Thus Says The Lord-Who God Says He Is, His Commandments and Promises

"1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray Without Ceasing - Friday Morning Prayer"

A very good morning to you, everybody. I hope you had a wonderful restful night and ready for a Friday, and I know when we get to Friday, usually we are all tired, running around with the kids, but we are looking forward to the day nonetheless.

Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Heavenly Father, we thank you for your goodness and your mercy towards us. We thank you Lord that we have a place we can run to.

It's sure and guaranteed rock that we can stand on, with confidence knowing that surely we will be received, guided, consoled, comforted, and that we will find ourselves centered in you.

And we thank you for Christ, for coming the earth and dying on the cross so that salvation is guaranteed, assured for those who believe in faith. So Father, this morning, as we stand on this rock, we know it's solid ground and every other ground is sinking sand.

So today, as we devote this moment, this time to you, we are grateful that you are our Father and that we are your children. And we pray Lord that every prayer request that we send out today, every blessing that made guests to the throne of grace, may it be received, processed.

And may the recipients receive the very reward and the true essence of our God in our lives and we pray this prayer in Jesus' name, Amen. So brothers and sisters, if you're joining us for the first time, we have devoted Fridays as a day of prayer.

Monday through to Thursday we look at Scripture and hear what the Lord says. But for Friday, we have reserved Friday as a day to just pray for prayer needs and just remember one another in prayer.

So today is my job and my duty, I lift up everybody in prayer, and join me wherever you are. You know, as you pray and I pray for you, and as the Lord puts somebody in your heart, pray for them too.

And as we all join in faith, knowing Lord that where two or more of us are gathered in His name, God will do whatever we ask, as long as it's according to His will and purpose for our lives.

So let us all go to the Lord in prayer. Lord, where can we go from your spirit? Where can we flee from your presence? If we go up to the heavens, you are there. If we make our bed in the depths, you are there.

If we rise on the wings of dawn, if we settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide us, your right hand will uphold us in faith. Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me, even then the darkness will not be dark to you, and night will still shine like the day, for darkness is light to you.

So Father, we are confident in the fact that your eyes are on the sparrow. There is nothing in this world that is hidden from you, even the challenges that we might be going through, even the things that might be done in dark, you see it all.

So our confidence is in the fact that if we can see it, you can see it better. So Father, in this moment I lift up every family that is connected to you, because your word specifically tells us that every family's name is written in Christ Jesus.

So Father, I place every family before your throne. And we are asking, Lord, that whatever their needs and desires are, may you meet them today, whether it's needs for their children.

Whether it's needs for their lives, for their livelihood, whether it's resources they need to continue living this life in the manner in which you desire them to live.

I pray, Lord, that may your blessing overflow their way so that they are able to live a life that is according to the will and purpose that you have granted them. Father, I lift up all marriages.

I thank you for husbands and wives loving one another. I thank you for grace. I thank you for strength. I thank you for wisdom. I thank you, Lord, for peace, that as we continue to live these lives, may we be prosperous in this endeavor in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Father, I lift up our children. We know they are dealing with a lot because of the time they are living in. But we are guaranteed and we know for a fact that our children would not have lived in 1940, because they were not designed to live in 1940.

But they were designed to live in this era, knowing perfectly well that, God, every challenge they will ever face in this era you have already accommodated, that you have already given the spirit to guide them, the wisdom to guide them, angels to walk with them, and the wisdom to deal with every challenge that is ever thrown their way.

So I lift up all our girls, as they go back and forth in school, as they deal with the pressure that is being thrown to them, that, God, may their spirit be anchored in you above all else. May their desire to know you fill their spirit and hearts in the name of Jesus.

We pray for encounters, spiritual encounters, that, God, may they be astute and wise enough to feel and to know your hand as it guides them throughout the days of their lives as they go back and forth to school.

Father, I pray for our sons, that, God, may you give them the courage, the boldness, the determination to pursue that which is right in the eyes of the Lord. I pray for wisdom, for counsel, that, God, may they be knowledgeable enough to run to the throne of grace knowing that in you they move and find their way.

I pray, Lord, that may they be granted wisdom to be men of industry, men of wisdom, men who seek and hunger and thirst after spiritual things. May we raise amongst us generals, men of honor, that desire spiritual things and that are centered on the kingdom of God.

We thank you, Lord, for this generation that you have allowed us as parents to raise. I pray for us parents and grandparents, that, God, may you continue to give us wisdom to guide them in the things and the pressures they are facing.

We know there are certain things we might not understand or experience because we were brought up in a different era, but above all else I know wisdom is the principal thing. It overrides everything that we might not have in wisdom or counsel for this generation.

So I pray, Lord, that as you continue, Lord, to educate us as parents in the ways of the Lord, may wisdom guide us as we raise our children in the things of the Lord. Give us words that are kind, that are slow to anger but quick to understand.

Words that will console, that will guide, that will encourage, that will inspire our children to continue walking in the things of the Lord. We bless our children and give them talents accounted for.

I pray, Lord, that none amongst our children be found to be lazy in the name of Jesus. We shut the spirit of laziness in every single one of our children and grandchildren, that they are industrious people ready to work and use the hands that you have blessed them with in order to find a place in this world.

We thank you for the many gifts and talents that you have bestowed on them. I pray, Lord, that along this journey of life may they meet somebody who will encourage, inspire, challenge them so that they can continue dreaming and looking forward to the things that you have placed in them to accomplish and to do in this world.

May we be patient with them, may we be wise to give good counsel to our children in the name of Jesus. And, God, for those who are already driving and trying to drive, I pray, may our children be protected from harm and danger, seen or unseen.

For our children that are in sports, that we entrust them to other people to coach and to educate, I pray for great coaching environments where they are not being subjected to things that are beyond their measure or beyond their gifts and talents to accomplish.

May they find themselves in the midst of sporting challenges in the name of Jesus. We pray, Lord, that they will be the light in darkness wherever they are. I pray for wisdom in all of their efforts as they do whatever it is that you have called them to do in the name of Jesus.

And I pray, Lord, that above all else may they find Christ in the midst of every sporting battle, in the midst of team, in the midst of coaching, may they find Christ in the name of Jesus.

We pray, Lord, for confidence, that may they rise in confidence in everything they do, knowing that God is the center of their lives in the name of Jesus, we thank you that they are protected from harm and danger, seen or unseen.

I pray, Lord, that they will not live under pressure to do things that are beyond the realm of what you have designated for them to do. I pray, Lord, for good counsel among coaches, among teachers.

That, Father, any moment that they spend in school or away from us we pray for angels and assignments to bring the very true essence of who you are today in the name of Jesus. We pray for sporting injuries, that, God, they are free from sporting injuries in the name of Jesus.

Now, God, as we continue, I lift up Calvin and Veronica. I thank you, Lord, for who they are in you. I thank you, Lord, for the strength and wisdom that you are placing in them. I thank you, Lord, for the courage, importance, and determination to pursue that which is right.

I pray, Lord, that in their transition, in their journey, and everything that you have bestowed upon them to do, I pray for wisdom, I pray for grace, I pray for knowledge.

I pray, Lord, for guidance, that, God, may they receive spiritual guidance straight from the throne of grace as they do what they do.

I pray for Mom in North Carolina, that, God, may you continue to heal her in the name of Jesus, even in her old age. I pray, Lord, that she will not taste death until she finds true salvation in the name of Jesus.

We place her in your hands, knowing, Lord, that in due season she will receive every word, and we will not faint in praying, that, God Almighty, through the very true essence of Jesus Christ who died on the cross and who proclaimed that it was finished, that her life was also in that death.

So I thank you for what you are doing in this season in their lives, even in their transition out of New York. I pray, Lord, that everything they desire to do in New York to finalize, whatever it is, Lord, that you finalize.

I pray, Lord, that may it all fall in place according to your will and purpose in the name of Jesus. May this transition be easy for them. I pray, Lord, even for all their clientele that are in New York, that, God, may they continue to find favor in spite of moving and everything else that is transpiring in their life.

We pray for business in the name of Jesus, that, God, you continue to strengthen them and you continue to guide them even as they are on this crash course to learn about spiritual leadership.

As they continue, Lord, to learn these scriptures, to be teachers of grace, teachers of love, teachers of scripture, teachers of doctrine, I pray for grace to abound in their lives, but above all else, I pray for wisdom to see spiritual things.

In an era where they are being raised up with changes arising in this season of human life. I bless you, Veronica and Calvin, in the name of Jesus.

We pray for Dorothy and the whole family and Deborah, the God that you continue to bless them in everything they are doing in Mississippi. We pray for their misses and nephews and those who desire for salvation to be out of their lives.

I pray Lord that every single niece and nephew and Calvin is accounted for in the name of Jesus. We extend salvation to anyone who might not have received salvation in their family. I pray for an encounter with the Holy Spirit so that they can be drawn into this faith in the name of Jesus.

I pray Lord for strength and wisdom in everything they are doing for others in Mississippi, in the name of Jesus. I pray for their families, I pray for blessing over their families that they don't want for anything, I pray for courage, and boldness, and determination, strength, and wisdom for Deborah and Dorothy in the name of Jesus.

I pray for wisdom to abound in everything they do in Jesus’ name. Father, we thank you for Monica, we thank you Lord that she has transitioned to Hansville.

I pray Lord that as she continue to be established in Hansville, I pray Lord that God you’re opening doors for this wonderful soul, that God she is finding herself, even as she is working.

I pray Lord for opportunities to rise in ranks in the name of Jesus. I pray Lord that as she continues to desire for home, I pray God that you are blessing Monica in the name of Jesus. I pray for opportunities to grow, and in the job, I pray for opportunities to grow spiritually.

I pray Lord that as she continues to study Scripture, that God may reveal yourself to her soft, strong in the name of Jesus. I pray Lord for her family and those that are around there, the friends, that God may she be the anchor where people can find rest, solutions, counsel in Monica.

Thank you for Monica, bless her mightly in everything that she puts a hand in, bless her mind, bless her soul, bless her body in the name of Jesus. Father, we lift up Cynthia and the whole entire brood, children and grandchildren and business.

I pray Lord that may grace, wisdom, strength, courage, determination, boldness, may be the epicenter of Cynthia's life. I pray Lord as she desires to seek obedience and counsel from you, that God may she be quick to work, quick to do and act, to obey whatever it is Lord that you place in her spirit to do.

May you bless Cynthia and her children. We pray a special blessing on Cynthia as she continues to heal, that God only you’re doing exceedingly, abundantly more than she can ever ask in the name of Jesus.

I pray that every need is met in Cynthia's life and their family and their children and their grandchildren. I pray that every single one of them is coming to salvation in the name of Jesus.

May you anchor this family in everything they do in Jesus’ name. We bless Cynthia and their children and their grandchildren, we bless Cynthia's business, that you’re extending a new clientele, that you’re protecting her even in that arena as she deals with so many different people.

We thank you for your grace, we thank you for your love. Now do exceedingly abundantly for Cynthia and the family and we thank you for your will for their lives, and we place them in your hands knowing Lord that you are their counsel in Jesus’ name.

We pray for Sarge and Nina. Thank you Lord for these mothers and fathers that you have placed in our midst. We thank you Lord that they are anchors to our lives. Now we lift them up in prayer for healing, for strength, and I pray Lord for Sarge as he is recovering, that God may continue to strengthen him in the name of Jesus.

We pray for his mind, we pray for his body to have God heal him. We send a healing word, just as the centurion sent a healing word to his servant, we send a healing word to Sarge. We say rise up, stand up, be counted in the name of Jesus.

We pray for strength to return, and we pray Lord for determination to live. We thank you for Nina and all that she's doing. I pray Lord for rest, and I pray for grace to abound, and I pray for peace in her heart that Father may you continue to anchor this mother of ours.

We thank you Lord for all that you have done in these past few weeks as you have anchored them, as you have been in and out of hospital with Sarge, but I pray Lord that the worst is come and gone now.

Now we commit this couple to you, and we pray for the blood of Jesus to be applied on Sarge in Jesus’ name. We pray for Sarge’s children, we pray for all their children and grandchildren, that they are coming to the knowledge of Christ, that salvation is theirs and is their portion.

Father, I pray Lord that as these two believe, that God may you respond as we all join in faith with their faith for all that seems to be impossible in their lives. I thank you for their children and I thank you for their daughters, and I thank you Lord that they are coming to full knowledge of salvation in Christ Jesus.

Thank you for strengthening Sarge, thank you for providing for Nina. I pray Lord for rest, and I pray Lord for wisdom as they continue to live out this life in the name of Jesus. We thank you for Mother Jones, we thank you Lord for who she is in us, we thank you Lord for what she brings to all of us, the love, the unconditional love.

I pray Lord that may you continue to bless Mother Jones. I pray for wisdom, for grace, for love, for peace. I pray even for her son, that he is coming to full salvation, that Father whatever Mother Jones has prayed for her children, we join in with our faith believing that God you are quick to answer.

Father, may you hear a Mother's prayer and may you be quick to answer Mother Jones and her family as she desires all of her children to be anchored in Christ Jesus. We join our faith with her, believing your word, that if we abide in you and you abide in us, we can ask anything and God you will be quick to answer.

So you are blessing Mother Jones and we thank you for grace, we thank you for love in Jesus’ name. We pray for Mother Mary. We thank you Lord for this educator amongst us, bless the Lord as she continues to run with children.

We pray Lord for a sweet spirit to rise so that somebody gets to believe in Christ through her. I pray for opportunities to minister, to say thus says the Lord to the little ones and those that she encounters in this school.

I pray Lord for grace, I pray for her family, I pray for good health for her, her children, and all those that are involved in her life. Father, I pray for wisdom to continue anchoring Mother Mary in all that she does in the name of Jesus.

Bless Mother Mary and her children and her grandchildren in Jesus’ name, none amongst them is sick in Jesus’ name.

We thank you Lord that you're protecting her as she drives up and down these highways in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We lift up Mother Carrie. We thank you Lord for the senior amongst us.

Thank you Lord that she is able-bodied and vibrant at her age, and I’m praying Lord that may you continue to bless her with strong and healthy body in the name of Jesus. I pray for protection from harm and danger.

We pray for her mind, that God she is a leader, that she continues to do all that you have called her to do. We thank you Lord for this gift of writing and gift of singing and playing piano, that God may you give an opportunity to pour out that which she has learned over the years to the next generation.

I pray Lord that as she continues to live out this life, I pray Lord for comfort, for peace, and I pray for her children, that God may they continue to honor her in the name of Jesus. We send angels on assignment to protect all that she has worked for in the name of Jesus.

Thank you for Grace, thank you for Jared and his family and his children. I pray Lord that they are a blessing to Mother Carrie in Jesus’ name. We thank you for this wonderful woman, in the name of Jesus.

We pray for Nadia and her children, we pray for grace and thank you Lord for entering Nadia. We know what she's been through, but Father we are resting in you, we are standing in hope for a brighter future.

And Father I thank you for this wonderful daughter you have placed in our midst, and I pray Lord that in this season of her life, as she's coming out of this dark night, I pray for blessing upon blessing upon blessing on Nadia's life.

I pray for her daughter, that God you are blessing her children, that God may they find strength to continue living successful lives, and I pray Lord that the future is brighter.

I pray Lord that they are coming into their own, and I pray Lord that as you continue to heal Nadia's soul, we stand in expectation of that which you are bringing to Nadia's life. Thank you for Nadia, we bless Nadia, we bless Nadia's children, we bless the works of their hands, we bless their home, we bless peace.

We thank you for wisdom, courage to pursue the things that seem difficult. Open doors for Nadia, for her business, open doors for her to teach. We thank you Lord for wisdom. Your word says you are close to the brokenhearted, so we know you are close to Nadia.

May you continue to reveal yourself so strong in her life, in the name of Jesus. Bless Nadia, blessing upon blessing, blessing upon blessing to you Nadia, in the name of Jesus. Protect her from harm and danger, protect her children from harm and danger.

I pray for a peace that surpasses human understanding, that it will guard their hearts in Christ Jesus. And I pray Lord that as they wait on you, that God you anchor the rest of their life, and we place it in your hands and we ask you Lord that as you continue to anchor her, show her the way to go in the name of Jesus.

We bless you and honor you for this wonderful family, a hedge of protection around everything they own. We pray for future sons-in-law and future daughters-in-law that will bring a level of love and contentment in this family, in the name of Jesus.

Every spiritual need met and every physical need met in the name of Jesus. Father, we prayed for Erica and her children and Jared and their family. I pray Lord that you are blessing Erica with incredible, phenomenal business, open doors for her in Chelsea and the neighbors around her.

Thank you for wisdom, I thank you for grace, I thank you Lord that this family is coming to full health, a season of health, a season where they all walk in great health for months and months to come.

We apply the blood of Jesus on Erica and her whole entire family, that God they are all walking in healing, no allergies in the name of Jesus. I pray for our children, even as they continue to matriculate in sports.

I pray for great teammates, great coaches, incredible environments where they are finding themselves not only in sport but in Christ Jesus. Give Erica the wisdom to teach things that shall become sound doctrine, so that her children will be anchored in Christ Jesus above all else.

Thank you for grace, thank you for love, thank you Lord for who she is in you, and thank you for her husband, and we thank you Lord that as they continue to raise this wonderful family, we pray for blessing upon blessing, that they are protected from harm and danger seen or unseen in Jesus’ name.

We pray for Karinza and Alfred. We thank you Lord for Abony, we thank you Lord for all that she is going through right now as she matriculates in medicine. I pray Lord that every need is met, open doors for this young girl to be who you have called her to become in the name of Jesus.

I pray Lord for continued healing in Alfred in the name of Jesus, that God you’re opening doors and opportunity for Karinza, for her to be used by you. We thank you Lord for the gift of serving that is in Karinza.

We thank you Lord for who she is to all of us, and I pray a special blessing for her meekness and your word says the meek will inherit the earth, so I pray a blessing on Karinza for an inheritance on this earth because of her meekness in the name of Jesus.

Thank you Lord for Darryl as he continues to matriculate also in his profession. I pray for open doors, I pray Lord for even husband for Abony and a wife for Darryl, that God you are blessing these two with phenomenal and incredible spouses in the name of Jesus.

I thank you that they are protected from harm and danger wherever they go, whatever they do. Open doors for these young people all amongst us, to be men and women of God who are full of wisdom, strength and courage in the name of Jesus.

Bless the Pecan's family in Jesus’ name. Father, we thank you for Mike Stuart and his family as they are going through the loss of his father. I pray Lord now that as this mantle is resting upon him now, I pray Lord for wisdom, for courage, boldness and determination as they go through this difficult time.

Thank you Lord for this wonderful family, we thank you Lord for the time they spent with their father. Now I pray for mom, even in old age, as she is going through this difficult challenge of losing a husband of 67 years.

I pray Lord for the time they spent together, the 67 years they spent together as husband and wife. I pray Lord that even right now in this moment, that you are blessing her soul as she mourns her husband.

I pray for peace, I pray Lord that you are encouraging this family in Christ Jesus. Thank you for wisdom, thank you for courage, thank you for peace, thank you for love in the name of Jesus.

We pray for David and Connie and for David as he has lost his mother a week ago, and I pray Lord that even as we prepare to do the funeral this weekend, we pray for a time of grace, love, peace, remembrance in the name of Jesus.

We thank you Lord for this family, we thank you Lord for who they are in all of us, and I’m praying Lord that as we come together on Saturday to bury his mother, I pray Lord for a peace that surpasses human understanding, and I pray for a time of celebration of life.

That God as we remember her, we thank you above all else for all that you have done and what you're still going to do in their lives. Thank you for Daniel, for Zipporah, Jack, Jasmine and Trey.

I pray Lord a special blessing on this family, that as they're continuing to find their path and their way, that God you are healing, you are bringing peace, you are bringing order, you are bringing love, you are bringing grace, you are bringing understanding, you are bringing wisdom in the name of Jesus.

May you continue Lord to open doors for Jack and Zipporah as they grow and to find their way as they are in school and trying to figure out work and all the things that young people try to figure out.

I pray Lord that they are not living under any unnecessary pressure, but Father that you're calling them unto you. I pray for Zipporah, that may she find salvation in the name of Jesus. Father arrest this young girl in the name of Jesus, may she find herself in you.

I pray for an opportunity for somebody to touch, to minister to her so that she can find you in the name of Jesus. Even Father as I plan to talk to her, I pray Lord that you give me wisdom, insight so that she can find you while you are still near.

Thank you for grace, thank you for protection from harm and danger, seen or unseen, in the name of Jesus. Now Lord, as we go through this day, I pray a special blessing on all of us. I pray for all, ZJ, David and Ava and April.

I thank you Lord for this family you’ve given me, and I thank you Lord for who they are in you, and I pray Lord that as our children, we send them and release them in school. I pray for grace, I pray for peace, I pray for angels on assignment to protect them from harm and danger.

And I pray Lord for everything that you have placed in our hearts and our minds to do. I pray for strength, courage, determination, boldness, and I pray Lord that you’re opening doors that no man would shut.

I pray Lord a special blessing on all of us, that we are your children and you are our Father. So as we set our eyes on you, we are believing you for greater, and we stand today in agreement and in faith, that we are coming into our own.

That you are giving us a place in your kingdom to raise the banner of the Lord. So I pray Lord for wisdom, I pray for open doors, and I pray Lord that as we are waiting on you, that you will renew our strength and we will mount up on wings like eagles.

And we bless you and we honor you for the Father that you are to all of us. Now quiet our hearts and our spirits as we rest in you, knowing fully well that your eye is on the sparrow, that nothing escapes you, that you see it all.

Now give us courage to believe beyond this moment here, to know Lord that we are walking in your pathway, and as long as we stay on this road and walk along this journey, eventually we will get to the right designated place to do thus says the Lord.

Thank you for your presence, thank you for your love, thank you for your hand on our lives, thank you for grace, thank you for peace, thank you for this community of believers, thank you for this time that you have placed in our lives to come together in worship.

To anchor one another in spirit, to believe together, to love one another, to strengthen and encourage one another, and I pray Lord that as we continue to walk together, that it is only in you that we will find our strength to do that which you have called us to do.

We are believing you Lord for greater things that are beyond the realm of our imagination. I know your word says no eye has seen and no ear has heard, nor has it entered our hearts what you have in store for those who love you, and we know for a fact that we love you.

So we are believing that something greater is coming our way, and we stand here in full acknowledgement, knowing for sure, without a shadow of a doubt, that you have set us on the course and the pathway to victory.

Remove all doubts, remove all anxiety, remove all apathy in the name of Jesus. Now we pray for grace to abound in everything that we do. As we go throughout this day, may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be upon you, Amen and Amen. We love you and may you have a wonderful Friday in Jesus name.
