Thus Says The Lord-Who God Says He Is, His Commandments and Promises
"1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray Without Ceasing - Friday Morning Prayer"
Good morning. Good morning to you guys. Happy Friday. Happy Friday. I hope your week has been great so far and that you had a wonderful, restful night and we are ready for the weekend. Let us go to the Lord in prayer.
Well, before we go to the Lord in prayer, I want to say this. Yesterday, we had the privilege to officiate a homegoing service of one of our beloved friends that we play pickleball with. It's a couple that's in their 70s.
And it was one of the most beautiful things I ever experienced. And yesterday as I was sitting there, I realized that the reward of loving and serving the Lord faithfully and believing in Him is so remarkable that even in death.
There was a level of peace, love and comfort in that service yesterday that You knew where this person was going, that she's way in a much better place.
And that was so remarkable to feel and to see that man, all those years of faithfully serving the Lord, you are rewarded in this manner that you get to receive the crown for all your service that was remarkable to see.
And I just wanted to say that that serving the Lord and worshiping God and doing His will His work is one of the most incredible fulfilling thing that any human being can ever experience let us go to the Lord in prayer.
I'm gonna read Psalms 139. You have searched us, Lord, and You know us. You know when we sit and when we rise. You perceive our thoughts from afar. You discern our going out, our lying down.
You are familiar with all our ways. Before a word is on our tongue, You, Lord, know it completely. You hanged us behind and before, and You lay Your hand upon us. Such knowledge is too wonderful for us, too lofty for us to attain.
Where can we go from Your Spirit? Where can we flee from Your presence? If we go up to the heavens, You are there. If we make our bed in the depths, You are there.
If we rise on the winds of dawn, if we settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide us. Your right hand will hold us fast. If we say surely the darkness will hide us and the light becomes night around us, even the darkness will not be dark to You.
The night will shine like the day, for darkness is light to You. For You created our innermost being. You knit us together in our mother's womb. We praise You because we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful.
We know that fully well. Our frame was not hidden from You. When we were made in the sacred place, when we were woven together in the depths of the earth, Your eyes saw our unformed bodies.
All the days ordained for us were written in Your book before one of them came to be. How precious to us are Your thoughts! God, how vast is the sum of them! Were we to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand.
When we awake, we are still with You. Father, we thank You for this day that You have made, and we are going to rejoice in it, and we are going to stand on Christ, and we are going to yield to the Holy Spirit to guide us in all things true and in all things right in Jesus name, Amen.
Brothers and sisters, as you all know, It's Friday. We get to pray for one another and pray for each other's needs. As we pray, please join us wherever you are to pray for what you hear so that one can chase a thousand, two can chase ten thousand.
And all of us, we can chase so many thousands. So praying for us today is one of our lovely mothers, Mother Jones. And let me say this, if you ever get to meet Mother Jones her smile is unbelievably comforting.
And today she's going to pray for us and touch the hand of the Lord and lead us in prayer for our needs. Mother Jones, over to you, Mama.
Good morning, good morning, my brothers and sisters, and praise the Lord for Pastor Zee. Veronica and Calvin. Today we are coming to the Lord to yield ourselves to Him.
So we'll start off by saying, Dear Lord Jesus, we thank You for this day. We thank You for Your healing virtue to help us in all our lives to receive Your healing power.
Because Romans 4:17 states, the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being the things that were not. We thank You for receiving total strength and that our faith grows as we stand on God's promises to help us believe in the word in our lives for ourselves as well as for others.
Repentance, cleansing revival of the church, laborers, as Matthew 39:37-38, The harvest is truly plenteous, but the laborers are few, praying for the Lord of the harvest. And as we pray for laborers, we ourselves become laborers.
As we become kingdom builders and disciple makers, our faith as believers continue to spread with the name of Jesus over the schemes of the enemy.
We are thanking God by His power that we become, as Matthew 4:23 says, Jesus healed every disease and sickness among the people. Using our faith to walk and talk the word, we have no doubt in our hearts to see the manifestation of having what we desire in the name of Jesus.
James 5 tells us, the prayer offered in faith will make the sick persons healed, wailed, whole. The Lord will raise them up. We are looking to Jesus, the author and finish of our faith, to be with us, the righteous persons, knowing our prayers are powerful and effective.
The Holy Spirit adds to our natural super and the dunamis power which works in our lives builds the faith to let us know that what we pray day by day what God hears us even in times of trouble keeps and watches over us as in James.
I mean Jeremiah excuse me 23:4 I will set up shepherds over my flock who will be feed them. Father God we thank You that true shepherds pastors elders deacons and servants of the most high God will feel that calling for Your people that we will have no fear as in John 21:15-17.
Jesus is concerned about us and our ways and our lives. We pray for those being protected, excuse persecuted for the faith around the world because we live in this on this side.
We don't understand the persecution that they go through, but we can stand in faith knowing that God will and be their comforter. Being in this side, we have to realize that we too are walking in tribulations and circumstances that are without our knowing how to handle.
But we have a God who can and will and shall show us the way being sensitive to His word. Also the Jewish nation to accept Jesus as their long-awaited Messiah to bless the nations of Israel.
We know Hebrews 13:4 says Christian marriages is to be held in high honor among all. So we pray for the tax on marriages, families, that we will seek joy and abundance in the name of Jesus, and our leading will be to give Him praise.
The family is God's plan. Genesis 2:24 said, man and woman became united as one flesh. So therefore, this is the plan of God. Parents and guardians, Colossians 3:20 says, Children, be obedient to Your parents in all things but then it will be well with You.
And this is the first commandment with the promise that we have been given. And it tells us that we will become those children with a repentant heart to communicate with their parents and parents with their children.
So that the blessings may be well with them and they will enjoy life long on this earth. We thank You, Father God, for knowing that You are our great I am. We yield ourselves to You.
And we pray for the unsaved family members in our households, and not just our households, but those that we know need You.
But we are in times where those who do not know You and are seeking Your faith, God will give us the directions to give them the word that they need to know and say, what must I do to be saved?
For people with special needs, for teenagers, for college students, and working Young adults, for caregivers, for singles, for our sons and daughters to become believers and working in this ungodly in their ungodly workplaces.
For the unemployed and financially strained. For the United States, leaders in the national, state, and local government. For those in positions to create, interpret, judge, and enforce laws on natural, state, and local levels.
For all of our communities, for the unity of believers around the world, each and every person connected to our prayer ministry. We thank God that they too will feel and know the assurance that we have in God and what we are praying for.
Our children or our heritage is from the Lord, as Psalms 127:3 says, Therefore we know that we are to pray and accept the will of God in the lives of our children as we seek His face for them.
We thank Him because He is our great God. He is our shepherd, and as he leads us, we will walk in truth. We will walk in honesty. We walk in victory, knowing that we have the victory to receive the blessing that God has given us.
We have prayer requests for Rachel Chris, who is desiring for her loved ones to be holy, healthy and prosperous for God's glory. And we thank God for that in all our homes.
We thank God for Sarge, Miss Russell, and Karinza Perkins have asked for prayer for Mr. Smith, who has been in and out of the hospital. His elderly wife takes care of him and their young granddaughter.
They are having conditions in their home that they need help with to be in a peaceful lifestyle, and we pray that God will do that. We also praying for the competitors who are traveling across the country this summer.
Praying that all their needs are met, the food, equipment, stay working, and conditions that they have kept safe. Those in leadership, revelation, wisdom on the things they should be responsible for, and looking for jobs, separation of homes from young.
Excuse me, a young lady that's separated from her husband. She needs, there is healing that's needed, provision, and to know that she's still worthy and love.
Provision and supernatural opportunity for her children, all our children, and the next chapter of their lives. Charity, revelation, and amazing provision for a friend who is seeking direction in the ministry.
Families who are going to have, a family member who is going to have a biopsy Friday morning, and we know the chief physician is already there. So we're thanking and praising God for that.
We thank God for knowing that with all the prayers that we have. God is still in control. It does not catch Him off guard. He knows the steps that we are taking.
So we stay prayerful and seeking His face and all those around us who need and desire the provisions of God. Today, I will pray for protection from Psalms 91.
Father, we praise You that we dwell in the secret place of the Most High, and that we shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty, because Your power no foe can withstand.
We will say, Lord, the Lord is our refuge and our fortress. Our God, on You we lean and rely, and in You we comfort and trust. For then You are delivering us from the snare of the fowl and from the deadly pestilence.
You'll cover us with Your feathers and under Your wings, we trust and find refuge. Your truth and Your faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. We will not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor the arrow.
The evil plots of slander of the wicked that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction and sudden death that surprisingly lay waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at our side and 10,000 at our right hand, but it shall not come near us.
Only a spectator shall we be inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High as we witness the reward of the wicked. Because You have made us, Lord, You are our refuge and our Most High. We are in Your dwelling place.
There shall no evil befall us, neither shall any plague or calamity come near our tent. You give Your angels special charge over us to accompany and defend and deserve us in all our ways of obedience and service.
Your angels bear us up on their hands as we dash our foot against the stone. We should tread upon the lion and add us. The Young lion and the serpent shall we tramp underfoot. Because You set Your love upon us, therefore You are delivering us.
You're setting us on high because we are knowing and understanding Your name. We have personal knowledge of Your mercy, love, and kindness. We're trusting and relying on You knowing that You will never forsake us.
No, never. As Hebrews tells us, we are calling upon You as You're answering us. When we are in trouble, You are there. You're delivering us and honoring us. With long life, will You satisfy us and show us Your salvation.
Father God, we thank You because we know that You are Abba, You are Jehovah Rapha. So all that we come to You desiring and wanting in our lives You desire and want to give to us.
Help us, Father God, continually to become Your servants, knowing who You are in our lives, and we seek Your face early, thanking You.
We praise You, Lord, because those petitions that we brought, You already know them, but we bring them to You, Lord, to let You know we have them on our heart for our brothers and sisters to be healed, delivered, set free, made whole, and as they're seeking Your face.
Crying out to You, they will know that You are listening. We thank You, Lord. We praise Your name, and we seek Your faith, knowing that this day we are learning to walk in Your word, receive our healing, and become Your vessels, for You are God.
Thank You today, my brothers and sisters. Have a blessed and prosperous weekend as we continue to praise God for all that he's doing in each and every one of our lives. And we know that He is the great I am.
We're walking in His statue, in his word, and in faith, understanding that we too are God's children. Amen.
Amen and Amen. We stand in agreement for every prayer request. And we say, Lord, with our faith, we agree that You hear us. We agree that You are going to move on our behalf.
And now, Lord, as a pastor, I bless this congregation. I bless mothers that God You may continue to give them strength, to guide families, to be caregivers and caretakers.
I bless fathers, that God You continue to give us the vision to lead our families in all things true and in all things right. I bless all our children, that God You may protect them from harm and danger.
Not only that, but bring them into the fold of salvation so that they too can run their race right behind us as they receive that which You have taught us.
I bless them with gifts and talents so that doors can open wide open for every single one of them, those who are in high school, middle school, elementary and college. I bless our grandchildren that God may they receive a legacy of faith from their grandfathers and grandmothers.
I bless, Lord, that the love they receive from their grandfathers and mothers can that push them towards salvation, in the name of Jesus. I bless the works of the hands that You have given us.
The building process that we are doing, from building families, building homes, building work, that allows us to earn a living, I bless that work. I bless the companies that we work for and the people that are above us.
That God, may we continue to find favor with them as we do the work that You have called us to do. I bless the work that You have instructed us to do, the spiritual work that You have given us to do, that You have given every single individual, the Great Commission.
I bless that. I bless that every single one of us will understand that we have a role to play in the Kingdom of God and God has given us gifts and talent to execute so that the Great Commission continues.
I bless the spiritual work. I bless provision. I bless all of us with provision that God will not lack for anything, that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches and glory.
I bless every single one of us with total healing of the human body and the soul, the mind and the spirit. Your word says, Come unto me, all You who are tired and weary, and we will find rest for our souls.
So I bless every single one of us with rest for the soul that God promised us and we know it's part of our inheritance and I pray that You receive it and walk in full measure of rest of Your soul.
I bless our homes with peace, love and joy and harmony and I pray Lord that let our homes be sanctuaries of the gift of the Lord that adds no sorrow, that is full of blessing, full of love, full of peace.
Angels on assignment, guarding every corner of every household, protecting that we cherish. But Father, as we live out these lives, keep our eyes on You so that our feet are blessed.
Because Your word says to us, I will give You every length that You trade upon. So I bless every square inch that we will walk on and I bless those that will meet us and experience the blessing of the Lord through us.
I bless the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts. I bless that. Father, we bless all the seniors amongst us. We pray for their strength. And we pray, Lord, for their wisdom, that God, they will walk in full blessing of healing and strength and wisdom.
I bless their legacy is intact. That God, as they continue to walk, allow them the measure to leave an incredible, phenomenal legacy that generations from now will drink from the wells they are digging.
I bless those who are going through challenges because Your word says when we are weak, You are strong. So we pray the blessings of the Lord on all those who are going through strife and through different challenges in life that God opened doors that no man would shut.
I bless the widows amongst us. I bless their household, I bless their provision. I bless their children, that God, may they never fill the void of not having a father, because You, God, You will be their Father in the earth.
I bless every single one of us, that God, as we gather every morning, let the blessings of the Lord continue to enrich the very true essence of our souls.
So that we can walk as believers, Christians, strong Christians, proclaiming this gospel so that others get to see what it means to be a Christian. I bless our times together of worship and prayer.
Let them be filled with the Holy Spirit and let them be filled with love and joy in the Holy Ghost. Now, Lord, we command the blessing of the Lord to be upon us that we dare to believe what You have put in our spirit to believe.
And that we will soldier on as we continue to find our place in this kingdom. Elevate us spiritually, every single one of us. Strengthen us in the way that we interact with one another and the world around us.
I pray for wisdom, bless every single one of us with wisdom to live in these challenging times. We wouldn't have lived in the early 1900s or 1800s, but God is so with fit that we live in this time and in this era.
So I bless us with the wisdom to live in this era so that we can execute the very true essence of Christianity in this hour where we are needed, where we are the sword, where we are the light.
Father, bless the little oil that we have, just like the widow that Elijah blessed, so that Our oil never runs out. The anointing that You've placed on every single one of us never runs out. It continues to flow so that many can be touched through us.
That's our goal, the Great Commission. So Father, I pray these blessings over this mighty congregation that You have given us. And I'm praying, Lord, that as we continue to bond together.
Let Your Spirit continue to aid us in everything that we'll do and everything that we'll proclaim. Bless those that think on our behalf, that come up with schedules and all different things for us to execute.
Bless them with more intelligence. Bless them with more wisdom to continue to guide us spiritually in giving us things to execute when it's needed and when time permits. Father, thank You for every talent.
We account for it and we ask, Lord, that every talent that You have given us, that we will multiply it so that on the day that You return, You will find us and give us a reward where You will say.
Well done, great and wonderful servant. We thank You for even allowing us to be part of this salvation. Now, help us as we go through our day, answer every prayer request, guide every single one of us, strengthen us in our desires, and those who are sick amongst us.
We continue to lift them up to You for total healing. We continue to believe for Sarge. We continue to believe for Mother Russell. We continue to believe for Veronica's mom. And we thank You that Your sovereign authority has guided us this far.
Now lead us Father as we continue to bond together in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We bless You, Lord and we honor You. We thank You for all that You have done in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen and Amen.
Brothers and sisters, may the Lord bless you. May the Lord's face shine upon you. May His light continue to illuminate your path so that wherever you walk, that God is guiding you in Jesus name.
Let's have an incredible, phenomenal weekend. We'll see You back on Sunday, Bible study at 6 p.m. Central, 7 p.m. Eastern. Have a great weekend.
