"Guard Your Heart"

There's a lot that's going on in our country, in the world. It's just chaotic. There's a lot of chaos. And the thing that I want to kind of maybe just have a conversation to just kind of put everybody on where we are and what's actually is happening.  

So, we all have a clear understanding of how to act, how to be, and how to deal with things that are coming. So, one of the things that happens when generations kind of change hands, right, which is what's going on, we have baby boomers that are on the other side of life.  

And they say by 2030, yeah, there were less than 10,000 baby boomers left in the world. That's what they're saying. Whoever is dealing with those statistics. And if they are here, right, the level of energy and strength they have always had, they no longer have.  

If let's say tonight we decide we're going to have an all night prayer, right? I know Mother John's heart would want to be there all night, participate and be part of the proceedings. But the reality is that her body won't allow her to do it.  

Sarge will definitely want to be there. But probably by midnight side, you'll be like, all right, let me find a nice little corner somewhere and just kind of rest a little bit, right? David, on the other hand, behind the sit up, David, on the other hand, right, is that you're probably up all night because he has the energy to do it and the strength to do it.  

So the reality now where we have a lot of seasoned pastors, bishops, men of God that used to anchor the faith that no longer have the strength to carry the weight and the Lord they've always had carried over the years.  

One, they are either dying off to they don't have the strength and the energy to do the things they used to do. So now mother Jones used to pray for everybody, the whole family. You will write everybody's names, right and pray for every person.  

And probably from 8 to 10 all the grandkids, you remember everybody. Right now, we say, tell us all the names of your grandkids. You might miss a few, you know, depending on who last came to visit you, right?  

So, so the strength to do the things that God has called us to do becomes difficult. Now, that's the generation that's leading our world right now. All over the world, we have these men.  

In fact, we are all sitting at the foundation they raised up from maybe 1940 coming up this way. Sandwiched between that is their children, which is us. We are capable. We are able. We still can run around.  

But the responsibility we now have is to take care of Mother Johns. Make sure Mother Carrie is doing good. Make sure Sarge is doing good. Make sure Mama Nina is doing good. But also I have to make sure David is doing good.  

Eva is doing good. So even though I have the energy to do it but I'm having to deal with two separate entities that have two separate demands because Mother Jones you now need me to pray for you. 

You might need me now to remember you to call you to make sure pass by Mother Carrie and check if she's doing good while I'm doing that I have to remember to pick Ava from school and I have to remember to pray for Ava.  

While I pray for Sarge, I gotta remember that over here there's somebody who is young and lost. This is where our world is. Now, Mother Kerry and her generation don't have the strength to go to battle and fight the devil.  

But the ones who have the strength to fight the enemy have to do too many things. And the ones that are coming behind, because they are existing in a generation where the flow of information is no longer the way it used to be, because Mother Jones now can't sit with Ava and talk to Ava. 

Even though she can, but they can relate. because of too many things that have transpired between these generations. So in response, the enemy now has filled day because the gate, nobody's guarding it. 

Because the whole family of mankind is busy. The people that used to anchor the gate the Mother Jones, the Mother Carrie can't stand at the gate and watch the enemy for two hours.  

They can't do it even though they want to, even though they know where he's coming. I can't do it because I got to take care of Mother Jones and I got to take care of Ava. Ava can't do it because he's trying to figure out where are we going.  

So the whole family of mankind is now in this difficult season and the devil is running rampant because there is nobody holding the gate. Grandpa thinks that what used to work used to work.  

I'm like no Grandpa there's different agendas now at school and grandpa is still praying for blessings, not understanding, no, the devil is knocking at the school now, introducing different things.  

What we do in response is just like, man, don't do that. But we don't stop and ask, why is this happening? Because the enemy knows. So if you study generations, and I've been kind of looking at this for these past few weeks. 

You realize when generations cross 1939, there's an older generation that's going out and there's new leadership that's coming in. Hitler is young, he's got different ideas. There's a generation that fought battles that's on this way out.  

He wants to introduce new ideas. and nobody can really back in because the ones that should don't have the strength to do it. So 49, so 39, 49, 50, the world went through a shift because this generation that we're crossing paths.  

We are going through it now for the next coming 10 years because generations are crossing paths. So this season, demands things from us and what it demands is how we respond to God.  

What do you do from Malachi to Matthew when God is silent? What do you do from Abraham, from Adam to Noah? When God has distanced himself. It doesn't mean we can't have church.  

It doesn't mean we can't have strength. It doesn't mean we can't have a place. That's why Noah was found righteous in the generation. So one man is found righteous in a wicked generation and God says I'm using him.  

So the reason I'm talking like this is because as generation starts crossing paths, what God is looking for is the ones that says, I will take it up. Who's the next? Again, we just read it a few weeks ago, right?  

God, what did God say to Samuel? He said to Samuel, why are you still mourning for Saul? Get up, dude, it's time. I want you to go and find the next. Stop mourning for Saul. And when you read that, Samuel, he had no idea what to do.  

That's why he end up taking his sons and things go haywire because he's unaware of what's going on. He's still mourning. For the last generation, instead of recognizing that men, where we are demands those who desire to actually really hear from God.  

Because what's going on right now, brothers and sisters, needs different spiritual solutions not what used to work, not what has worked before. Right now, when you think about the era of the 45s, right?  

45, 50, the world is crossing path and starts popping out men who have a different way of doing things and hearing things, and they start speaking. So now you have Malcolm X. You have Martin Luther King.  

You have all these different people that are popping up and saying things because there was a generation that needed to be addressed. And from then to now, we are all leaving because of the words they heard from the Lord.  

So when you think about all the things that were put in place for black people, from DEI and civil rights, that all stemmed from what? New ideas to govern a new generation. And those new ideas, we are all sitting on them.  

Now, the people that champion those ideas are doing what? Getting old and on their way out. And the devil now seeks to say, hey, that contract expired and let's get away with it because they no longer can defend their ideas.  

If Martin Luther King was still here, you probably defend his ideas. And the anointing that was placed on his life to do and to say what he was called to say, he will still have it. So which means you will challenge every position based from that anointing level that was given to him.  

But he's not here. So the responsibility we have as a body, right, is now, I'm going to give you a new responsibility, Mother Jones, Mother Carrie, Mama Nina, Sarge, right? You are that generation.  

Your job now is not to pray for blessings. Your job now is to be Samuel and say, hey, son, this is what the Lord is saying to me concerning the future. And now I have to lay my hands on you so that what God anointed me to do opens doors for you to hear from God, not to do, to hear from God. 

So we can do what's needed for the next generation. It's a very difficult and incredible task to find solution for a generation that is lost. Ask Noah, AHe spent years building the ark and trying to convince people.  

God says I'm coming. Get ready, build this ark, jump in there. No, dude, you don't know what you're talking about. This has never happened in our world. It's not going to happen. It's a difficult position.  

And some of the things I'm praying to the Lord, Lord, open my ears so I can hear differently because what used to work does not work anymore. The church that we used to attend does not exist anymore.  

And we're still trying to do church the same way it was done. And we're realizing it's not working. And what do we do? We are trying to gloss over things so that it continues looking the same way.  

And it's not going to work. That's why we're doing smoke machines and trying to do this and trying to do that and trying to bring panels and people to sit and talk about relationships And everybody has an idea, right? A podcast.  

Somebody gets bitten by a snake. The first thing they do is I'm going to have a podcast on snake bites. Somebody gets lost at the supermarket. He's going to have a podcast on supermarkets.  

Everybody's talking, nobody listening. Nobody's listening. The internet is like a cesspool of just madness. Everybody's swimming in it. Hearing everybody and everything. So by the day when the day comes, when it starts and ends, you have consumed so much garbage.  

That your ears are plugged that even when God speaks with a whisper you can't hear him because your his voice has been drowned and we can't hear it. So we have to strain hard to hear the Lord and the devil is like yes because the scripture says if you abide. 

In other words, if you listen to me and I abide in you. So right now it's one way. There is no abiding and abiding. Now what we are praying for, we can't even hear the Holy Spirit pray. I can't tell you how many places I've gone and churches I've been to when they say, can you pray?  

And I start praying and somebody starts playing soft music to accompany the prayer or drums to accompany the prayer. And I'm like, hey, hey, hey, I want to hear the Holy Spirit pray.  

So I can pray what he is praying. But if you do that, you are considered antiquated. You are old school. You don't, this is the 21st, this is how church is done now. There has to be music to accompany the prayer.  

So in the midst of the music, you start hearing notes and singing. If you go out to what people now call all nights of prayer, it's just a bunch of singing and two minutes of prayer and sing, sing, sing, sing two minutes of prayer and there is no praying going on.  

Because in order for you to pray, you have to humble yourself. And in order for you to humble yourself, you have to let go of your thoughts, your ideas and everything that you know and just throw it away so you can humble yourself so you can pray.  

And humble humility does not come because we made a decision to. Humility comes when you understand who is in charge. We've been talking about this last week, right? That once you understand how big God is, it humbles you to realize, man. 

That's why Isaiah says the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord. And the first his reaction was not, oh my God, I'm so blessed. I saw the Lord. Oh, wow. I am the champion. I'm going to start a podcast and tell you what I saw.  

But he says, whoa is me. Because I'm a man of unclean lips. And what does he do? He then prays back to the Lord. Look at his prayer. I asked, right? That's prayer. I asked the Lord, come and touch my tongue and deal with these unclean lips.  

Why? So that what I can pray is pure. But we don't want that. So we have to be careful now to hold our gaze and attention towards the Lord. To not be pulled by the noise because that's exactly what the enemy wants noise because noise will do two things. 

If right now I go everybody is going to hear it You're going to pay attention to it, and you're going to ask the question, what was that? And when you ask, what was that? If there's no answer, you now have to do what? Investigate.  

And so in the midst of hearing the Lord, what was that? It snaps you out of your focus and now. So why is all this is happening? Why is all this happening? We are still the same people, right?  

That heard from the Lord back then, right? This is, it's still us. It's not like we are new. This is us. The same people that experience all the good things. It's still us. Mother Jones is still the same person that went through civil rights.  

They had the Lord and prayed and all. That's still you. So why is this moment now no longer doing what it's supposed to be doing? Or why are we now is because everything that is transpired is now gone to the heart. 

We logically solve problems with our head. Spiritually, we think with our hearts. Guard your heart. Why? Because it is the wellspring, like wellspring. Says life begins where in the heart.  

Death and life is in the and the tongue is connected to the Heart. So you have the innermost right? The innermost part of you. Is the soul which is linked to the heart. So when God speaks to mankind he does not speak to the ears.  

Because we have never heard and neither are we going to hear the voice of God loudly, that's why he put all his words in the scriptures and that's why the scripture says the Holy Spirit is like a whisper. 

It cannot be heard by everybody it whispers, where does it whisper to your innermost heart. So when the Bible says guard your heart He's saying protect it from all the chaos. Because if you don't protect your heart, you will not hear from God.  

Praying becomes difficult. Hearing the Holy Spirit becomes difficult. Studying the Word of God becomes difficult because God does not talk to your mind. He talks to your soul. Your mind's responsibility is to interpret what the soul has received.  

This is why God speaks to us in dreams, because your mind and your ego is sleeping. So when you wake up, your mind now has to interpret what the heart heard. So with what I'm trying to get to guys, very simple, but extremely profound.  

You have to guard your heart because it is the wellspring. You have to guard your heart. We are at a place we now have to make decisions to not listen and to not hear certain things. Because you can't unhear it once you heard it. 

You cannot and when it hears, you hear it because there's three voices we have always talked we hear from, right? God's voice, the devil, and yours. If you miss God, whose next voice do you hear? Devil.  

So you don't want to get to a place where you have only heard the devil and you're trying to make sense of what he said because God's voice has been drowned out with the noise. Because now you are in a dilemma of wrestling with the devil without the right combination of tools. 

Put on the full armor of God, put on then it lists the things that you got to put on. I messed around I had no idea just to kind of give you a brief expose of what I'm saying. I didn't know who Charlie Kirk was. 

No idea I've never heard of the guy cause I'm paying attention cause my mind is focused on God what he's doing what's going on so I don't know the guy. David comes Dad Charlie Kirk died. 

I'm like who's Charlie Kirk Oh, people have been talking about it in school. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, right? I never stopped and asked myself in that moment, well, if I don't know the guy, there's a reason why I don't.  

And should I be concerned or should I. So I did what every normal human being does in the 21st century. I went to the internet, who's Charlie Kirk. So just to get to know and understand this dilemma, right?  

I then Google and spend pretty much maybe two days getting drowned in Charlie Kirk, who is he what did he say and I found out the longer I dove into who he is. The more my heart starts getting angry and then sometimes I'll be like, yeah, that was kind of true.  

He said over the, oh my God, why did you say that? So now in the end, right? I'm now conflicted. Now I had to ask myself, the first thing I always go to is that God is not the author of confusion.  

So if anyone is bringing confusion or his message is confusing, God is not the author because he is consistent with his message. But now I can't unhear this boy. This is why he is forever now enshrined into the hearts, not into the mind.  

He is enshrined into the hearts. Now, let me ask you a question, guys. Is that the Lord or is that the enemy? Cause hey, there are people who are praying to this guy now. He's now enshrined.  

Again, now I want you to think about this. Who was he going to? Think about what I've been talking about generations. Who was he going to? Because the enemy is trying to solidify a position for the next generation to follow.  

And don't quote me on this, but I will say it in my estimation, because I heard about what he was doing, that this year's event was the start of a 2038 city tour, to go and affect forget about messaging forget about him. 

I'm trying to say think about what he was what the enemy's intent is to drown out God's voice so that we forget that he is and we think man is. And once we do that, we are then doomed for destruction.  

We're doomed for destruction. So Charlie Kirk is now, and people are like, oh, he's the next, there's people here who believe he's the next Martin Luther King of our generation. Because there's this crossover that's happening, guys, it's a crossover.  

So from this year, guys, the thing that I want us to, number one, us who believe is to guard your heart. Don't be curious. Do not be curious, especially things that you know does not edify God.  

And does not at all accentuate your belief don't try to figure out how many years Diddy got, that has nothing to do with you and you will get nothing out of it you will not it will not accentuate your faith. 

It will not grow you in any way the only thing it can do is take your momentary focus from keeping your eyes on God. The children of Israelite, right, find themselves away in the wilderness.  

And while they're in the wilderness, snakes started attacking them. And God says to Moses, hey, raise up this snake and tell everybody, if you don't want to die, keep your eyes locked on this one.  

And anybody who tried to take their eyes off that, what happened? Snake bite. Because it was a metaphor. Keep your eyes locked on Christ. Keep your eyes locked on Christ. Do not lose focus.  

There is nothing that this president is going to say that surprises, that should be surprising anyone. We know that he's going to say something tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.  

So if you get mad, all you want the person will lose out the most. And by now, everybody here should know what the enemy is throwing is not what God desires to do. He does not have authority.  

So if somebody runs in your home today and say, hey, they're giving out cars out of over here, they're giving cars, you know, like, Toyota? You know Toyota ain't giving no cars to nobody for free.  

But if you're curious, what do you do? You drive to Toyota and you get there. Like, yeah, yeah, I hear you're giving away cars. No, we were not giving away cars. Somebody lost their vehicle.  

We thought we could just honor him and give him a car. Somebody says, oh, we're giving up because it's not happening. There are things that we should know by now that they are not happening because the devil is not capable of blessing anybody. 

So why should we think at all that he's going to bless? So there are seven things that we should know automatically once we hear it. Oh, okay, may the Lord bless you. Because I'm telling you, you take your eyes off.  

You get in a rabbit hole that you find difficult to get out of. In fact, Now let's think about what the Scripture says, right? The Scripture says there's going to be what? Deception. Okay, let's think about it.  

Does deception announce itself? Cause if it does, then that's not deception. Is deception readily seen? Cause then if it does, that's not deception. Deception demands that by the time you recognize that it has happened, you have already lost something.  

Then you can say, yeah, I was deceived. You can't say I was deceived before you lose anything. You only say deception existed after you have lost something. So when the scripture says, do not be deceived, it's literally saying to us, we have to be careful for things, of things that have the potential to take our focus away from God. 

Because by the time you realize by the time I realized I was deep into this I had investigated and figured out who's this guy how many kids here whose family is until I realized no. That's the enemy.  

Because there's certain things I just started just thinking, how come we never heard about his parents? He's not orphan. He has two loving mother and father parents that exist and a sibling.  

Because God is not the author of confusion. And if we understand, if this is confusing. that's not a Lord, sorry. And this has nothing to do with Charlie Kirk by the way. I'm just telling you the spirit that's in the country and it's been in the country, and it's been getting stronger and stronger. 

Why is it getting stronger? Because the generation that was holding the door can't do it anymore. And the generation that should be holding the door is busy taking care of that generation and that generation.  

And the devil is just like, this is perfect, nobody's watching. Nobody is watching. Moses, all the generation heard from the Lord go get the land I'm giving it to you. I've given you and God how am I going to do it here's the plan. 

He executes it meticulously and he saw God move saw the Red Sea, saw the plunder out of Egypt, the horseman and the rider, he gets out of Egypt, he's like, wow, man, what a God he delivers.  

Now that you're on the other side, Moses, the next journey is I want you to go take the land. You got it. The problem that Moses did, instead of him going, because he had the message, It's like, yeah, I'm gonna send spies.  

You're gonna spy the land. Why are you spying when you were told, go get it? Unless you are like, oh, really? I don't know, maybe. So he goes and spies, and who goes to spy? Next generation.  

Next generation comes with a different set of answers. Yo, we can't do it, man. This man, this grapes size of a human head. Instead of saying, wow, we're gonna eat good. He's like, we can't go.  

The grapes the size of human head. Go because why is Moses not pushing back? He's an old man, weary from the journey. He's exhausted. And he's hearing, he is now being drowned by the chaos.  

So the next time God speaks to Moses through his heart, speak to the rock and water will gush out. Moses took the rod and whooped Christ and God was like you got to come sorry that's it. 

And what's the end result for the next 40 years you're going to stay right here while I raise a new generation of people that are focused on what I am telling them to do. It took 40 years to raise the next leadership, Caleb, Joshua.  

Now get up, don't listen to these people, go get the land. And they want to start talking, oh, you know, Caleb Joshua was like hey, hey, hey, hey, hey I will wipe you because I'm not sitting here for the next 40 years, I will take every single one of you out if I have to. 

March don't say anything if I hear if I hear anybody on this line saying one word I'm taking you out everybody silent march when I say shout the little ones first everybody we all do it the same time if you don't want to shout right now I'm killing you march. 

That's what we need now people who are so connected to God that when you speak it's not let's debate V where you going over there where they are like oh come over here is nowhere when I speak because I heard from the Lord and I'm not sitting here 40 years.  

I'm not, I'm not. Because I'm not God is backing me. So hey this is what we are doing and we are doing it. Because this moment, this time demands It does not demand negotiation guys. If you are negotiating with the enemy you're going to get drunk because he's going to throw out ah you know congress is shut down.  

Oh my God. Ah Kirk or Trump said. Oh LA, Portland, generals, everybody. In one week you're like ah. Then you go to pray. Your heart, your heart is far from God. Because you have lost, you've been losing focus for seven days.  

So when now God says, hey, march, you're like, huh? Was it him? Why would he tell me too much? For what? I really have to go pray again. So now you go now on your knees again. And God is like, I'm not speaking again. I spoke already.  

So you're sitting there now waiting for the Lord to speak again. Four months go by and he's like, I spoke. What do you want me to say? I have too much to do on my plate. I want me to come back and tell you again, march.  

But the time that we lose, we might not get it back. We might not get it back. We might have to sit in the desert for the next 40 and just waiting. You're all going to get old and not see the Lord move.  

We're not going to get old to see the Lord just like, I know he said we're going to move. Now, I want you to imagine after all these that you saw in Egypt and getting out and walking on dry ground and get to the other side, and you are like, wow, we are marching into Zion.  

Praise the Lord. The worship is going, the tambourines are being prayed. Everybody's like, yes, the horseman and the rider is gone. Woo, we are going to the other side, we are here now. 

All we gotta do is just keep walking. And God's voice then gets drowned out. And the next is like, no, you're gonna have to sit here. You're gonna have to sit right here. Mother Jones, I want you to see all your grandkids and your son in church.  

Not next year not three years from now because you don't have that time you want it right here right now. Sarge we want such to see all the kids come to the Lord so you can pass and say man I did my job. 

 I walked with the Lord look at that what I leave behind. How we want them children, grandkids to all be in the Lord and say, yeah, I finally figured it out and the Lord, you gave me the spirit to do it.  

Look at them, grow. I'm marching into Zion knowing that yeah. So let's not get drowned in this mess. Cause it's a lot and it's designed to do that. The devil designed this intricately because his goal is to make you mad, so much mad that you forget your faith.  

So the scripture of the day, guard your heart. Above all else, guard your heart. If it doesn't contain you, I'm telling you, the Holy Spirit, you hear him tell him, because he did, he told me hey leave this alone. 

Oh I got to know I'm going to be curious I got to figure out what happened to him who is he what happened and rabbit hole rabbit hole and then when you get out of the rabbit hole oh the generals another rabbit hole. 

You get out of that oh my God Diddy, rabbit hole. You get out of that, oh my God, TSA, rabbit hole. The question that we need to answer, right, to just show you that all this is noise, is this.  

For all the things that have been said since January to now. Nothing has happened. We actually have forgotten what was said on January 1. Does anybody remember Dodge? Now, please just think about this, guys.  

It sounds like two years ago, right? Dodge was Dodge Department of whatever was three months ago. What happened to cutting Social Security, it's all noise and it's designed to get believers off there. 

Do you know how many gun uh shootings have happened in the US since January 18,850 people that have died of gun violence in the US. So what is what's this one is just one more.  

Do you know how many kids that have been kidnapped in the US to date 48,000 there's a child who's been kidnapped every four minutes. Cause the enemy is like, yo, it's open, man.  

Nobody's nobody in praying for this. Let's go. This is the time to just. Now think about what's being sown. That we will have to deal with 10 years from now. Think about the parents that are losing their kids.  

What 10 years from now look like. And we, God says this, you are the salt and you are the light. Quick story, because I had a conversation with April about this. There's a lady we used to live out here.  

She's pure maga. I'm totally die hard in it. She plays pickleball there with us. She's into it. and she post everything that is there to post about I mean that's it she will private message you yeah hell my God this is God moving you name it. 

It's just and I had to tell her I was like can you stop please what I thought you were a believer I'm like yeah I'm a believer I says politics has nothing to do with believing right so I had to right. 

So she posted something and then everyone was so mad about it and she end up posting some stuff back to her like I look at these people that were trigged to think that what was happening was Joe Biden and so April's sending her back. 

And she's just and now it's like so later on we start talking about I was like listen the reality is that this woman because you have sent her this you are never ever going to reach her again You can't be the light and you can't be the salt to this woman anymore.  

She is now literally holding on to her corner and she's never going to move. You have solidified what she was thinking. So now we, I said so again, and I like what you did, Vee a few weeks you and Calvin a few weeks ago. 

That has to be a template for how we respond to people because we want to be the light and the light cannot be drowned by darkness because once you get drowned too your response is going to be exactly like that. 

This is what made Jesus unbelievable because his response will cause you to go like not to think. It'll cause you to go open your heart and kind of look at it like. What is in here? If you don't have seen throw the first rock.  

Hey, what did you, what did he say? And people start walking away, man. So that's what we need Amen, Amen. So guard your heart. That's today's word guard your heart. Nadia, of course you are praying. 

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for this message that our earthly shepherd has given us today. This message was most definitely needed for the week that I have had. And I know others are going through other things also.  

We thank you for our earthly shepherd, Lord God, the man that he is, the calling that you have over him and his family, Lord God.  

And we thank you for each person on this call tonight and each person's family that is represented and the people that could not make it tonight, that we pray for them also in the gap that we stand for our brothers and our sisters.  

We thank you for this amazing night to reflect on what to discard and what we need to do in the times that we are in at this moment. To look out for our elders and our elders look out for us.  

Tonight we thank you for also being in the room Lord God. For always protecting us and walking with us in our time of need. Never leaving us nor forsaking us Lord God. We thank you for the armor that we put on each morning when we leave in to go into the world and to leave out of this world and to come back to our sanctuary of peace. 

Where you dwell, Lord God, because on this rock is where we build our church with you, Lord God. We thank you for this night. We thank you for the ones that love us and the ones that's connected to them and the ones that's connected to us, Lord God and these blessings we ask in Jesus magnificent name, Amen.
