Genesis 25-27

We are back in Genesis again. Let's start in 25. So I want us to think about this here. Noah, right? From the fall, Genesis 3, all the way to Noah, mankind is pretty much just left to his own device.

And what we get from that period is we actually get an insight of what happens to mankind when they choose to operate without God. So if you really want to know what we are capable of doing when there's not God involved.

That period from Genesis chapter number 3 all the way to Noah. And the Bible tells us that before the coming of the Lord, it's going to be just like the days of Noah, which means that period is essentially the same, is just the same as the period before the return of Christ.

So most of the things that you see going on in the book of Genesis earlier on and what we are seeing now, it's kind of pretty much similar. People do whatever they want. Evil is looked upon as good.

And people are trying to go to the moon and see where God lived. Just as much as back then in 6 of Genesis, they wanted to go and go see where God lives. And you can see it too.

If you think about our world and what's going on, it's just in this country, for example. you saw that story in Massachusetts. People lining up supporting this lady who just did what she did with their three kids.

So you see all these things and you're just like, surely this is where we are now? And it's not new. That's the thing about it. This is not new. This is not like, oh, wow.

This is what's going on because when mankind choose to live without God, whatever ideas that we come up with in our head, there is nothing that can stop us. It is what we just do in the same way.

So Noah comes and is the representation of salvation. That's who Noah is. Noah is salvation, build an ark, so you can rescue mankind, those who are willing to abide or to go on this journey.

Abraham is the how. Noah is the salvation. The how to do the salvation is Abraham. The how. Noah brings salvation. Abraham says, this is how you do it. You go back to listening to God. Whatever he tells you, do.

Wherever He wants you to go, you go. If He asks you for things, you give it to Him. If He puts a calling on you, obey Him. If you do something wrong, go back to Him. If you don't know, go back to Him.

When you mess up, go back to Him. Be quick to go back to God. So that's kind of the how of salvation. Noah is salvation. Noah brings salvation, but he doesn't explain how to do it. God then uses Abraham to show the how to do it.

So when Abraham dies in 25, he's gone now. He's gone and the establishment of faith back to God begins. it started with him but now the journey back to starts with with his sons so the account of Abraham's son Isaac.

So Isaac had two boys and one of the things you see in scriptures right You see this parallel of this war that's constantly existing in mankind. That this idea of peace that we all think of or the world pushes.

That one point we'll get to this place where there's just peace, it's not going to happen because there's this war that we are part of, of good and evil these two brothers that just exist at the same time.

That's why Paul says, When I'm doing good, evil is present. You can run from it. It's there. Whether you look for it, whether you're not looking for it, it's right there, just trying to insert itself in the picture, just as the onset of mankind's existence was.

Satan ain't going nowhere. until he gets bound and thrown into the pit of fire but as it stands he is constantly present looking for somewhere good is happening so he can insert himself.

So we go here and Abraham has two sons Isaac prayed for the Lord on behalf of his wife because she was barren and now you see Abraham is barren Isaac is barren. So this is kind of a reoccurring thing in this family.

Then Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife because she was barren. The Lord answered his prayer and his wife Rebecca became pregnant. The babies jostled each other within her and she said, why is this happening to me?

So this is not, oh, the baby's moving in the womb. This is jostling. This is something heavy going on in the womb, more than what we are accustomed to see.

Then the Lord answered his prayer and the babies jostled each other within her and she said, Why is this happening? So she went to inquire of the Lord. We see it again. This family has been taught to go back to the Lord.

I mean, think about it. This is babies moving in the womb. And she recognized-- mind you, she has never been pregnant before, so she doesn't know what this is. So she goes to the Lord.

How many people go to the Lord because the babies are moving in the womb? But you can see the culture that has been instilled in this family through Abraham. Go to the Lord for anything and everything.

So he goes to the Lord. The Lord said to you, two nations are in your womb and two peoples from within you will be separated. One people will be stronger than the other and the older will serve the younger.

When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in the womb. The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like hairy garments, so they named him Esau.

After this, his brother came out with his hand grasping Esau's heel, so he was named Jacob. Isaac was 60 years old when Rebecca gave birth to them, 60. The boys grew up, and Esau became a skillful hunter, a man of the open country while Jacob was a quiet man staying among the tents.

Isaac who had a taste for wild game loved Esau. So Isaac loves this son because of food, not because of character, not because of what he likes. And the boys grew up staying among Isaac who had a taste for what loved Esau but Rebecca loved Jacob.

Once when Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau came in from the open country famished. He said to his brother, quick, let me have some of the red stew. I am famished. That is why he was also called Edom.

Jacob replied, First, sell me your birthright. Look, I'm about to die, Esau said. what good is the birthright to me? But Jacob said, Swear to me first. So he swore an oath to him selling his birthright to Jacob because he was hungry.

And this is one of the things we also have to pay attention. I'm realizing that the things that trip up believers is never going to be big things. The things that are big that you know, like murder, that's big.

You never get your mind to get to that. It's always going to be the things that you're like, Eh, eh. Those are the things that trip us. It's never going to be big things, because the big things, we are aware of them, and two, we are always ready to fight.

It's the simplest little things that you are like, hey, I'm not going to take care of that. Nah, it doesn't really matter. Those are the things that grow inside of you until they are so massive that one day when you are hungry, hungry, choose to sell your birthright for food.

And he did it. Then Jachod gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew. He ate and drank, then he got up and left. So Esau despised his birthright.

Now there was famine in the land besides the early famine of Abraham's time, and Isaac went to Abimelech like king of Philistines in Gerar. The Lord appeared to Isaac and said, do not go down to Egypt.

Live in the land where I tell you to live. staying in this land for a while and I will be with you and will bless you for to you and your descendants I'll give all these lands and will confirm the oath I swore to your father Abraham.

I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all this land and through your offsprings all nations on earth will be blessed because Abraham obeyed me and kept my requirements, my commands, my decrees, my laws.

So you have requirements, you have things that God requires from us, then you have his commands, then he has his decrees, and then you have his laws, all those we must follow.

When the men of that place asked him about, now here comes verse seven, the sins of the father always visit what? Third and fourth and fifth. Here he comes again. When the men of that place asked him about his wife, he said she is my sister.

Just like his father said about Sarah, that's my sister. So like he's my sister because he was afraid to say she was my wife. He thought the men of this place might kill me on account of Rebecca.

Fear causes us to do stuff like this because she's beautiful. That's why he's like, they might kill me because she's beautiful. When Isaac had been there a long time, Abimelech, king of Philistines, looked down from a window and saw Isaac cursing his wife Rebecca.

So Abimelech summoned Isaac and said, She is really your wife? Why did you say she is my sister? And he answered just like his father. Isaac answered him, because I thought I might lose my life on account of her.

Then Abimelech said, what is this you have done to us? One of the men might well have slept with your wife and you would have brought guilty upon us.

So Abimelech gave orders to all of the people Anyone who touch man of his wife shall surely be put to death. Isaac planted crops in the land and the same year reaped a hundred fold because the Lord blessed him.

The man became rich and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy. He had so many flocks in the heads and servants that Philistines envied him. So all the wells that the father's servants had dug in time of his father Abraham.

The Philistines stopped upfilling them with earth. Then Abimelech said to Isaac, move away from us. You have become too powerful for us. So Isaac moved away from there, encamped in the valley of Geri and settled there.

Isaac reopened the wells that had been dug in the time of his father Abraham which the Philistines stopped up after Abraham died and he gave them the same name his father had given them.

Isaac's servants dug in the valley and discovered a well of fresh water there but the headsman of Gerar quarreled with Isaac's headsman and said the water is ours so he named the well Esek because they disputed with him.

Then they dug another well but they quarreled over that one also he named it Sitnah. He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land.

One of these months we will do a teaching on these wells, because you will see how deep they run all the way into the New Testament. From there he went up to Beersheba. That night the Lord appeared to him and said, I am the God of your father Abraham.

Do not be afraid, for I am with you. I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham. So this continues to and one of the things that I want us to see, God keeps coming to Isaac, reiterating the same thing that he told his father.

Now, out of that, We should be strengthened as believers because we are of Abraham's descendant. Because of his faith, we are. So what God is doing over and over again to emphasize the covenant that he made with Abraham still remains true even to us.

Because you can see him over and over coming back and reiterating the same thing. He said it before, he's gonna say it again and he's gonna say it again over and over again because that covenant of faith still stands today.

This is why you can see a person stray away from the Lord comes back into the faith still right there. Because of his faithfulness we are. Without him, we don't know the how to follow Christ.

We wouldn't know. But it's because of Abraham and what he did is that it's why you and I, we can get saved today. You can have no council, no pastor, nobody. You can get saved in the bush by yourself.

And somehow you wouldn't know what to do because of Abraham. Back then, they didn't have that. They didn't have the Holy Spirit. We have the Holy Spirit now. A quick story. One of the fathers of Zimbabwe, in fact, Bishop Ezekiel Guti, died a year ago, 101.

He was born way back then, 30s. Never went to school, because there were no schools back then in Zimbabwe. He gets a dream that one, there's a year somebody's coming and he's going to put a book in your hand.

He's like, how am I gonna read this? So years, I think about when he was 12 years old, missionaries came to Zimbabwe, and he was one of the recipients of the Bible. When he received the Bible, he could not read or write, and he didn't know what to do with it.

And he meets an angel that says, don't worry because God Himself is going to show you and to give you an understanding of this book. He died speaking 12 languages, never went to school, never went to no seminary, never went to, he probably is one of the largest churches in the world.

The forward in faith. No school. Because of the blessing of Abraham. Because it still stands today, I want you to think about it, it still stands today that God has to have numerous children from Abraham that believe in, that walk in faith.

That's us. And I think that's one of the things we don't really think about, that we are Abraham's children because the fact that we chose to believe we are his children. Just you and Isaac are siblings because of this faith, because of this faith that we now walk in.

There's no reason for us to believe, but we believe in God. We wake up every morning and do morning devotions because we believe in God, just like Abraham did. And this blessing is following after us.

This is what's making believers become believers. Where are we? Vee, where was I? I think you were verse 22, 23, 24. That night the Lord appeared to him. So that night the Lord appeared to him and said, I'm the God of your father, Abraham.

Do not be afraid for I am with you. I'll bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham. Isaac, just like his father, built an altar there and called on the name of the Lord.

There he pitched his tent and there his servants dug a well. Meanwhile, Abimelech had come to him from Gerar with Ahuzzath, his personal adviser, and Phicol and the command of his forces.

Isaac asked them, Why have you come to me since you were hostile to me and sent me away? They answered, We saw clearly that the Lord was with you. So we said, There ought to be a sworn agreement between us, between us and you.

Now this here if we think about the Bible in Ephesians it says when you get saved you are marked for Christ now I want you to think about this this man is doing what he's doing but they see clearly that surely there's something on him and this is true for all of us.

This is why, in our interactions with people, people can either gravitate towards you, can point out things in you, can just say, I don't know why I just like you, or you have heard stuff like that before, right?

Or your boss just gives you favor, Calvin. It's not because somehow you are nice. is because there is something that God puts on you that people surely, clearly will see and say, Nah.

They might not know what that is. They might not even be able to explain it. But it sits on you. Have you ever been around a group of people and you just find your people? Just like, Yeah, that's my people.

Like, how do you that's just my people. out of a bunch of people because God has made sure that you and I, whatever that is we are carrying, people are able to see it.

This is why I always say it's very easy to actually, if you think about it, it's very easy to actually minister to people and bring them to salvation. Because the moment you open your mouth, they will see clearly.

There's something different about you. Let us make a treaty with you that you do us no harm just as we did not but always treated you well and send you away in peace. And now you are blessed by the Lord. Isaac then made a feast for them and they ate and drank.

Early the next morning the men swore an oath to each other then Isaac sent them on their way and they left him in peace. That day Isaac's servants came and told him about the world that they had dug, they said, we have found water.

He called the Sheba. And to this day, the name of the town has been Beersheba. When Esau was 40 years old, he married Judith, daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and also Basemath, daughter of Elon the Hittite.

They were a source, Bible man, they were a source of grief to Isaac and Rebecca a source good choice of words there a source of grief to Isaac and Rebecca since 40 years later Jacob gets Isaac's blessing.

When Isaac was old and his eyes were so weak that you could no longer see He called for Esau, his old son, and said to him, My son, here I am, he answered. Isaac said, I'm an old man now and don't know the day of my death.

Now then get our weapons, your quiver and bow, and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me. Prepare me the kind of tasty food I like. Here we go again. The reason he is choosing this boy is because he loves goat stew.

Not because of what God is saying, but because he just have a taste for goat stew. So I was like, hey, here it comes again. Go find me some food and bring it to me to eat so that I may give you my blessing before I die.

Now Rebecca was listening to Isaac, spoke to his son Esau. When Esau left for the open country to hunt game and bring it back, Rebecca said to your son, Jacob, look over your head.

Your father said to your brother Esau, bring me some game and prepare me some tasty food to eat so that I may give you my blessing in the presence of the Lord because before I die. Now, you always hear people say Esau stole Jacob's blessing, right?

God had intent on his eyes were on Jacob. That's where his eyes were on. But because the father did not deal with his own internal conflict, that he never resolved, he kept making the same mistake, not because of what God was saying to him.

But because he just loved meat. So the love of things, the loves of feeding the flesh can literally derail you or cause you to look the opposite way. I've seen people make decisions because of food.

And there's one here. The Lord has commanded Abraham this is what's going to happen, and this is. he's going to go this boy is choosing to go the opposite route because not because of what God said.

Because what happened because of how he wants to taste food six inches from the tongue to the back here he's making a decision to alter what God has in place but Rebecca has sense That's why the Bible says wife become a helper.

The how, of course, it's a whole different story. So the mother said to him, my son, let the curse fall on me. Just do what I say. Go and get them for me. So he went and got them and brought them to his mother and she prepared some tasty food just the way his father liked it.

Then Rebecca took his best clothes of Esau, the older son, which he said in the house, put them on your younger son Jacob. She also covered his hand with smooth part of his neck with goatskin.

Then she handed to her son Jacob the tasty food and the bread she had made. He went to his father and said, my father, Yes, my son, he answered, who is it? Jacob said to his father, I'm Esau, your son, firstborn.

I've done as you have told me, please sit up and eat some of my game so that you may give me your blessing. Isaac asked his son, how did you find it so quickly? The Lord your God gave me success, he replied.

Then Isaac said to Jab, come near so I can touch you, my son, to know whether you really are my son, Esau or not. Jacob went close to his father's, to his father Isaac who touched him and said, the voice is the voice of Jacob, but the hands are the hands of Esau.

And we can see a man in conflict who doesn't know his own sons for whatever reason. He did not recognize him for his hands were hairy like those of his brother Esau. So he blessed him. Are you really my son Esau?

He asked, I am. He replied. Then he said, my son, bring me some of your game to eat so that I may give you my blessing. Jacob brought it to him and he ate and he brought some wine and drank.

Then his father Isaac said to him, come here my son and kiss me. So he went to him, kissed me. When Isaac caught the smell of your clothes, he blessed him and said, Ah, the smell of my son is like the smell of the field that the Lord has blessed.

May God give you of heaven's dew and of earth's richness and abundance of grain, new wine. May nations serve you and peoples bow down to you. Be Lord over your brothers and may the sons of your mother bow down to you.

May those who curse you be cursed and those who bless you be blessed. After Isaac finished blessing him, Jacob scarcely left his father. Here comes Esau. He too prepared some tasty food and brought it to his father.

And he said to him, My father, sit up and eat some again so that you may give me your blessing. Father said, Isaac asked him, Who are you? I'm your son. He answered, Your firstborn Esau as it trembled violently.

And said who was it then that hunted game and brought it to me? I ate it and just before you came, I blessed him and indeed he will be blessed. Now think about it. Esau gave away the blessing earlier on because he was hungry.

And I think all this is happening because of that, he started this whole thing but he said to your brother come and deceive you and took your blessing Isa said isn't he rightly named Jacob he has deceived me these two times.

He took my birthright and now he has taken my blessing. Then he asked, haven't you reserved any blessing for me? Isaac answered Esau, I have made him lord over you. Now, I want you to think about the power of the tongue here.

Because you, I mean, you could say it to Esau. He has already pronounced this blessing. He's like, Don't you have any more kind words to say to me?

I'm like, no, Lord, you made your relatives, his servants, have sustained him with grain and new ones, so what can I possibly do for you, son? Esau said to his father, do you have only one blessing, my father?

Bless me too, my father. Then Esau wept aloud. His father Isaac answered, your dwelling will be away from the earth's richness. away from the Jew of the heaven above, you will live by the sword, and you will serve your brother, but when you grow restless, you will throw your yoke from off your neck.

Esau had grudge against Jacob because of the blessing his father had given him. He said to himself, The days of mourning for my father are near, then I'll kill my brother Jacob. So you have a brother who wants to kill.

You can see now, back then you have the first family brother who murdered his brother. Now you have this second one who wants to kill his brother for a blessing.

When Rebecca was told what her older son Esau had said, she sent for her young son Jacob and said to him, your brother Esau is consoling himself with the thought of killing you.

Now then, my son, do what I say. Flee at once to my brother Laban in Haran. Stay with him for a while until your brother's fury subsides. When your brother is no longer angry with you and forgets what you did to him, I will send word for you to come back from there.

Why should I lose both of you in one day? Then Rebecca said to Isaac, I'm disgusted with living because of these high type women. If Jacob takes a wife from among the women of this land from hated women like these, my life will be not worthy living.

We can see this war of two spirits, this is the metaphor behind these boys, good and evil one always trying to up the other and whenever it gets an opportunity he will kill the devil came to steal kill and destroy the ultimate goal is to take you out.

But we can see God's intervention though, because He is protecting what He has in store. Just as much as you and I and the things that the Lord wants to do with you in your life, God has an obligation to protect those.

That's why we are all here. That's why we are all doing what we are doing because God is protecting for Himself the things that He wants to do with you in the future. If you look at this whole story and everything that takes place, it's chaotic.

This is a dysfunctional home. This is dysfunctional but God has a vested interest to honor Abraham, that you do whatever it takes to make sure, this is why I believe the church will never die, because God has an invested interest to protect what He swore.

God swore this to Abraham, that you and I will walk in faith. He swore it. And he's gonna protect it in spite of us. In spite of the things that we do, in spite of the church functioning the way it is functioning, in spite of all the other crazy stuff that we are hearing.

At the end of the day, God will protect what He owns because if you could just stop and think about the things that we have all endured, even back then when we were not walking with God, recklessly doing God knows what.

But because God saw this day, Calvin, like, man, what are you all going to gather and study the word of God and do morning devotion? 20 years ago, while you were busy, do what? God is just like, you know, no, don't kill him.

No, don't do that to him. Protect him. Protect this one. No, you can't do that. Keep Mother Jones. no civil rights and all this other stuff, not now because I have an invested interest and I swore to Abraham and I'm holding that hand and say, yeah, anybody who's going to believe years from now.

And I'm saying this today because this is in preparation to all the things that we will see and hear. If you keep your eyes on this one fact, God has an invested interest that He is willing to guard to protect in spite of who cheats who, in spite of who says what.

In spite of Rebecca doing what she's doing, in spite of Jacob and his dysfunctional self, in spite of everything that's going on in this family and Isaac and all that I swore to Abraham, the father of faith, I swore to him that you have sons as numerous as the stars.

Anybody who believes like you is going to be your son. And I'm going to protect that. Because think about it. What is heaven without us? For God, His desire is to have us with Him.

That's why Jesus says, I'm going to go prepare a place so I can come and get you so you can be with me. So that invested interest safeguards a lot of things in spite of what we will do, the mistakes we will make.

In spite of that, God is an invested interest. Not because of you, but because of Abraham, and what he swore on earth. That's why he kept repeating it over and over and over to these boys because I want you to get it too.

Just as much as father got it, I want you to know I got you too. I have you too. And this is the story of Genesis. We are now seeing the how. Noah gives us salvation, but through Abraham and his lineage, we are seeing the how of how God has a plan.

And it was so massive. None of these men walking around here know of Jesus coming. He's just working it out to protect that. So when you read the end of the Bible and you see what it says about us, God wants to protect that, to make sure that will come to pass just as he said it will.

So whoever is in his quiver, whoever is part of His entourage, God will safeguard everything that belongs to Him, everything that He wants to see so that we can get to the destiny. All this is happening because God is thinking of Jesus.

That's how far his plan went. This is why you always hear me say that there are certain things that God will slow us down from doing because He needs to get certain things in place and make sure that one is in place.

So that when the domino effect and this thing is pushed, everything fall in place because everybody is in the right place. There's certain things that God will do for us when the people that we don't know, that He's working on somewhere.

He's gonna one day throw at us and just say, hey, I wanna hang out with you all. I mean we can we can is Kelly here you know you can think of Kelly that when we were starting this and getting early morning and doing all we never thought of that.

But God says, okay, I gotta get you here and get this and get this one over and get this one here and this one over here and this one over here because I have an invested interest somewhere that I'm working on.

And when all this falls in place, boom and boom, and you're like, wait a minute. So this is why He always says my ways are not your ways. My thoughts are higher than your thoughts. It's not similar at all.

So in spite of what was happening in this household, I mean, what kind of a father who doesn't know his son's voice that you get tricked by ghosts It shows you what was going on internally here in this man.

I'm sure he had issues. His father tried to kill him. I'm sure he dealt with that, too. So it's just a dysfunctional home. But thank God mother knows what was said and what needs to happen.

We don't know. He saw himself. He came and said, hey, I'm hungry. What is the birthright? I want to eat right now. So years later, he forgot about the birthright, that he gave it up because of food.

Now he's saying, oh, you deceive me. You gave it up for food. And you can see what's in Esau is what's also in his father, the love of meat. the sins of the Father.

This is why another segway to you all mothers and wives, daughters, pray for the men around you because the responsibility that God has instilled in us is beyond what we can fathom with our own minds.

It scares me to think that I have the ability to affect people 4 generations from now I will never meet. That's a scary proposition. So I got to watch what I do. Because of people who are coming 4 generations from now that might have to deal with stuff I can't deal with.

That's a scary proposition. Some of the things we are dealing with now, Calvin, People that we never met. We don't know what they were doing 4 generations ago, but here we are. We got to deal with that.

Even in Abraham, the father of faith, his issues affected generations later. You see it in the next family, it doesn't end with Isaac you see it in Jacob and his 12 children dysfunctional too.

I mean it goes all the way deep to Solomon and David over there. It's a huge responsibility that's why God says you all need help. So pray for your sons, the men around you, uncles, nephews, because we need it.

We need it. But the lesson for today is to, I want us to walk with this thing in our head. God will protect what He has in store for us. Whatever, even our dysfunction, we might go but it doesn't mean what he wants to do is not going to take place.

That's why I say the church will never die. We might die, but the church will always be here. Because it's his vehicle. He started it. He knows what's going on. He needs what needs to happen. So that's why I don't get shocked when I see crazy stuff.

I'm like, yeah. You might gather for 20 years not knowing that you're no longer in the kingdom. Which is another scary proposition. So let us be encouraged and know that God will protect that He has in mind that He wants to see.

In spite of the economy, in spite of presidents, in spite of people, in spite of you doing the wrong thing. He will protect what He wants done. And we see it in this family, as dysfunctional as it was.

Because that's the other part we never hear about how dysfunctional this family was. Even Abraham, his wife finding like, yeah, I don't think God is going to do this. Just take my servant over here and go have a son. And then he comes back and is like, no. I want you to kick this woman out of here.

Well, you started this. Now you don't want her here. Yeah, send her packing. Dysfunctional household. But the thing that sustained them is not that they were perfect or any, it's not because of that.

Because they always went to God always, even for things like babies fighting in the womb yeah I gotta go to God why is this happening so that's the thing that I want us to make sure we are good at.

Go to the Lord don't understand uh a computer software program, we go to the Lord. As simple as it sounds but it's just knowing that we're trusting in the Lord and not leaning in our own understanding and as long as we continue to acknowledge him.

He's going to make our path straight and we see it this journey is to get to Jesus. So as crazy as all this is happening I'll make it I'll make this path straight at some point, Amen. My sister Vee is gonna pray.

Merciful Heavenly Father, we thank You for another opportunity to join together, to fellowship together, to cross time zones, to cross the miles, to cross the states Heavenly Father, to learn more of Your word.

To continue to be transformed and fed by Your word, to continue to understand everything that You promised from way back when we are seeing fulfilled Heavenly Father. Thank You, Heavenly Father, that we know You are God who honors all of Your promises, Heavenly Father.

We can stand sure-footed in knowing, Heavenly Father, that we are children of Abraham because we believe. And we are here right now because You have ordained it so, Heavenly Father.

We know that we were born for a time such as this, Heavenly Father. So I pray now for each and every one of us gathered together on this Zoom call and those that will listen, Heavenly Father, I pray that we will walk in the destiny that You have prescribed already for us, Heavenly Father.

I pray that we will walk in confidence, that we will not be shaken Heavenly Father that and we thank You Heavenly Father that we have Jesus our Lord and Savior as our advocate Heavenly Father who is seated at Your right hand.

Even now in this moment aware of us knowing each and every one of us by our names, knowing what each and every one of us needs Heavenly Father, knowing those secret dark places in our hearts, knowing everything that is weighing us down.

Jesus knows, Heavenly Father. And we thank You that because Jesus came in the flesh, He relates. He is not standing afar off. He is not distant, but He is sympathizing with us.

But more valuable than sympathizing with us, He is empowering us with the power of the Holy Spirit who He sent because He promised that He would never leave us or forsake us. And He promised that Your Holy Spirit will fill us.

So we're praying now, Heavenly Father, for a fresh filling of Your Holy Spirit as Your word says, keep being filled. So we pray now, Heavenly Father, for each and every person under the sound of my voice.

That Your Holy Spirit will cover, will fill, will equip, will empower, will bring healing where healing is needed will bring comfort where comfort is needed, will bring hope where anxiety threatens to overwhelm, and will encourage Heavenly Father to do everything You are calling us to do.

Let us be like our forefathers of the faith and call out to You, Heavenly Father, with everything that troubles us, call out to You when we're feeling happy, call out to You when we're feeling sad, call out to You when we're feeling anxious, call out to You when we're feeling overwhelmed.

So I thank You now, Heavenly Father, for my brothers and sisters in Christ, and I pray that You will bless them bless their homes, kick out the enemy, let Your Holy Spirit so fill each and every one of our homes, Heavenly Father, that there is no room for the enemy to make his home either in our homes or in our hearts, Heavenly Father.

So I thank You, Heavenly Father, once again, for Your servant, I pray for You to continue to anoint him in the calling that You have for his life. And I pray for Your protection over his family, Lord.

Protect their home inside and out. Keep out the enemy in Jesus name, Heavenly Father. And I pray the same for everyone gathered here. Let us walk in Your anointing, confident, confident that we are Yours and we are in Christ and Christ is in You.

We love You, Heavenly Father. We praise You. We glorify You. We magnify You. We give You all the glory and honor in Jesus name in the name of Jesus, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen.
