Our Spiritual Weapons and How to Use Them

Jesus overcomes every stronghold. There is victory over every stronghold through Jesus Christ. The problem is we don’t believe it. In spiritual war, we have guaranteed victory through Christ. Our job is to believe that victory has been guaranteed and to stand and enforce it (Ephesians 6:13). Keep standing your ground and look to the cross where victory is enforced. Christianity is failing because we don’t know how to enforce the victory already won by Christ and because we don’t know how to use our weapons.

One of the things that is always kind of robbing your mind, right, it's almost nowadays now that you live life and teach with one eye in the scripture then one eye with what's going on around us.

And you know if you love God, if you love His Kingdom you cannot be oblivious to the things that are happening around us.

That's why point. Yeah, most of the time saying don't be ignorant. Says don't be ignorant concerning the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. That word ignorant means you can literally ignore it or just not pay attention to it or think nothing of it.

But the reality is that man, the stuff that's happening around us and the stuff that's being planned. You can't help but really sense that we're going to from here onwards there's going to be a lot of pulling. You know, to see how the devil can just pull you off your rod.

Because when the scripture says, Those who would hold on, right, it talks about in Hebrews. It talks about, it says now hold on to the confessions of your faith. You don't hold on unless something's pulling you. And you can see it, people are not leaving the church because of the message.

People are leaving the church because there is a pull. And then with that pull, Pastors are having to formulate some clever ways to try to keep people in church.

Then by so doing end up coming up with messages that don't really fit the description because you're caught between this place where you're trying to figure out.

But really, there is really nothing to figure out. Truth is truth, truth is truth. They always keep reminding people and say the word remnant does not mean chosen.

The word remnant means what's left of. So when the scripture keeps talking about the remnant of God, it says there is a very few who are going to be left of.

I can't remember what passage of scripture is this but there's a passage of scripture where it talks about somebody who was witnessing the events of the heavens, it says while I was witnessing the events of the heaven.

Says I watched people come into hell and they had to expand it in order to accommodate people.

But then there's also a scripture that gives you the, the dimensions of how big heaven is, and when you start considering the dimensions of that and looking at humanity as a whole. You realize the number is small.

We've been on a journey, we talked about God's Kingdom, we talked about who is God, we talked about salvation, we talked about who he, we talked about the Kingdom of God, God's will.

Then we talked about how you can be part of and find yourself in this Kingdom, now that we are in this Kingdom, whether be it yesterday, whether be it from years ago, the reality is that there are things that are designed to pull you out of this Kingdom.

Just like a wall, when you are fighting against the United States is in a war against another nation.

The war is designed number one to kill and to main, which is what Satan came to do, kill, steal and destroy or you can get captured. And when you're captured, you are then put under duress to either give up your country and this is how you see prisoners of wars.

The end up leaving one country for years and years because they're trying to break you so that you can go over. And once you go over, you know you can't go back to that Kingdom because once you go back or they're putting you in prison for a whole incredible different crime altogether.

So, this Kingdom that we are part of, the reality is that Satan is constantly designing things to pull you out of it. Whether you identify it, whether you like it, whether you don't think about it. The reality is that he is always trying to set traps. That's why Paul keeps talking about don't be ignorant.

Because sometimes we get to that place where we are ignorant. Well, yeah, you know, I mean, I've heard people, you know, once you're saved, you're saved, you know. The reality is that you can be put out of this Kingdom. There's so many people who no longer go to church.

In fact the proof is in this country in 1990, in 1970, this country had 85% of these citizens go to church. Now that number is between 25% and 35%. What happened, somebody got pulled out of that Kingdom and the journey of getting pulled out, it doesn't just end once you are out, it ends to where we're trying to convert you to give up your citizenship and get this citizenship.

This is why you see, you hear a pastor says, no, I'm now an atheist, then you wonder what happened. I told you one of my favorite hobbies is going to thrift store and get those free Bibles. And every time you pick one you always see a name in the written given to this date in 1974.

What happened that you give up life, which is the word of God because somebody got pulled out of this Kingdom. So, whether we want to admit it or not, the reality is that we are in a spiritual war.

Whether you acknowledge it, whether you choose not to, the reality is once you surrender your life to our Lord Savior Jesus Christ, and you are part of this Kingdom automatically you are enlisted in your spiritual war.

If you are over there, if you are not saved whether you like it or not, the script just says you deserving of God's rest.

So there's no in between, if you cross over which is salvation, the side that you're coming from automatically try to find way spiritually to get you to violate the principles of the Kingdom that you're part of.

Because if you violate them, then you will never get the benefits of that Kingdom. So we cannot be making this up where I want us to really understand by the end of this year, your citizenship as a believer.

And do you understand what this Kingdom, how it's set up, how it functions, how do you keep your Christianity, how do you grow your Christianity, how do you, what are we being transformed towards because that's what the Scripture talks as we are constantly being transferred towards something, and that something is that ultimately when we are, we are done here.

When we are down on Earth the scripture says we will be transformed and we want to look like him, who Jesus Christ. Not the physical man, but the spiritual being.

So now what I want to do today is we might have done this before, but I think for the benefit of the structure we're trying to really kind of build.

I want us to understand this to give you some things that you know, this is my weapons to deal with spiritual war when it comes my way and then also knowing how do I use, what do I use when something like this comes up or when this situation pops up, how do I pray?

How do I, what do I need to do to deal with these circumstances? A lot of believers. Don't know this. A lot of believers is 1 weapon, the easiest one just like the United States of Government, the United States Army, right, there's different types of weapons for different strategies and different ways to conquer the enemy.

And we need to know that when they went to capture Osama bin Laden, they sent 12 men, right, 12. And that whole unit is called with special forces. And even in that, right you can see how all our ideas come from God, right. Whether they know what they were doing, but they were 12.

Because all our ideas come from God, whether we like it or not, that's where they that's the origin, that's the originator, right.

So let's go to 2 Corinthians 10:4, we know this scripture it says weapons we fight with are not the weapons of this world, right. So first and foremost, right there, there's two things that we have to identify.

That there's a war, there’s weapons and it's not physical, right. Let me look at, let me find this scripture, hold on. Verse 4, The weapons of our warfare are not carnal. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal. Now, before we even go further, this is 2 Corinthians 10.

So this is the second letter that Paul is writing to this church. He wrote the first one apparently they didn't hear it. He didn't write this letter because he lked this group. He wrote it because they didn't listen, the first time, so the second time was like you know what, let me write another letter.

So now, as he's writing the 2nd letter, the language really changes now to mirror to show them what's really happening and God in His infinite wisdom, He says you know what this letter is so important that we need to make sure that it's part of the Holy Scriptures.

Why does it have to be part of the Holy Scriptures because all of humanity is going to face this same issue. From here onwards, until I come, this is gonna be an issue. But you know what, it's so important so let's canonize this let's make sure it's part of the Holy Scriptures.

Why, because the first time we don't hear it the second time Paul was like, yeah, we're gonna have to write a second letter. So that these people get a really good understanding.

So, verse 3 says, For though we walk, right in the flesh we do not war after the flesh for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal.

There's a war, there's weapons and is not in the flesh. But they are mighty through who, God, not people, not churches not friends but God. To be pulling down of what, strongholds, casting down imagination and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of who, God.

And bringing into captivity every thought, every not some, not a little bit not maybe every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing it into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ, not to the your obedience to the obedience of Christ.

So in other words, you're going to take your thoughts that exalt themselves above the knowledge of who God is and then you're going to bring them to Christ, now this is so important because strongholds are not physical things.

This is mental battles that exist in our heads, those things have exalted themselves far above what God's capacity and capabilities is.

In other words, let's say there's an addiction and you've been fighting this addiction for a little bit. You are in the Kingdom now, and this addiction is pulling you.

And it's a stronghold because it's in your head. The reason you can't deal with it is because it is exhorted itself far above what you think God is able to do for you.

So now here's the fight, you know, God exists you know, He is powerful, but somehow I have faith, for I can have faith for a car.

I can have faith for a home but you know what, I don't have faith for this addiction. That's a stronghold because that thing has exhorted itself from above the knowledge of who God is. Ask brother Sargeant, he used to have a drug addiction for years I'm talking decades. It's not that he didn't want to get well, he wanted to get well.

It's not that he never went to rehab, he went to rehab, I don't know how many times and possibly a ton of times. But this thing here was a strong one and he couldn't do anything about it until that stronghold was submitted to Christ so that it takes its rightful place.

Now I'm sure even while he was dealing with all that, he believed in God, probably he was saved, so which means that your salvation does not exonerate you from the possibility of the enemy coming to set up a stronghold in your head.

So now we find ourselves in this place now where thoughts, ideas, things that we do, things that we have been through have now set up nests in our head and they're all there for one particular reason. How can I pull you out of this war, how can I pull you, how can I get you out of this war?

A stronghold is a fortified and occupied domain, with the ruling authority so in other words that area you can seem to get over is actually fortified and there's a ruling spirit over it that has set up a whole entire entourage of army to make sure that nothing gets done when it comes to this particular thing, that's what a stronghold.

So, strongholds they waged in a conflict with the spirit. You have heard me say that the opposite of peace is not war, the opposite of peace is conflict. But when conflict is unresolved, it leads to war. So these forces, so now you are saved once you get saved, the scripture says you're now a new creation.

The old has to pass away, but the old is like no, I'm no, I'm not dying yet, it's holding on, it's holding on, it's holding it on, it's holding on, right.

And you're trying to be a new creation and the world is just pulling and pulling and pulling and pulling, pulling, pulling and this fight keeps growing, this conflict keeps growing.

At some point, right, something is going to overcome with the other. So, through Jesus death here comes, this is why Jesus is so incredible, because He overcome every single one of those strongholds. Whatever it is, no matter what they are, He came and demolished every single one of them.

So now Paul is saying now, on the contrary our weapons, our weapons, our spiritual weapons, have divine power to demolish every stronghold. Now before we go any further, every single one of us, we know what our strongholds are so I want you to do this if you have a little piece of paper in your house.

You know, taking notes I want you to list the challenges or the strong the things that you know that this is a stronghold. Identify it, list it, now in that list things that are generational that, you know my ancestors I don't know where this started from, but they never dealt with it.

And this thing has been in the family, now is just a huge thing and it's sitting right in the middle of the sitting room, identify it.

Pastor Zee can I ask your question, just to clarify where we're going with this, are we taking this back to just maybe our mother, our grandmother possessing back as far as I can go or do we take it from say a spouse and down how far back do we go?

Just think about, don't, we don't want to go to where we think about other people. I want you to think about you.

So, if there's a thing in the family that you know, yeah, this is in the family, but it really doesn't affect me. Don't write about it, but if you know that this year I've heard it, that so and so dealt with it, and now I'm dealing with it right now, yeah.

Oh ok, I got you, I got you ok, I was just trying to figure it out. Ok, I got you.

No to other people, you, right now that we have this list, this list here. Whether it be it's an idea that propped up in your head years ago and somehow it just continued growing and growing and growing or tormenting spirits. Those are the biggest ones.

Now, now that we've done that, here's a reality every single one of those things, there is victory for it through Jesus Christ.

So the problem is not that there's no victory, the problem is that we just, we're not strong enough to believe that there is victory. So in other words, that mindset has exalted itself or above the knowledge of who God is.

Which, by the way, is the first original sin Satan exhorted himself, or above the knowledge of who God is. So, this country has so many different islands here, the US Virgin Islands, right.

What happened? the United States weren't fought over there, killed some people and says this is ours now let's put a flag, this is our countries, this is our domain, right.

So that becomes the stronghold of the United States. So it's the same principle, the enemy comes and says, you know what I  can’t take the whole of you. But you know what I can take this side here. And this little island over here, and I'm going to put a flag here. This belongs to me.

Here comes the wrestling match now. Now, the difference now between that physical war where United States arms itself and goes to another country fight, is that you don't know whether you're going to win or not. But this war, this spiritual war, it's a guaranteed victory.

Because the one who came to do away with this already came, did his job. They said yeah. this is the plan now victory is guaranteed. Our job now is to believe that victory has been guaranteed and to enforce it. This is why the book of Ephesians is that it says when you have done all to stand, stand.

In other words, you're going to stand. Then when you feel like man, I'm not really stand again. Why do you have to keep standing your ground, you keep standing your ground because you're enforcing the measure of rule that Jesus already said up to make sure that victory is eminent.

So Jesus won this already, so what Satan does, he continuously refuse the defeat. I'm smiling because I'm about to say something here, but I'm going to say it. Trump, I lost but I won, I won, I won, I won, I won. Just look, just think about that. Let's use that as a good scenario I won, I won, I won.

So the people that even won, right, the people that have the victory can't even celebrate because they're dealing with his voice. They keep saying I won. I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won. There in the office, oh man, you hear what you said, he just say that again. Oh, my God, he didn't want to come to hand over power.

Well, he is not in power. So I want that's what the enemy does now. You're not gonna get over this, you're not gonna get over this, you're not gonna get over this, you're gonna get over this, you're gonna get over this, you're gonna get over this and you just know like, huh, right and you forget to look to the cross where victory is enforced.

You know those movies where the you know people show the you know, what they call vampire movies where they show the cross, right. So we forget to show the cross isn't it amazing in those movies, you think somebody's like, where’s my cross, where's my cross, where's is my cross, that's us, that's us.

We can't find the cross. We know it's here somewhere, but we can't find it. We can't lift it and say hey so we forget that this victory was won.

It's enforced we now have to just say  you lost, you lost end of story. But what do we do, we pay attention to the stronghold until it's so deafening that we can't even believe that we won.

Here, people voted for us. So that's how you know if you really want to know an analogy, that man is a stronghold in people's lives, they can't shake it off.

Listen to Ephesians 1:18 says this, I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.

And his incomparable great power to us who do what, who believe. So this great power is for people who believe. So the great power for that particular thing that you're dealing with comes if you believe. That, yeah, I'll overcome that too.

That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when He raised Christ from the dead and seated on His right hand in heavenly places, far above the rule and authority, power, dominion far above far above far above, not just above far above.

And every name that is in vogue, notably not to just today but also in the future. We know this sentence mission steal to kill, steal and destroy. Provoked or unprovoked. John 10:10 also says the same thing. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. In the same verse, Jesus states his mission.

Its also made known I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly so if you have a stronghold, do you have life abundantly or high afterlife? The keyword in this verse is full, full not a little bit not half full.

Which means you can have life and that life will either be full or lacking. If your life or our lives are lacking is because of three things.

Its either the enemy has stolen, destroyed part of, or killed. So our obligation is to continuously insist that Jesus was victorious and He is still victorious. And then how do we stand the pause, for example so if you are defending your post, how do you stand, with the weapon right?

So when the speaker says the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. He's saying they are spiritual weapons and if you are enlisted in this army you can’t just go to the war without knowing what you're holding in your hands and you don't know how to use it.

This is why Christianity is failing not because Jesus was not on the cross, because we don't know how to enforce the victory.

And if we know how to enforce the victory we are ever using the wrong weapon to deal with the wrong thing.

So at the beginning of this recess for though we live in the world. We do not wage war as the world does. Our weapons are not what the world uses which means that we have to know what our weapons are.

So which means that every spiritual negative thought that you deal with has a spiritual weapon for it. Now to deal with that battle, you have to know what weapon to bring. Let's Ephesians 10:18, Finally being strong in the Lord. Sometimes we read these scriptures so fast and just like breeze by.

Finally, be strong where so you can't be strong outside of the Lord, right, which means that and we keep, I keep talking about this if you ever hear anybody say that they have power they are lying. Because our power, our power, does not exist outside of His otherwise, if we had power, then we'll be able to deal with all our issues anyway, right.

But the reason why we can't deal with our issues is because our power comes to the one who entrusts us with His power not your power, His power.

So when the scripture says put on the full armor of God not a little bit, not half of it since put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand.

So right there it shows you why we are not victorious sometimes because we are putting half of an Armour, we’re not putting full Armour. You say so you can stand against what the devil's schemes that means the devil has planned schemes, trickery, tricks.

I've always said the devil sometimes you think you've dealt with him. And he goes and wait for you, 10 years from now. Over there and you think, man, I don't think I dealt with it. You know, I always laugh, you know, I always laugh at Veronica, sorry, Veronica I'm going to use you on this one.

Is that she'll call and say, you know, I just experienced something today. I'm like, what happened she says well I thought I'd dealt with this thing ten years ago and the Lord just reminded me today. Because that's what the enemy does. it's like, are you good now 10 years from now, it just shows up.

In your weakest moments and you thought you dealt with that and realized nah, I never did. And sometimes he just wait for you until he can take hundreds, thousands with you ask Jimmy Swaggart.

So, listen to this year for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against authorities, against powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly place.

I mean, you hear, so right here, guys, let me tell you something God is not in the habit of testing people. We say this stuff, why would He test you when he knows you are a failure anyway.

Doesn't make any sense, like oh the devil, God is just testing me. No, he's not, God is just looking for you to believe Him or not, that's it.

So when you say, oh, I'm just being tested. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, the scripture is telling us, it says our struggle is not against flesh and blood and it lists for us where our struggles come from. Rulers, against authorities, against powers in the dark world against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

So that's why it is therefore put on the full armor of God because this is not joke. It said, so you may be able to stand your ground and after you have done everything to stand, stand firm then with the belt and now you start listing what we need as an Armory.

The belt of truth backward around your waist with the breastplate of righteousness in place and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the Gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all flaming arrows of the evil one.

So, what do we need to extinguish anything that comes from the devil, first thing faith. The shield of faith we can extinguish anything that the drop devil throws. And what is faith, faith is the substance of things over and evidence of things not yet seen. Without faith, it's impossible to do what to please God.

So, in other words, right, your faith in God literally blocks everything. So, when you are actually saying, maybe God is testing me, you are literally in a way saying in a what, I don't really necessarily believe God in this situation. I think He, I'm just being tested, those are schemes of the enemy.

Then He says, take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. This is why we say, hey, man, we've got to have this word. What does helmet do, protect your head. Why is it our head needs protection because it is the epicenter of all thoughts and strongholds.

So, if you want to deal with any strongholds to make sure you don't have any strongholds, what do you do, you put on the helmet of salvation. This is why it's so hard to pray for people who are demonic possessed, and we always ask the first thing are you saved because if you are not saved, that means you don't have protection in your head.

And if you don't have protection in your head there's nothing I can do. So, we ask people, let's save you first because once you get saved, you then put on the helmet of salvation to deal with what strongholds.

Now here we go and pray in the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayer, which means you have to know all the different kinds of prayer.

And you have to know how to speak in tongues. Why, so you can make your requests. Oh, I love this one here. Be alerts and always keep on praying for all Lord's people.

So what's our plan to stand our ground and not give up the inheritance that Jesus gave to us. Let's look at our weapons.

So, the first thing right from Ephesians 6 we understand is we are given what the armor is, how we protect ourselves. So one of the most important things that you need in this armor is what faith, because faith defeats all kinds of schemes the devil throws, right.

So let's look at these weapon, now the scripture says. We wrestle not right against flesh and blood, but against rule and principalities in the same in the place. Now, when you are wrestling that means you have to be what, touching, right proximity. You don't wrestle if you're home.

This is why, when we say, oh, there's a prayer meeting and you're home, you're not wrestling, you are not present. You're not in the ring, you're not available. Oh, you know, I'm just going to do church in the bed, no, you're not here, you not available. You can't fight with us, right.

So, in other words, the very first weapon is your availability. Are you available because you don't stand your post, you don't guard anything if you're not present, availability. The second weapon is the word of God, which has heard that is take the helmet of salvation and the sword of Spirit, which is the word of God.

This is why I keep encouraging all of us stay in the word, stay in the word, stay in the word, stay in the word, stay in the word. The word of God is, so the number the word of God is the most powerful weapon that we have Jesus shows us over and over again when he encounters the devil.

It doesn't say get thee behind me, Satan, He doesn't say, oh, I need a Nigerian for a prayer, no because the word of God.  Why do we have to call the word of God because it will stand forever, forever. That's the primary weapon number one, the word of God.

Weapon number two, so, let's before we go to number two. So, when do we use the word of God when voices come to contradict, remember what I said guys about if you really want to know whether this is God or Satan, that the first word you or the first voice you always hear the voice of who, God, why because God speaks first.

The second voice is always Satan. The third voice is always your voice to try to decipher between the two.

So what you hear the Lord speak first. Now, knowing His word allows you now to just use it when you hear something that you know, this is not when you hear a second thought that you know this is not from God. Don't let those thoughts slide. Immediately find a scripture, find a word for it.

Immediately, no you know what I'm going to go tomorrow, right nowadays we have access on these phones of everything, you can find a word immediately. Praise and worship. Number one availability, you have to be present, number two the word of God, three praise and worship.

Now these two you cannot separate them. They work together, one is a gun, one is a bullet. You can't have one without the other, it says whatever God has joined together, let not man put asunder. It wasn't just talking about marriage so there are things God has joined together.

This is one of those praise and worship joined together. You can't separate the two, this is why you see guys, if you ever watch people who have Christian concerts. If the conflict does not end in a worship set, you missed the mark. You just went there and have a good old time, fun but you also have to have a portion of worship.

And I'll show you what worship does. The Scripture says draw near to me and I'll draw near to you, right. So the greater level of worship, the greater the presence of God and wherever God is, Satan cannot be in the same room. That's why you need that weapon, so now when do we use this?

Let's say you find yourself in a place where you're like, man, I can't find a believer. I can't find somebody I can talk to. You know, all these people around here are kinda crazy.

You better praise and worship God because he draws near so that you are not isolated. So, in other words, anytime you feel isolated, feel lonely, praise and worship.

And we see it in 2 Chronicles, King Jehoshaphat felt after praise and worship, God shows up. They didn't even have to pick up a weapon God just did what that needed to be done praise and worship.

Weapon number four, Prayer. Scripture says what pray what in all kinds, all kinds of prayer.

What is prayer? The basics of prayers we're just talking to God. Just having a conversation with God. Study the Lord's Prayer, study the Lord's Prayer.

In fact, if you don't know what to pray pray that. And one of the things I want to encourage you guys, right. Please, please memorize the Lord's Prayer we all should know that.

Psalms 91 prayer, all the prayers in the book of acts. Every single chapter of acts has a prayer. Foundation of the church, in fact, I can send those scriptures to you. Memorize some prayers in the scriptures. You should note 234 that you can just go to.

And now I think we did a series on this two years ago or a year ago on the more than thirty types of prayer mission in the Bible. We need to use those, they're not just there for us to feel good. We need to use those prayers and when you study all those prayers, by the way, right.

They will show you when and how to use and what kind of prayer needs what kind of situation, right. Remember the king that had to dress himself in ashes and sackcloth to pray because something grievous had happened to the nation. So, if you're praying for your nation and you feel like man God is after us.

It's not our father who art in heaven that's not going to carry it. You're going to need ashes and sackcloth and going somewhere where you can close the rooms, you and the Lord and God says, man, I see you. So, we got to know these types of prayers. Five, the blood of Jesus.

It says we they triumph over him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony they did not love their life so much as to shrink from death. The blood of Jesus is a weapon that does so many things.

It heals, so when you're praying for somebody who is sick. Healing blood of Jesus, we apply the blood of Jesus.

When you're praying for somebody who he who needs to be clean. Spiritual warfare, blood of Jesus. People who need protection remember says go put the blood of Jesus on the doorpost, right, so that when the Angel of death comes this way I will pass over you the blood of Jesus.

So when death is on the on the horizon, the blood of Jesus. Reconciliation, you have an issue with somebody. When you are praying  before you have the conversation, the blood of Jesus caused in order for us to reconcile with God, He had to die and shed His blood.

So, we got to use that, Then when we want to enter into holiness, what does the blood of Jesus do?

It cleans us right of all our sins, so we can enter into holy places. It purifies when you feel like man, I've done some stuff and I need purify purification apply the blood of Jesus. Somebody is sick, on the verge of death life, the blood gives life. We apply the blood of Jesus in this situation.

Then in Ephesians 2:13, says, but now in Christ Jesus, you were once far off. Now you've been brought what, close near by the blood of Jesus. So, when you feel somebody is far away from God and you're praying for them to come back. Lord, we apply blood of Jesus, right.

Weapon number six. So, when you look at five, which is the blood of Jesus. This is one of those weapons that have different type of bullets that you can use. So let's know these things so that when situations arises, we know what to apply, what to use, right.

Number six, the name of Jesus for the name of Jesus, every knee should bow right. For those in heaven and those in earth.

So you find yourself dealing with somebody who's belligerent and you feel like man I don't know how to deal with this person's, call on the name of Jesus because every knee has to bow.

I've heard situations where people are being kidnapped or about to be, you know, violated of something, and they call on the name of Jesus and every knee has to bow. Weapon number seven, angels. Hebrews 1:14, are they not all ministers sent forth to Minister for them, who shall be heirs of salvation, right.

So, when you feel somebody needs ministry pray for angels. Listen, Psalms 34:7, It says the Angel of the Lord in camps around those who do what, who fear him and delivers them.

Weapon number eight, brothers and sisters in Christ so us here as a group. All these people over here we are all weapons for each other.

This is why, when you're going through something and you can call another person right and you feel like oh that's a weapon.

Number nine, knowledge. Josiah, 4:6, the word of the word knowledge means facts, information, skills acquired by a person through experience or education.

So, if you have seen God move somewhere, you have knowledge of what He is capable of doing use that as a weapon. First thing, that's a weapon. Psalm 69:10 says when I whip and fast, I must do what endures scone.

So, when you feel stuff is not right some way fast. Fasting moves you from physical to spiritual very fast.

Weapon number eleven truth. Stand firm then with the belt of Truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place.

Truth shall say to you free. So, when you feel like I'm in jail in prison, truth shall set you free. That's a weapon number twelve righteousness, same scripture Ephesian 6:14.

Number thirteen the gospel. When do we preach, when do we use gospel as a weapon, when somebody needs peace. You know, I feel tormented, I need peace.

Go read the gospels for them then pray for peace. Weapon number fourteen faith. Faith is what's the popular weapon in America? The AR 14, 15 whatever, right.

That's what everybody can access and whatever, right. So when you think about it, faith is one of those readily available weapon. You can just go get it, Walmart for anything.

If you want to go shoot a deer, there it is, if you want to do some stuff of it, there it is. You can just easily access it. And look at what we talked about this, right.

It extinguishes all the flaming, not some. All the flaming arrows of the devil. Weapon number fifteen, we talked about this, the helmet of salvation. The sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. You already have that. Now let's go to that list. That list we wrote that original list, right you have.

Now when you looked at that list, right? Now start, you know when you do those if you go to restaurants, they give you those things. They for kids where you have to match, right.

On one side you have, you know, 5, 6, 7things and the other side you have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 it's like match the corresponding answers.

Now if we look on your original list. You can take all these weapons and start saying, oh, this is what I use for that. And this is what I use for that, so, when I'm dealing with this, this is what I'm going to apply.

Now we can systematically start demolishing strongholds because the scripture says we demolish strongholds by our spiritual weapons.

Not by something else, but our spiritual weapons. So, when we start using these weapons against all those things that we have listed over there, you realize these answers or you can actually see now maybe I was using the wrong method to deal with this issue. Now I can use this to deal with that. Issue.

Then we can find victory. And I say, you know, I said this a few weeks ago that if somebody's dealing with tormenting spirit, right. Where do we go in the scriptures, Psalms, why, because David used Psalms for the tormented men?

So there is precedence in all these things we are using. Jesus used the word when the devil came really hard on Him, there’s presidents. King Jehoshaphat, when he was about to go into a war, he used praise and worship.

So, knowing these spiritual weapons really gives us the essentials we need to deal with issues when we see them pop up.

So we start demolishing strong ones. This is for us to demolish the strongholds that we know are right here Amen. All right, so that's your homework for this week, take these weapons, look at what you call strongholds, start matching weapons.

Once you have measured the weapons, let's strategically start doing it until we know that strong word is gone now. That one is gone now, next one, let's attack it, next one let's attack it so that when you see the devil come this way, you know how to stand.

That I'm not just standing here hoping, No, this one in one I can stand with praise and worship. I'm not going to weep and cry to God overnight.

I'm just going to put on some music here let's worship the Lord, and once He draws near, He's going to deal with that spirit of heaviness, Amen. Are we together? All right.

Dorothy, can you please pray for us?

Amen, Lord God we give You all the praise all the glory, and all the honor Lord. We thank You, Lord Father God, for this day that You have brought us together  to learn more about your word, not just to hear it, but also to do it.
