The Qualities Of God As Revealed In His Names

"Revelation 22:12-14 Alpha And Omega"

Good morning, and good morning to you, everybody. I hope you had a wonderful night, well rested, ready for another exciting day. Let us pray. This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it, Christ, as redeemed us from the curse of the law.  

We are crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, we leave not yet us, but Christ lives by faith in us. His word dwells in us richly. We are able to say we are blessed, we are healed, we are set free. Sickness cannot dwell in us. The number of our days he will fulfill.  

Sin will not dominate us because the seed of God's word lives us. We believe that Jesus Christ came and died on the cross, and we now have this abandoned life in the victory that He provides. No, we are performed against the shall prosper.  

We are more than conquerors because of His great love. Greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world. We can do all things through Christ's strength in us as the redeemed of the Lord, who stand and say so that we are the righteousness of Christ.  

God has sent His Son to make us right with Him, so that we have a place in His kingdom. So, Father, for the rest of our days, we want to honor, love, we want to cherish what He did on the cross, so that we can find salvation in its fullness.  

So, thank you for choosing us. Thank you for loving us. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of the Holy Spirit, that has been instilled in our hearts and souls to bring us back to that glory place. And, Father, we thank you that you have given us names, after names, in order for us to call on you in every situation and in every challenge that will ever come our way.  

So, Father, this morning, as we look at this world, we bless you and we honor you and we thank you for all that you have done and we are just still going to do in Jesus' name we pray, Amen.  

Well, brothers and sisters, today we conclude the series of the names of God, but the instruction from Pastor Zee is that let's keep studying, let's keep going through these names because there's a reason why God gave us these names because His name is a strong tower.  

It's a hiding place for you and His names are a hiding place for you and I. That's where we find safety, that's where we find peace. So, let's continue looking at these names, let's continue starting them for God is good.  

So, today the name of God we are going to look at is the Alpha in the Omega. And today what I want to do is I just want to read Revelation 22 for all of us and then we can just go and recap these names and pray.  

So, Revelation chapter 22, I'm going to start from this one. Then the angel showed me a river of the water of life as clear as crystal flowing from the throne of God and of the lamp down the middle of the main stretch of the sea.  

On the other side of the river on either side of the river stood a tree of life, there in 12 kinds of fruit and yielding a fresh crop for each month and the leaves of the three are for the healing of the nations.  

No longer will there be any curse, the throne of God and of the lamp will be within the city and his servants will worship him. They will see his face and his name will be on their foreheads.  

There will be no more night in the city, there will have no need for the light of the lamp of the sun, for the Lord God will shine on them and they will reign forever and ever. What an incredible picture.  

Then the angel said to me, these words are faithful and true. The Lord, the God of the streets of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place. Behold, I am coming soon.  

Blessed is the one who keeps the words of prophecy in this book. So the moment you keep the words of this prophecy in this book, blessed is the one who keeps it. And I and John will heard and saw these things.  

When I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who has shown me these things. He said to me, these things, but he said to me, do not do that, I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers and prophets and who are those who keep the word of the book worship God.  

Then he told me, do not fill up the words of the prophecy in this book because the time is near. Let the unrighteous continue to be unrighteous and the vile continue to be vile. Let the righteous continue to practice righteousness and the holy continue to be holy.  

So there is an incredible instruction there when we start getting affected by what we see and what is going on because the prophecy says, let the ungodly continue to be ungodly. Let the unrighteous continue to be unrighteous. and the vile continue to be viled.  

Let the righteous continue to practice righteousness and the holy continue to be holy. Behold, I am coming soon. My reward is with me to give to each one according to what he has done. Here comes the name verse 18. I am the Alpha and Omega.  

The first and the last, the beginning and the end. Blessed are those who wash their robes so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by its gates. But outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the special immoral, the murderers, idolaters, everyone who loves and practice falsehoods.  

I Jesus, I have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright morning star, the spirit and the bride says come. Let the one who hears say is come and let the one who is thirsty come and let the one who desires the water of life drink freely.  

I testify to everyone who hears these words of prophecy in this book. If anyone adds to them, God who adds to him the flags described in this book. And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and the holy city.  

Which I described in this book. He would testify to this thing say yes, I am coming soon. Amen come Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints, Amen. I am the Alpha in the Omega, the first and the last.  

There is no one in between it’s God and God alone. Brothers and sisters, one of the incredible phenomena blessings of being a Christian is to read the prophecy of the book of Revelation.  

It says, blessed is anyone who reads the words of this prophecy aloud. So every day when you are looking for a blessing and you feel like man, God has forsaken me which he never does. But when you feel like it, read the book of Revelation aloud because from that you get blessings.  

I am the Alpha and Omega. Brothers and sisters, God is God who loves us and in this past month he has given us name of the name. Every single day we have looked at God's name. From June all the way to now to show us how much he loves us that he has named himself as a solution to every problem that we will face.  

So let's call on his name. Let's run to his name. He is the first, the last. In between he is God. He is Yahweh, Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Tsidkenu, Jehovah Makadesh, Jehovah Roi, Shammah, Jireh, Elion, he is and all that so that your life, my life is made better by calling on his names.  

These names are important because when we call someone by their name they will respond. They will respond. When you call on Jehovah Rapha, God will respond as the healer.  

When you call in Jehovah Shammah, God will respond. So brothers and sisters, we are being shown how incredible these God has made our lives, how he has put things in place to make sure that you and I on this journey we continue to walk in a manner that he desires for us to walk.  

So he has given us names, we call on his names and then among other things we have the angelic, among other things we have brothers and sisters, among other things we have prayer, we have worshiped, all these statues that just put for us just so we can be successful on our journey.  

So brothers and sisters, may we continue to study these names because out of it we find solutions to life. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the last. May the Lord bless you, may the Lord continue to equip you, may you continue to call on his names, may you continue to walk upright because he makes us righteous. 

May we continue to be strengthened in our weaknesses, may we continue to have revelation in who he is, may we continue to grow in the knowledge of who God is, may we continue to be enshrined with wisdom so that we continue to be the light and salt to this world.  

God is with us, he has given us his names so that we can be victorious, let's stand on them, let's run into them, let's call on them, let's use them, let's pray for others using these names because when we call on him he says, I will answer.  

When you call him on this particular name, he will answer as such. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the first in the last. May the Lord bless your families, may the Lord bless your children, may the Lord bless the works of your hands. 

May the Lord bless your bodies that you walk in health, may the Lord bless your minds so that wisdom is part of you, may the Lord strengthen you, may the Lord give you courage and boldness and determination in everything that you aspire to do in his name. 

May the Lord give you an ear to hear his spirit say things, may the Lord give you strength and wisdom, guidance and protection, may the Lord walk with you, may the Lord challenge you in areas that you need to be challenged, and may the Lord bless extended family through his name, may we find all that we desire in this life. 

May we have the wisdom to run, to stand on his name, knowing that he is God, he is with us, he is walking with us, he is for us, we can never fail, we can never lose, because he is the first in the last, the Alpha in the Omega, and every name that we will call on, He will respond as such. 

I pray that joy, peace, love will be part of your portion, because he is, pray that this salvation will continue to lead us in all things right, may we all have an incredible phenomenal Friday, and when you get a moment read the words of this prophecy so that you can remain blessed. 

I love you, I honor you, and I am grateful that I am part of your family, and you are part of my family, as we continue to walk together, may God lead us in the triumph and procession, and may God heal all those who might be sick, we call on Sarge, we say rise up, stand and be counted. 

May God restore you in every sense imaginable, all our seniors may God restore you, and we pray this prayer in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen, and Amen, brothers and sisters, may the Lord bless you, and may we all have an incredible phenomenal weekend, we will see you on Sunday, love you much.
