same and he will be everywhere, that's remarkable.

So understanding this, you know, sometimes when we question God. Most times is because we don't have a greater understanding of who he is. When we ask questions, when people ask questions. If he is God, then why does he allow?

Now our interaction with him, knowing that he is everlasting, he then recognized that his love cause what I get from reading and seeing all this is that if he knows everything and he if he is aware of everything.

Then man his love for us is unbelievable. Because if he is aware of the things that maybe just you know. Things that you might have done. Things that other people have done and are kept in secret.

And yet he still let us live the thoughts that are that comes through our heads sometimes. If he knows that and he sees everything, and somehow in his wisdom and in his love for us he still let us live. Not judges, no just come and swallow all of us.

Just because of thoughts, just thoughts. When you think about what people do and he still let them live is love, is unbelievable. That's what I get that if he is everlasting, all knowing that things that we've done in secret.

That people some think, man, nobody will ever find out. But yet he knows it all, but still he let us leave because he loves us. Man that's unbelievable. So for you and I we need to keep this in front of us because when we pray we have an assurance.

That we are not praying to someone who might be asleep or forgetting some things or is tired. That we are praying to somebody who is all authority and all power everywhere. He sees everything yet this same God is a desire to fellowship with you and I.

What a mighty God we serve. What an incredibly everlasting God, we say my prayer is that these names that we are studying are comforting to our faith, comforting our spirits. So that our understanding and our relationship with him as we relate with this world.

Becomes much easier, clearer because we know who the Father is. Knowing who the Father is, that's what we want to know that this is our God. We can define him and we can share his attributes. The scripture says my people perish because they lack knowledge.

We want to have knowledge of who God is. So that our position can be strengthened so that when we kneel to pray, we are empowered by the knowledge that we have of who he is. That my friend Jesus, strength and power to not perish that knowledge.

So this says we lack knowledge. What knowledge are we lacking of spiritual things? So let us grow this month, we're going to grow in the knowledge of who God is. Let this spirit explain and interpret the words that you read about God.

Says who knows the mind of God except the spirit of the thing and the Holy Spirit knows the mind of God, and he explains his qualities to you and I to further develop and grow our faith.

So we can stand and carry this Kingdom with full strength and full measure of power. Knowing who is behind us. Incredibly comforting knowing that we serve and everlasting God, Amen, Amen. Let us pray.

Heavenly Father we are humbled by who you are. We have seen what you can do and you continue to reveal yourself to us. And our desire as your children is to grow in the knowledge of who you are.

So that as we interact with the challenges that we see and face. That we are comforted with the idea that, if we can see it, you can see it better. If we know it, you know it better. So in our efforts to do what you have called us to do and to be what you have called us to be.

We pray, Lord, that in our quest of information, knowledge and wisdom. May we grow in the knowledge of who you are. Everlasting God, Holy Father present everywhere. You know our ways, you know, when we sit, we know when we stand.

Where can we go that your presence is not there? We go to the depth of the oceans, we find you there. We may lay our bed in the sand, we find you there. Such is your awareness of our world, every square inch in your view, every heart and every mind accounted for. Thoughts that are made in the dark containing humanity you are present.

Yet in your wisdom, you show us love by letting us live so that one day we can encounter salvation. Father, I pray for strength and wisdom to grow in us as we study these scriptures in great understanding of who you are.

I pray Lord for the times that we find ourselves in, knowing that in spite of what we see and what we hear, you have equipped us to live in this generation with all the tools and everything that we need to succeed.

Physically, emotionally, spiritually, that there is nothing that is taking place in 21st century that you haven't equipped us with strength and wisdom to stand. We had to be born in this era cause we had all it takes in us to be born in this era.

And your name is the anchor of all that we face and deal with. Heavenly Father continue to bless us in our quest to be in this Kingdom. Let holiness be part of our attributes that wisdom guide us in our steps.

Father how great is your name, how wonderful are your deeds. You are an everlasting Father, all knowing, all present. So we thank you, we continue to yield to you because of the knowledge that we have of you.

So I pray for every challenge that we might be facing individually or corporately or as a nation. We know you are aware of it. We know, you see it, I pray Lord that may you by your spirit continue to help us to deal with those things that come our way.

You have raised us as a standard and Father, may we continue to take our place in this Kingdom proclaiming this gospel. So that somebody somewhere gets saved and find themselves on the path to heaven.

Father, I pray that none amongst us is sick, that no diseases will plague our bodies. I pray for strength for our seniors. Healing of the mind, rest for our seniors. That these later days of their lives will be filled with glory, joy and may they show us the experience of walking with God in faith.

So we thank you God. We thank you. We thank you. We thank you. Now, as we commit this day that you have given us, as we committed back to you. You know you have ideas for this day. You have revelation for this day. May you open our eyes and our minds.

So that as we walk in this day that we are guided. Governed by your spirit for he knows what you have set as an agenda for the 17th of June 2025. May we not be alarmed by what we hear.

But be strengthened, knowing that everything in this world exists in the palm of your head. So bless us as a family. Bless us with ideas that continue to guide us in all things true and right. We will not want for anything as we continue to put our trust in you.

Knowing that if you can feed a sparrow of the air, what more can you do for us? So I pray and rest in you that God, as we continue on this journey, continue to bless us. Those who are in need of healing, bless them, those who are in need of strength provide it.

Those who are in need of wisdom, help them solve complex problems. Those who are desperate for love, send angels and assignment. We bless you, we commit our children as usual to you.

May your spirit continue to govern them. Visit them in the night time. Holy Spirit, make yourselves so strong and make yourself known to them. We bless you and honor you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Now lead us not into temptation but continue to deliver us from the evil one. For thine is the Kingdom, the power and the glory forever and ever, Amen. Brothers and sisters go in peace, enjoy this day.

May the Lord bless you. May you open your eyes, your soul to continue receiving  who he is so that we can grow as we handle holy things. Have an awesome day, and we shall see you tomorrow.
