"We Are The Salt And The Light For This Generation - Altars In High Places"
Let's go to Judges 3, Judges, Judges. Alright I want to show you something about generations. You know, I think we're going to teach on this probably until the year comes to the end, unless God throws something in the mix of it.
Alright so Judges chapter number three says this. These are the nations the Lord left to test all of those Israelites who had not experienced any of the wars in Canaan. He did this, God, only to teach warfare to the descendants.
You can substitute that word to the generation of Israelites who had not had previous battle experiences. Then it lists the five rulers of Philistines, all the Canaanites, the Sardinians, the Hivites, living in the Lebanon mountains of Mount Baal-Hemon and Lebo-Hamath.
They were left to test the Israelites to see whether they would obey the Lord's commands which he had given the previous generations through Moses. So from Jericho to Judges to this particular they're defeating everybody on their way but then God in his wisdom decides.
Yeah, we're going to leave five nations that you are not going to defeat. I'm going to leave them there to torment you. Because this generation here does not have battle experience. They don't like to fight.
They have no history of warring in the spirit. They are not aware of the challenges that the previous generation had to go through in order to attain the freedoms they now enjoy. So God used these five kings of Palace of Philistines and the Hivites.
And then the Sidonians Lebanon mountains to make sure that this group can be tested to prove their faith. God did it not the kings not God did it and from judges we see all these judges come into play, right?
The problem with the nation of Israel, which is pretty much human problems, is that we celebrate victories, but then we enshrine people. And now, the enshrinement of people is done in order to commemorate and in order to show respect.
But over time, it becomes a high place. This is why they could not find the body of Moses because if the children of Israelite had found the body of Moses they could have built a massive monument and would have refused to move or go anywhere and leave Moses there.
And you see it throughout this history that they are building altars whenever they get a little victory they'll be like yeah let's build an altar here. Now, this is the problem that we have as a human specie when we are dealing with the devil.
We pretty much have a disadvantage when we are dealing with the devil in that we cannot see the demonic world. We cannot see it. The only time we see it is when something has happened.
There's a spiritual attack. Now somebody is sick or something is going on. Now we're like, oh my God, there was a demonic spirit working and in every church, in every service, every gathering.
There's always going to be an element of the demonic spirit present because the Bible says when the word of God is preached right it says the spirits try to snatch it up so that somebody does not hear what's being spoken of spiritually.
This is why you can be in a service and the word is going out. You have one group saying, yes, preach and the other group is because there is spiritual warfare that's going on in the background that is snatching the word of God before it goes and accomplishes something.
That's a disadvantage because we can't see it. Another disadvantage we have is that the spirit world, the devil, has been in operation since the dawn of mankind. Since man was placed on earth and he comes and he goes through Adam and he was invited to this place.
He has been in operation since then. Which means he is aware of what the previous generations have dealt with. He's aware of things that works. He's aware of things that do not work. And he's aware of certain things that works with families.
Like I've always said, he knows the history of your family better than you do. The stuff that you're dealing with, is probably stuff that five generations ago somebody dealt with. The other disadvantage is that the demonic spirit world has an agenda kill steal and destroy.
It's not a maybe, it's not sometimes, that's just, it's as an agenda. Whether you have done something or you haven't done something, it's not like, oh, you did something, now let's attack you.
No, it's just outright agenda. I remember growing up in my grandmother's village, the boys, we used to live, I think, about seven houses down. Every time we met those boys, it doesn't matter whether it's a Monday or a Sunday, they just wanted to fight.
Every time, every time I mean, it was just exhausting that, jeez, do we have to do this every day? So we end up avoiding going through that route because that place became a high place.
Now, this is how high places are built. And the reason I'm teaching this is because I want us to understand that as believers, there are things we are called into that could be high places and altars, and you're not aware of it.
Because you have good intentions, you can end up building altars in high places, and God won't be pleased with those. So as an example, let's take Monica. Monica, you have nieces and nephews, right?
No nieces and nephews? All right, let's take Dorothy has nieces and nephews. Dorothy wakes up and she has an encounter with God in Mississippi. And the Holy Spirit is so strong that day that Dorothy experience spirit time where she spends two weeks unbeknownst to him in prayer.
And when she comes out, she realized that oh my God, everybody's been looking for me. And, and Dorothy is like, wait, I just went in there to pray yesterday. Said, no, no, no, it's been two weeks.
What happened? Dorothy's place is glowing and she's just prophesying and touching and healing everybody. Every niece, every nephew gets saved, every family member says oh my God Dorothy has been used by God.
Now they are children of the nieces and nephews 10 years 20 years from now oh we have to take you to Auntie Dorothy's house, because I want to show you this room where she experienced God then they come and go.
Then their children end up coming to the same place. Until 40, 50 years later, the whole entire family takes Thanksgiving at this place. And they develop rituals and things in order to remember and to commemorate Auntie Dorothy.
But what ends up happening is that the place becomes the place they worship rather than to worship the God that brought about this event. And now, as we come to this place every single day and every single year.
Nothing happens, but we're going to continue coming every year and year after year and nothing happens, nobody's getting healed, nobody's happening, but this becomes a ritual of some things that we do because Auntie Dorothy, 50, 60 years ago, experienced God here.
That place, even though the intentions are good, becomes a high place. Now, the children of Israelite, repeated this mistake over and over again. They forgot the God and focused on the place and what took place over here.
And they build high places, places of worship where God did not exist. Now, every generation has its own high places. Every generation has its own high places. Demonic altars, things that we worship unbeknownst to us.
And, and we, if we are not careful, we're going to teach the next generation to serve at the same altars. And God is not pleased with those. So every generation has to deal with high places and demonic altars.
The scripture says when the devil is kicked out, he goes to what? A dry place. What is a dry place? A place where God is not. And he sits there waiting for somebody to show up to a dry place.
And if somebody shows up to a dry place, you end up leaving with something. So every generation has a responsibility. Number one, God is a God of covenants that he passed from one generation to the next.
So we have a responsibility to uphold the covenants that God has with mankind that are supposed to be passed on from one generation to the next generation. Number two, we have a responsibility of passing truth.
The story of faith, it has to be passed through. Then as we remember, we have a responsibility not to focus on place, but focus on the God who created the place. Then the fourth thing, we have a responsibility to make sure that we break cycles.
If you are aware of a cycle that has been reoccurring in your family, you have a responsibility to break it. Because if you don't, it's going to become a high place. Now, the children of Israelite, God instructs them to build the Ark of the Covenant.
I'll come and dwell with you amongst you. And I will raise amongst you priests that will serve as a goal between you and I. I'll give them instructions and you follow. Instead, when they see the cloud, you have to move because I don't want you to stick around in this place and build a monument and end up worshiping a monument.
And again, you see it in Exodus. Moses goes up, he spends a bunch of months with the Lord. He comes back, they build a golden calf. A high place to worship the Lord intentions good.
But their intentions good but the methodology and everything they are doing totally wrong so they build a high place and they are worshiping this golden calf, God was not pleased.
Instead of worshiping God, they worshiped a place so you see it in their journey that at some point God gets so irritated with them that he says, well, you better leave this ark here and go on your way. I'm not walking with you and dealing with you.
Go get your act right until you have it right, you can come get my presence. And they leave the ark at Obed-Edom's house. And they go on until David comes to get the Ark.
Now, the book of Kings which is where we are going, is that it's full of men and women of God, kings that God placed in their midst, and they were so good at building high places and worshiping them.
So let's go to 1 Kings 3, Solomon made an alliance with Pharaoh of Egypt and married his daughter, he brought her to the city of David until he finished building his palace and the temple of the Lord.
So Solomon finally builds the temple. Now we have a place of what? Worship. But Solomon goes and marries Pharaoh's daughter for political reasons.
So, cause the reason Solomon end up with a thousand wives is because he was marrying from every king that he thought might fight them. So that if you come to fight me, your daughters are here. That's what Solomon was doing.
Now, the people, however, so now the temple is sitting. There's a place of worship, verse number two. The people, however, were still sacrificing at the high place, because a temple had not yet been built for the name of the Lord.
Solomon showed his love for the Lord by walking according to the instructions given to him by his father, except, so he's doing everything right, following commandments, instructions, except that he offered sacrifices and burned incense away, demonic places.
God was not pleased, even though the temple was in the place. He could have gone and worshiped the Lord, but instead he went to a high place and built an altar and burned sacrifices and offering to seek the Lord.
1 Kings chapter 11. 1 Kings 11. So he had seven or King Solomon, however, loved many foreign women besides Pharaoh's daughter, Moabites, Ammonites, the whole list.
They were from nations about which the Lord had told the Israelite, you must not intermarry with them because they will surely turn your hearts.
Not them, they will turn your hearts after their gods. Nevertheless, Solomon held fast to them in love. He had 700 wives of royal birth. 700 of royal births from kings. And his heart was not fully devoted to the Lord, his God, as the heart of David, his father had been.
He followed Ashtoreth, the goddess of Sidonians, and Molek detestable god of the Ammonites. So Solomon did evil in the eyes of the Lord. He did not follow the Lord completely as David, his father, had done.
On a hill of Jerusalem, Solomon did what? Build a high place for Chemosh, the detestable God of Moab, and for Molech, the detestable God of Ammonites. He built an order for the devil while he's following the commandments of the Lord in the church.
His father's instructions, everything that David gave him, he's following after him. But he decided as a place of worship, I'm gonna build a high place. Let me look for my scripture here.
Verse six, the king of Rehoboam consulted the elders who had saved his father Solomon during his lifetime. How would you advise me to answer these people? He asked. They replied, if today you will be a servant to these people and serve them and give them a favorable answer, they will always be your servants.
But Rehoboam rejected the advice the elders gave him and consulted the young men who had grown up with him and were serving him. He asked them, What is your advice? How should we answer these people who say to me, lighten the yoke of your father, put on us.
The young men who had grown up with him replied, these people have said to you, Father, but you have a yoke on us, but make our yoke lighter. Now tell them, my little finger is thicker than my father's waist.
My father laid on you a heavy yoke, and I will make it even heavier. My father scourged you with whips. I will scourge you with scorpions. Three days later, Jeroboam and all the people turned to Rehoboam as the king and said, come back to me in three days.
The king answered the people, harshly rejecting the advice given him by elders. He followed the advice of the young man, said, My father made your yoke heavy, and I'll make it heavier. My father scold you with whips, I'll scold you with scorpions.
So the king did not listen to the people, for his turn of events was for the Lord to fulfill the word the Lord has spoken to Jeroboam son of Nebat through Elijah, Ahijah, Shilonite. When all Israel saw that the king refused to listen to them.
They answered the king, What share do we have in David? What part is Jesse's son? To your tents, Israel, look after your own house, David. So the Israelites went home, but as for the Israel who were living in towns of Judah, Rehoboam and still over them.
King Rehoboam sent out of Adoniram, who was in charge of the forced labor, but all Israel stoned him to death. King Robo, however, managed to get into the chair and escaped Jerusalem. So Israel had been in rebellion against the House of David to this day.
Now, I want you to think about this man and the legacy and history and what's going on now because of what previous kings have done. Now we have this belligerent man because previously somebody was offering altars on high places and now it's affecting decisions and the next generation.
Then Jeroboam fortified scam in the hill country of Ephraim and lived there. From there he went out and built up Penel, built another high place. If these people go up to offer sacrifice at the temple of the Lord in Jerusalem.
They will again give their allegiance to the Lord to their lord, Rehoboam king of Judah, they will kill me and return to King Robo. After seeking advice, the king made two golden calves. He said to the people, it is too much for you to go to Jerusalem.
Here are your gods, Israel, who brought you out of Egypt. Just think about this. All that took place the history of how they got out of Egypt. Now these men built two golden, golden calves.
And he tells the people, that's your gods worship him and they did. These people should know better. They did, God was not happy. 1 Kings 15, 15 and in the 20th century of Jeroboam, king of Israel, Asa became king of Judah.
And he reigned in Jerusalem for 41 years. His grandmother's name was Makah, daughter of Absalom. Asa did what was right in the eyes of the Lord as his father David had done. He expelled the male shrine prostitutes from the land and got rid of all the idols his ancestors had made.
He even deposed his grandmother Makah from her position as Queen Mother because she had made repulsive image for the worship of Asherah. Asa cut it down and burned it in Kidron Valley, although he did not remove the high places.
He does everything right. but he leaves the high places, the place of worship, although he did not remove. Now, this is a whole different king altogether. So these altars and these high places are being passed on from the first generation to the next.
To the next generation, and kings comes, do right, make sure everybody is in place, he's doing everything he's supposed to do, but, except I'm not removing the high places.
1 Kings 22. Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, son of Asa became king of Judah in the fourth year of Ahab, king of Israel. Jehoshaphat was 35 years old when he became king and reigned in Jerusalem in 25 years. His mother's name was Azubah, daughter of Shilhi.
In everything, he followed the ways of his father, Asa, and did not stray from them. He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord. The high places, however, were not removed and the people continued.
There is a temple over there. But people continued to offer sacrifice and burn incense there on the high places. 2 Kings, now we're in 2 Kings 12. In the seventh year of Jeru, Jehoash became king. He reigned in Jerusalem for 40 years.
It's a whole different generation now. His mother's name was Zibiah. She was from Beersheba. Joash did what was right in the eyes of the Lord. All the heads of Jehoida, the priest instructed him.
So now we have a priest. And the priest is instructing this king. The high places, however, were not removed. And the people continued to offer sacrifice and burn incense there.
2 Kings 14, this is Joash, king of Israel. Amaziah, the son of Josh, king of Judah, began to reign. He was 25 years old when he became king and he ran in Jerusalem what? 29 years. His mother was Johaddam. She was from Jerusalem.
He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, but not as his father David had done, in everything he followed the example of his father Josh the high places however were not removed and the people continued to offer sacrifices and burnt incense there.
2 Kings 15 Jeroboam king of Israel Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah began to reign he was 16 years old when he became king and he reigned in Jerusalem 52 years, his mother's name was Jephthah.
She was from Jerusalem, and he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father Amaziah had done. The high places, however, were not removed. The whole generation, again.
We’re in 1532, in the second king in the second year of Pekah, son of Remaliah, king of Israel, Jotham son of Uzziah, king of Judah, began to reign. He was 25 years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem 16 years.
And his mother was Jerusha, daughter of Sadok. He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father Uzziah had done. And the high places, however, were not removed. Now, this guy, he is reigning.
And you know who is his prophet? Who is his prophet? Isaiah. However, they were not removed. People continue to offer sacrifice with burned incense there. Then Jotham rebuilt the upper gate of the temple of the Lord.
2 Kings 16, we're in 16 now. In the seventh year of Pekah, son of Remaliah, Ahaz, son of Jotham, king of Judah, began to reign. Ahaz was 20 years old when he became king. And he reigned in Jerusalem 16 years.
Unlike David, his father, he did not do what was right in the eyes of the Lord, his God. He followed the ways of the king of Israel and even sacrificed his son in the fire, engaging in detestable practices of the nations the Lord had driven out before the Israel.
He offered sacrifice and burnt incense in the high places on the hilltops under every under every spreading tree. High place is still there. 2 Kings 18, in the third year of Hoshea, son of Elah, king of Israel, Hezekiah, son of Ahaz, king of Judah, began to reign.
He was 25 years old. When he became king, he reigned in Jerusalem for 29 years. His mother's name was Abijah, daughter of Zechariah. He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father David had done.
Finally, he removed the high place, he smashed the sacred stones and cut down Asherah pole. He broke into pieces the bronze snake Moses had made. Now think about it. This is a bronze snake that was made during Moses' time.
Finally! 350 years! Hezekiah trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him. He held fast to the LORD and did not stop following him.
He kept the commands the LORD had given Moses, and the Lord was with him. He was successful in whatever he undertook. He rebelled against king of Assyria and did not serve him.
From watchtower to fortified city, he defeated the Philistines as far as Gaza and its territory. In King Hezekiah's fourth year, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Eliah, king of Israel.
Shalmaneser, king of Assyria, marched against Samaria and laid siege to it. At the end of three years, Asaria took it, so Samaria was captured. Hezekiah's sixth year, which was the ninth year of Hoshea, King of Israel.
The king of Assyria deported Israel to Assyria and settled them in Halah in Gozan on the Habor River in towns of Medes. This happened because they had not obeyed the Lord their God, but had violated his covenants.
All that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded. Finally somebody after 350 years put their foot down say we're gonna we're gonna have to deal something with these high places, here's why I'm teaching on this.
Everybody here, we are aware of some things in our families that we have either tolerated we are doing everything that is right in the eyes of the Lord we love the Lord we do Bible study we search the scriptures all the things.
But somewhere in all this, there are high places that we see them, but don't address them. And that is spiritually, I'm not talking about physical fights here. I'm talking about an understanding that, man, that is an issue.
You have to deal with this high place. I can't ignore it unless I pass it to the next generation. And it's going to take 350 years for somebody to say, you know what, I'm tired of this. We're going to have to destroy all these high places.
Now, think about the strife, the challenges, the issues they went through for 350 years and all it needed was a person who would say, hey, I'm king now. Do as I say, I'll fight somebody, go, get rid of that.
Now, I know God has given us an anointing because of what Christ did, because of his command that says, greater works will you do than I did. We can't leave high places milling around and say, oh, we're doing right. We're doing all that we can do.
But there are things that we have to address. And if you know some, you better walk in the spirit. Again, Judges 3, these are the five nations the Lord left in Israel to teach this generation of people how to war in spirit.
Because they were never tested they never went through anything they never went through civil rights they don't understand the bus boycott they have no clue what it means to only move it a radius of five miles, you can't go outside of it just in case you disappear.
Their freedoms are phenomenal. Their concepts of what warfare is, they have no idea. See them boys sitting back here, they're clueless. But we have to address these things spiritually.
You gotta address them. We can't let them just fly by and accommodate demonic spirits. Remember the boy who they couldn't cast out the devil when Jesus came out of Mount Transfiguration and the disciples were so frustrated and he's like, man, why wouldn't we do this?
It's like this kind comes out by what? Prayer and fasting. Now, I want you to think about this. When Jesus asks us, how long has he been like this? It's like, oh, since he was a young man, since he was a baby.
From my understanding and my study, this boy was now 12 years old. So which means as a toddler, three, to 12. This family had made incredible adjustments to accommodate this spirit. What are the symptoms?
He burns himself with fire. He drowns himself with water. So which means at this home, they could not leave water anyway. Neither could they leave matchstick or anything that can start fire anyway.
Everything was lock and key because they were accommodating this demonic spirit and gave it a place. Say, hey, dwell amongst us. We're just going to give you a nice little place right here.
Sit with us, torment us all you desire and all you want, and we'll make sure you don't have matchstick and water anywhere around. They would not go to the beach. They would not go to the swimming pool.
If they go to the swimming pool, they probably have to tie that boy around the neck. Make sure that he doesn't jump in there. He drowns himself. In fact, you know what? Why go? Let's just stay home.
We're not going to have fun. We're not going to go over there. Because you know what? This boy, just in case he drowns himself. And there are things we have done that to ourselves. Where we have accommodated some things.
It's okay and unbeknownst to us, we are sacrificing because that's a sacrifice when you I want you because there to sacrifice using matchstick and water.
So which means at this altar of this demonic spirit, they are making sacrifices to accommodate this. It's very easy to build altars. Very, very easy, I don't want us to go 350.
Yes, Mother Jones, I don't want you to for your kids to go 350 because we ignored what we can see over there. And we can address spiritually and say, Lord, in the name of Jesus, we tell you devil, move, get off the way.
This is not your place. You don't belong in this place. You don't belong in this house. They had a temple built and still they could not go to church but offered sacrifices on altars. I mean, it's happening right now.
You know what Trump is? Trump is an idea of disobedience that people are worshiping. He's just being used by a spirit. And people are bowing down. Watch all these people, very smart, intelligent people.
They go and kneel before this man. Because he's not a man, it's a spirit. It's an altar that the nation has erected for years and nobody has addressed and nobody is addressing and is growing by the day.
Look at the church. If you want to see what I'm talking, look at the evangelical. The church is going and they're leaving the house of God to go and offer in a high place. Pastors doing everything right by their congregation.
But you know what? We have to go pay homage and build on that altar and sacrifice. cause in order to go over there, you're gonna have to go through security clearance. You're going to have to change all this stuff and make sure everything is in order.
Make adjustment to your schedule. Make sure that even if they tell you, hey, you need to come here on Sunday, you're going to have to find somebody to come and preach at your church just so you can sacrifice at the altar, high places.
And they are everywhere in this country. You don't win an Oscar until you sacrifice at a high at an altar. You don't win a Grammy until you go and sacrifice at the altar.
You don't win a Dove award until. This is why I was telling my brother, he's like, man, all these years I've produced music. Nobody's ever I was like, hey, hey, hey, hey. The Lord is protecting you.
You're like going to go over there and kneel before this altar and burn some incense and sacrifice. God ain’t happy with that. That's why nobody gets healed out of this nonsense. Nobody gets saved.
It's just all pleasure because it's an altar. This is one of the reasons guys I'm telling you this here we got to open our this is one of the reason where a pastor could do something stupid tomorrow.
The church will be still full excuses after excuses because that's an order ah where would I go you are sitting on a shrine you're sitting on a shrine. And every day is going to go and sacrifice.
I'm going to give my tithe and offering. It's an altar. We have to address this in our lives. We have to address altars. They are the, if you think they are not, I just told you the disadvantages we have that the devil knows.
Calvin the devil knows what great, great, great, great grandfather back over there and the scripture says the iniquities will visit high and you're like man why do I why do I feel this way. Demonic spirits altars trying to do one thing right over here.
Just hell breaks up altar, got to deal with this stuff and if you know something and the worst part is if you don't that's like Lord help me give me insight of what happened back there. Quick story my line of great grandfathers.
Yeah, my father's, my father's, yeah, my father's fathers. There's seven of them, seven. The oldest was the first African to drive an ambulance in the whole entire continent because it was black people were not allowed to drive ambulance.
He was the first. Big story and I think they even wrote about it in the BBC. And he had an affinity that he developed over the British. Everything to him was, the British were gods to him.
Tea and queen cakes, cheese and crackers, newspaper, reading a cup of tea with a saucers. You know those little saucers, the British way? That's him to the core, breakfast at eight. When the clock goes, he starts eating. Newspaper on his hand.
Through and through, he built himself an altar. The British worshipped them. They could not do any wrong. Despite of all the torture and stuff they were doing in all across Africa, they were the best thing ever happened, ever happened.
And he made sure that he will try to teach everybody one of all of his brothers and say make sure everybody got everybody got to go to Oxford University. Everybody got to go to England and study there.
The British brainwashed everybody and show you what altars do. So at one point, he visited England and he bought the, what do you call it, the sculpture of Queen Victoria. And he used to polish this thing just over there, built himself an altar.
And if anything happens, anybody touches the queen, I used to hear the stories. Then he had those little, you know, those glasses like professors, the round ones. Yeah, he looked like a professor.
Just tie, suit and tie every day. Whether he is off on Saturday, on Sunday, suit and tie. Now, he is at this point in time, I think he was about to be 80, retired, but every day, same routine, woke up, shower, suit and tie, cheese and crackers, 8:00 a.m. clocks door, pew, starts drinking tea, and that's his routine.
One day, now wife had died, so he's living with older son and his daughter-in-law. So everybody knows the routine. And you can see everybody when morning comes.
Make sure eight everything has to be said about eight, oh by the way here's a funny little thing you had to had gloves, put it on this little tray over here. So she got tired of it so one day she says you know what I'm not getting out today.
It was one of the coldest day in Zimbabwe. She's like, I'm not gonna go buy a newspaper over there. This is daughter-in-law. So I can come and cook breakfast, this old man. He's like, you know, today, today, no, I'm not doing it.
Today I'm fed up. He woke up, he's all dressed, sits on the table, and he can see today is kind of different, stuff is not. So, of course, he starts complaining about the British does it this way, blah, blah, blah.
She gets mad. She was like, no, not today. I'm sick and tired of this all day. Son has gone to work. This is daughter-in-law and father-in-law. So they start having this intense fellowship over this altar. He gets frustrated.
He's like, you know what? I can go get my old newspaper. He gets up on the house, grabs his, takes a walk and never came back. Nobody knows what happened to him, nobody. It was written about in the papers in Zimbabwe.
Because remember, he's a renowned ambulance driver, well known, retired. Nobody knows up to this day, nobody knows what happened to him. Over the crackers and altar that he had built for himself as a place of worship.
Build an altar that he worshiped for over 50 years. And the day he could not have his newspaper and tea because of an order he built for himself for 50 years.
He walked off, never to be found because he was so mad and angry over crackers because he had built himself an altar. Guess what? Everybody of the Muchwara people grew up back then, everybody, hey, as soon as you finish school.
You're supposed to go study in England because that was the altar. That was the altar, at grade seven when I was in grade seven before high school as soon as you're done, England, the Lord was like uh, uh again is there something wrong.
Is there anything wrong going to study in England but that altar. So I have aunts and nieces, everybody lives in England over there because of this dude.
It's very easy to build altars, that we start worshiping them instead of the God that sits on the throne High above it all.
I mean, after what they went through in Egypt and the whole journey out and watching the rain, I want you to imagine guys, I want you to go stand on the beach one day and watch the water go like that.
And then you walk on dry ground. Then let somebody convince you later on that, you know what, build yourself a golden calf and that's your golden worship to him and agree to that. Unless there's strong, powerful, demonic altar.
So I'm saying all this to say that it's 7:06, that let's not leave stuff just because yeah it is nothing better, it's not about me, it doesn't have anything to do with me, it's over there.
And hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey we cannot accommodate demonic spirits and live with them and give them room because eventually they will grow and that fight you don't want it, Amen. Alright, let's end here.
Heavenly Father, we come before you because we have a clear understanding that you desire holiness, purity, and us upholding your statutes, your values for this kingdom.
If there are any things back there that might visit us here and there because of what transpired generations ago, give us courage, boldness, determination to eradicate any altars so that we don't make the same mistakes of sacrificing ourselves on these altars.
Open our eyes and our hearts to have a clear understanding of who you are, what you are doing, and how you are cleansing the temple. I thank you for these your people.
Continue to lead us into triumphant procession. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever, Amen.
