Thus Says The Lord-Who God Says He Is, His Commandments and Promises
"1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray Without Ceasing - Friday Morning Prayer"
A very good morning, a very good morning to you everybody I pray that you are well rested and that you had a wonderful night and you are ready for another day and today is Good Friday.
Today is Good Friday and it's such a privilege and honor to worship God to know what he did on the cross, to know what he went through, so that we can come together in the spirit of his kingdom and unity.
And we thank the Lord for Good Friday. We thank the Lord for what he went through. As you all know, today is Friday. We get to pray and pray for one another. And we get to remember, you know, some prayer requests.
And if you hear me pray for something, please join me wherever you are and kind of pray for the same thing. And let's be victorious today, Amen. Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Lord, we come before you today.
We knew before the Father of the heavens, and we thank you for who you are. We thank you for sending your Son to die on that cross, to experience this great difficult challenge of death, so that we can be alive today in Him, and that He can be in us.
Christ in us the hope of glory, which is in itself a greatest mystery. So we are grateful that we walk around with Christ in us, that His Spirit governs us, His Spirit directs us, and He is a friend to us.
So Lord, you have searched us and you know us. You know when we sit down, you know when we rise. You perceive our thoughts from afar. You discern our going out and our laying down.
You are way familiar with our ways. Before we speak a word this morning on our tongue, Lord, you know it completely. You have harmed all of us behind and before, and you lay your hand upon us to guide and protect and shepherd us.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for us, too lofty to attain. Where can we go, Lord, where your spirit is not? Where can we flee from and we find ourselves away from your presence? If we go to the heavens, you are there.
If we make our bed in the depths of the oceans, you are there. If we rise on the wings of dawn, if we settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide us, your right hand will hold us fast.
And in your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. Surely, the darkness will hide us and the light become night around us. Even the darkness will not be dark to you.
The night will continue to shine like a day. For darkness is a light to you. For you created our innermost being and you know us inside and outside in. There is nothing about us that you don't know.
We are fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. All that you have shown us is your greatness. When we open our eyes and look far beyond the trees, all we can see, Lord, is your hand, doing only what you are capable of doing.
So, Father, today, as we kneel before you, we thank you for even considering us that you would dare to send your Son to die on the cross, so that we can be redeemed for the cause of reconciliation.
So, Father, as we come before you today, it's with humble hearts, Lord, that we look to the hills where our help comes from, knowing, Lord, that your ears, your eyes are attentive to us, your lowly servants.
So, Father, for every prayer request that we table before you. It is through our faith that we believe that God, you are quick to hear and you are quick to answer. Come to our aid, for we are in desperate need of you every hour that we are here on earth.
So Father, hear our prayers today as we table them before you. Answer us in the midst of darkness in the name of Jesus, we live amongst evil people and an evil world. But Father, he has guarded us and safeguarded under your wings.
So Father, as we mount on wings like an eagle, our prayer, Lord, is that we become arrows that you continue to use in this earthly realm. So Father, every prayer request that we table before you, hear us Lord, for we need you in the name of Jesus.
So Father, we come this morning, we lift up Nadia's godfather, Terry Clark, as he is dealing with triple bypass and heart surgery. Father, we thank you for your grace and we thank you that by your stripes, we are healed.
Our confidence is in not what we know or what we have heard. Our confidence is in the fact that we are in your hands. That if we can see it, you see it better. That there is nothing we can experience here on earth that you are not capable of resolving.
So as we lift Terry Clark before you, as he goes through triple bar surgery, Father, we are grateful for the wisdom and knowledge of doctors and knowledge of modern medicine. But God today, for your peace and your comfort for Terry Clark.
We pray, Lord, for your hand now to steady every hand that will go into that surgery and touch this body. Let there be a miracle that transforms somebody's mind and cause them to believe in the Lordship of Christ.
Above all else, we pray for healing for Terry Clark. We pray for quick recovery in the name of Jesus. Father, we pray, Lord, for your grace to abound today as they prepare for what's coming.
And we know the challenges of surgery and post-ops and somebody taking care of you. I pray, Lord, that may all that be in place in the name of Jesus. But above all else, we ask for your healing, just like this centurion we send a word to you, Terry Clark, and say, Be healed in the name of Jesus.
Father, we thank you for your grace. We'll continue to lift up Nadia, Alex, and her friend Alex for her marriage to her husband. And Father, we pray for your grace to continue to abound in this family.
Let there be reconciliation and peace in the midst of all these challenges. Use this situation to bring them closer together in the name of Jesus. We commit them before you. And Father, we ask, Lord, that may your grace abound for the whole family.
Let reconciliation be the order of the day as they continue to stay and live together in the name of Jesus. We curse the spirit of divorce in the name of Jesus, that it shall not be so.
We thank you as you safeguard this marriage and we thank you, Lord, that as they figure out all the challenges around them, give them the wisdom to solve the things they cannot see and the things they will see.
I pray, Lord, as you open their eyes to the truth of this gospel, let the good news of these scriptures invade their paths and cause it to be reconciliation and peace in the home. We bless you and we honor you in the name of our Lord Jesus.
Father, we pray for JT, a college student who has a learning disability. We know there are so many parents who are struggling and who are dealing with the challenges of raising kids, who have learning disability or some kind of issue.
But Father, you have used everything for your good. So as we table kids who are dealing with a disability, and families that are dealing with disability. I pray for grace to abound, strength and wisdom, courage and boldness.
That Father, may they continue to do good without being weary. For in due season, the scripture promises us that we'll reap a harvest if we don't faint.
So I pray, Lord, for every parent that has the responsibility of raising a disabled child or a child who's dealing with some challenge, I pray, Lord, that may they not grow weary in well-doing.
And Father, while we are at that, we even pray for all of us as we continue to take care of aging parents. May we not grow weary in well-doing. We know there are numerous challenges that come with raising children and also taking care of aging parents.
But God, I know for a fact that Your Spirit, you have left us, will give us the strength, will give us the wisdom, will guide us in all things true, and in all things right.
And I pray, Lord, that every family and every single one of us who has the honor of raising children while also taking care of their grandparents, our parents, I pray, God, for grace to abound in the name of Jesus.
We pray for continued healing for all our seniors, that God, you're blessing them right now in the name of Jesus. We continue to lift up, Sarge. We say, rise up, get up in the name of Jesus.
We pray for strength to return so that your daily activities are renewed in the name of Jesus, we command the blessing of the Lord to be upon you, Sarge, and all our seniors. Mother Jones, Mother Mary, in the name of Jesus.
Mother Carrie, we pray a special blessing that God may continue to extend the quality of her life in the name of Jesus, I pray, Lord, that God, you will supply all their needs according to your riches in glory.
And Father, we lift up all aging parents, that God Almighty, we come against the spirit of dementia and all these post-mortem diseases that are affecting our seniors. And we pray, Lord, that amongst us, it shall not be so.
We pray for healing of the mind and strength and wisdom to do that which is right, to eat right and drink water in the name of Jesus. Bless all our seniors and we pray for grace and we pray for peace.
We send angels on assignment to protect them wherever they are and whatever they are doing. Mother Kerry, as she continues to drive around herself, I pray, Lord, for her protection in Jesus name. Father, we pray for Rachel.
We thank you for this healthy newborn grandbaby. We thank you, Lord, for this precious gift of life. So, Father, we thank you for your faithfulness, that may you give them the wisdom to raise this child in godly and spiritual things in the name of Jesus.
Let this child be a blessing to many in the name of Jesus. We command, Lord, her path to be straight, even as they continue, Lord, to dedicate this child to you. We thank you for your grace.
We thank you for open doors in the name of Jesus. Lord, we thank you for Bob, as she has gone through cardiac ablation for A-fib. I pray, Lord, that your healing, let it be a portion for Bob in the name of Jesus.
I pray that by the stripes, by the blood of Jesus, we command healing. We send a word to you, Bob, and say, get healed, be healed, in Jesus name. We thank you for the power of faith, Lord.
So as we exercise it, we exercise it for Bob, in the name of Jesus. Father, we thank you for all, for this community of believers, as we continue to come together in the spirit of prayer, in the spirit of studying scriptures, Bible study, and all the things that you have in store for us to do.
Father, I thank you that you have given us a mandate, a portion of your kingdom to hold, to preserve, to grow. And I pray, Lord, for your grace to abound in everything that we are doing.
We are resting in you, knowing, Lord, that you have given us a domain, a place to do that which you have called us to do in this hour as we join with brothers and sisters all over the world who are keeping faith and hope alive in their own jurisdiction.
So I pray, Lord, that the Word of God that is going out across this world, may it continue, Lord, to unite us in spirit, but to do that which you have called it to do.
We pray, Lord, for leaders across this world, church leaders, Father help them in their efforts to do right and to do well, to be the men and women of God you have called in this hour to shepherd your people.
Give us as pastors the ability to plow grass so that the sheep can eat in the name of Jesus. Bless the works of our hands. Bless the works of the one who sent us. While we serve You, Lord, may You serve our families in the name of Jesus.
We command the blessing of the Lord that adds to all of us, but that does not add any sorrow, or that does not come with any illegal attachments that God as we lift our hands to you, as you anchor us in spirit, that we are going to continue to carry this kingdom to anybody and everybody who might desperately need it.
Father, we thank you for your great divine power that is guiding us in everything that we are doing. And I pray, Lord, that in due season, we will reap a harvest as long as we don't faint. Strengthen the cause of Christ in us.
Strengthen your spirit in us. Your word says, whoever has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says. And Father, we do not want to miss anything in our ear. We want our eyes to be opened.
So Father, as we look in your direction, let grace be found for the weary and for those who desire to do the work of this kingdom. Bless us with strength. Bless us with courage, bless us with determination, and bless us with strength.
We know you gave us all power and all authority to exercise for the benefits of this kingdom. And I pray, Lord, that we never miss an opportunity to serve, and we never miss an opportunity to teach somebody about this kingdom.
Father, we thank you, for you have blessed us above measure. We thank you for what we possess. Help us to preserve it, and help us to be content in the name of Jesus. Bless us, Lord.
Like the psalmist says, Bless us, Lord, so we don't have to steal, and don't bless us too much lest we forget about you. So I pray, Lord, that as you add to our blessing, let our faith be strengthened and drawn as we expand the gift of God inside of us.
I pray for every gift to be accounted for, that God, as we serve one another, as we serve the world, that may people, may we make a concerted effort to love one another so we can present to the world the best case scenario that we are truly the sons of the Most High.
Father, we come against bad leadership that we are seeing across this country, men and women who do not care at all about spiritual things. Father, right now we feel constricted because of their deeds.
But we know for a fact that you still sit on the throne, you are the greatest judge, you see it all, you know it all. There is nothing hidden in this world that you don't have your eyes on.
So I pray, Lord, that may we not be subjected to what we are currently seeing. I know we are of this world, but Father, your word says we are not of this world, even though we are in this world.
So I pray, Lord, that while we survive in this world, give us the ability and the strength, the grace to rise above the issues of this world. And know, Lord, that the answer lies in us.
For your word says, if my people, who are called by my name, humble themselves and pray, and turn from their wicked ways, only then will you hear from heaven and heal our land. So we know the answer lies with us.
So I pray, Lord, may we be found in our place doing exactly what you have called us to do. May we humble ourselves, turn from our wicked ways, seek your faith, so you can heal this nation on behalf of its children.
Father, we know that all things will work together for those who are called according to your name. So Father, as we awake, for your spirit to only do what it does, we stand in faith that we will not be weary.
That we will not faint, but we will stand, eyes wide open, straight looking at the kingdom, as you turn our eyes away from worthless things and continue to direct us in the path of your command.
I pray, Lord, that may we continue to find you every single time that we put our knees to the floor, to lift our eyes to the heels where our help comes from. We thank you for strength and courage and boldness and determination.
May we not falter in the midst of challenges, but may we rise up as believers who understand the full authority and measure of this kingdom. May nothing surprise us, but Father, as we stand, may Your grace, Your power, Your authority.
Continue to be the anchor of our souls. I pray, Lord, for all of us. that as we rise, as we continue to stand in faith, may grace, above all else, continue to be our portion in the name of Jesus.
Father, we pray that today, may it be a day that we walk in expectation, all faith anchoring our thoughts and our minds, knowing Lord that as long as we have faith, that something is coming.
So Father, as we are awaiting great expectation, I pray Lord, for your peace to abound, and your strength to abound. Help us, help us, help us for we know, Lord, we cannot survive a day without you.
For your word even tells us that without you, we are nothing. So help us, Lord, in this hour. We know you're soon to come. So as we hold on to our faith, let it be seen, touched, felt, so that somebody, somewhere gets to believe in the name of Jesus.
We place every political leader before you. We know you have given us men and women to run the affairs of this world in order to preserve the sanctity of mankind.
But Father, we are titled being subjected to men and women who do not care whatsoever about spiritual things, that are causing strife to the souls of mankind because of their own desires to gain this whole entire world.
But Father, shall be it from it, that God they may cause strife in our lives. So I pray, Lord, may you exonerate us from the griefs of their minds that are contaminated with evil.
We send angels on assignment in every hallway where secret meetings are being held to bring truth, to bring order, and to bring correction.
We come against every narcissist behavior that has caused so much suffering and pain all across this world. We know we are in an era where we are dealing with world leaders that are incredibly narcissistic all over the world.
But God, we are trusting you because we know you hold the entire universe in your palm. So while we survive in this mess, while our lives are preserved in the issues and challenges of this world, we pray for those who are far away from you.
That God may the environment that we are currently in inspire them to find you while You’re still near. Father, thank you for your divine authority. We thank you for your grace.
We thank you for all that you are doing in our lives and in our families, in our children's children, in our grandchildren, the blessings we are, the gifts and talents they have, the doors you keep opening for them and for us.
I pray, Lord, that wherever anyone of our children, grandchildren or us are, may the Spirit of God be seen in us. All for causing somebody to believe in you, to expand the gift of God in this world. That's our desire.
So I pray, Lord, for opportunities for ministry to go forth and I pray for our homes. Let there be peace in our homes. We know how the devil plays. We know how he schemes. Oh, but we come against him and we flee, and we resist him, so as he flees away from us.
So I pray for peace in homes and in everything that we are doing. And I pray, Lord, that as you lead us today, may we continue to do the will of God in the earth. And lead us not into temptation, but continue to deliver us from the evil one.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever, Amen and Amen. Brothers and sisters, may the Lord bless you. May the Lord keep you. May His face shine upon you.
May you walk in victory in strength, courage, determination, boldness. May you never faint and or grow weary in well-doing, because there's a harvest that's waiting for you. I bless you. I bless your families.
I bless your children. I bless the works of your hands. I bless the works of the one who sent you. I bless your eyes to see remarkable things and I bless your ears to hear the Spirit of God.
And I bless your mind so that the mind that Christ has, like the scripture says, let it be in you also. And I bless everything that is connected to you.
And let there be peace in your homes, in your marriages, in your relationships. as we continue to walk together in this kingdom. Have an incredible, phenomenal Friday.
Walk in expectation, and we'll see you Sunday for Bible study. If you can’t join us Sunday, we'll be back here on Monday and may the Lord bless you.
