"Sin/Repentance"

I'll start out with a word of prayer. If you can bow your heads. Lord, I thank you. I thank you for this moment. Lord, I thank you for your kindness. I thank you for your you've given us your son Jesus, who died on the cross for our sins.

Lord, I thank you for this day. Lord, are they that we that you made that we never seen before. Lord, we thank you, Lord Jesus, for your son Jesus who died on the cross for our sins, God. Lord, I just thank you, Lord Jesus because for Jesus, because Jesus truly is a gift to all mankind.

Now, Lord, I thank you for your Holy Spirit. Lord, I am thankful and most graceful that you give us the pleasure to be on this call. And to break bread together with other believers not fearing anything. Lord, I am thankful God that we have access to your entire words in the Bible.

I pray that God, you will be with us as we study. I pray that you will open our minds to understand scriptures and see you clearly. I pray that you will reveal the sin that is needed to be repented of.

Oh, heavenly Father gracious God, and that you would encourage us where we need encouragement. Lord, I pray that there be repentance on this call if needed. Lord, I pray that you will be among us and you are and you will be if Christians are here.

Lord, I pray that you will open our understanding and that you will illuminate our hearts, that we will see Jesus. Now gracious God, maker and creator of all things. I pray for everyone in this room, because we as made-up of a room Lord in our meeting.

Who might have a heart that is hard towards you, that you will soften their heart. Lord God, I prayed that you helped them see you are good and that you are true and that you are right. God, I pray that we will have a spirit of humility and meekness to receive the implanted word of God.

And Lord, I pray from this day on that this will not just be a mountain experience, but a life lived in holiness. And Lord, I pray that the women and men's in this room will hear about your word and bear fruit much fruit as we pray this prayer over them.

Now, Lord, I need you, we need you, they need you every day there are so many seductions in this world. There are so many things that entice our minds. Which entice our eyes. Which entice our bodies everything that the devil has to say sounds true.

We need your help to discern what is good Lord, what is right and what is worthy of our attentions. I need I ask for compassion God in this place that you would do the work of turning our hearts and each in in our face towards you.

And that we will believe what you say in your word. God, I pray that you will help us to have the endurance needed to trust you until the end. For your Bible, say never is the way to life and free will find it.

But I pray God by your mercies and grace that we will be the few and that we would not take the broad way. That we will not see the death and light in it, but we will see you God, only you God's in it in all of this.

I pray for the grace that we can live a righteous with true and biblical life. God, I pray for humility. For the humility and understanding that I would know what you are talking about in your word.

That you are right and true in all your ways. Now, O heavenly Father, Abba my father. I pray for integrity that we will not be a people that sing about you, but then hate you. That you would give us a heart of fear and a reverence that would see what John saw in revelations.

Where there are 100 or 1000 angels surrounding the throne Lord. Saying Holy, holy, holy to him be glory to him, be praised to him be worthy. So help us, Lord, to see you in all your glory God.

Now unto him that is able to help us and keep us from stumbling, I thank you God. By all that you have done, keep me from error. Keep me to be wise. Help me to be wise, Lord and Lord I just want to say I thank you God for all that you have done.

Continue to help me to win souls, to continue to win those souls for Christ upon my assignment in the body of Christ and the precious mighty name of Jesus, we declare and we pray, Amen, Amen.

So what my topic is tonight that's been in my spirit. Know how God works with me. Give me something then to change at the last minute. And I'm like, OK God, you got jokes. But I'm used to it now.

So in my spirit was to talk about sin. So my topic is about sin / our repentance. Yeah sin and repentance. So go and kind of unfold that. So we'll start off with a few scriptures from her sister, Veronica and Calvin.

Right so the first scripture is 1 Peter 2:9-10 and I'm reading out of the New King James version and it says, but you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, his own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of him who called you out of the darkness into his marvelous light.

Who once were not a people, but are now the people of God who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. And I'm going to read Genesis 1:26-28-31, ok.

And God said, let us make man in our image after our likeness and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creep eth upon the earth.

So God created a man in his own image in the image of God created he him, male and female, created he them and God bless them. And God said unto them, be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it, and have the minion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.

And to skip down to verse 30. And to every beast of the earth and to every fowl of the air and to everything that creep eth upon the earth, wherein there is life. I have given every green herb for me, and it was so. Oh, sorry and God saw everything that he had made and behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Ok and I'm going to read Genesis 2:15-17 and that says then the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend to it and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying of every tree of the garden you may eat freely. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat for in the day that you eat of it, you shall surely die.

Ok and we have two more scriptures I'm going to read Genesis 2:8 and then jump down to 21 to 23. So Genesis 2:8 and the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there he put the man whom he had formed.

I'll jump down to verse 21 through 23. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept, and he took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh instead thereof. And the rib, which the Lord had taken from man, made he a woman and brought her on to the man.

Ok and the next? Oh, sorry left out 23 and Adam said this is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman because she was taken out of man all right. And then the final set of scriptures is Genesis 3:4-5 and then verses 6-24.

So 4 reads, then the serpent said to the woman, you will not surely die for God knows that in the day that you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes. And a tree desirable to make one wise, she took up its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her and he ate.

Did we miss something? Genesis 3:6-24 now, so when the woman saw that the tree was good, which is what I've read, she took it and gave it to her husband and they both ate and opened their eyes were open and that they knew that they were naked.

They sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings, and they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him where are you? So he said I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked and I hid myself. And he says who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat.

Ok, then the man said the woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree and I ate. And the Lord God said to the woman, what is this you have done? The woman said the serpent deceived me and I ate.

So the Lord God said to the serpent, because you have done this, you are cursed more than all cattle and more than every beast of the field on your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life.

And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between her seed, your seed and her seed, he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel. To the woman, he said I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception in pain. You shall bring forth children, your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.

Then Adam to Adam, he said because you have heeded the voice of your wife and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying you shall not eat of it. Cursed is the ground for your sake in toil, you shall eat of it all the days of your life.

Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field in the sweat of your face, you shall eat bread till you return to the ground. For out of it you were taken for dust you are and dust you shall return.

And Adam called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all living, also for Adam and his wife, the Lord God made tunics of skin and clothe them. Then the Lord God said, behold the man has become like one of us, to know good and evil.

And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat and live forever. Therefore the Lord God sent him out of the Garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken.

So he drove out the man and he placed cherubim at the east of the Garden of Eden. And a flaming sword, which turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life. I want to thank you all so very much for reading that for me and I'll put you on the spot at the last minute, but appreciate it.

I'm kind of going somewhere with that talking about sin, repentance and being redemption, how we are going to be redeemed from the curse of the law. So let's jump into this both feet and hands. What is sin?

If anybody want to tackle that right quick, what is sin? OK, so it's no problem. I'll break it down. What is sin, ok, but anyway, I'm going to give you my version of what I think saying is I think it's anything that is opposed to what God's will is for us.

He had a plan for us in in the beginning and we went against his plan. So that means we opposed to anything that God wants for man to do. I think I mean that might not be a good version, but that's what I think when I you know, so.

I think you've been looking in my notes. Hey, Miss Mary. Yes, that's exactly what I was looking for. I also wrote that sin is seen as violating a law or a set of rules established by higher power, which is God's breaking God's commandment.

Failing to do what is right, or harping with intentions. So God created and sustained everything that existed. Thank you, Miss Mary, but sin damaged, God's creation and his relationship with humanity.

But God is at work in the world, restoring both. Being a Christian is how you consistently respond to your sin, meaning like meaning like somebody bullying you. But you still can win. Because sin would talk crazy to you.

If you notice, sin is like it will make you think you have more power than the gospel. Sin would make you feel like it has more strength than the spirit. Sin will be real, loud and boisterous, but if the cross is real and Jesus did defeat death and rose from the grave, then that means that you and I have the power to be righteous.

Power to live holy power to live like Jesus. Though this power you can get through the power of sanctification. So that means that by this process you can get strapped for cash, not for just going to church and then anybody go to church and you go to church on getting a night.

But through the process of fasting, praying, reading, studying the scriptures and the Bible with light believers and sometimes unlike believers it changes our whole life of sanctification.

So let me ask you a question. Are you stuck and guilt from sin? Are you still in guilt from sin? Here's what God wants you to do. Now, don't say if you make a simple mistake, you should feel sorry over it, because that is not the right answer. That's not the appropriate response for a believer.

However don't get stuck there just because you have seen him. For a 2 Corinthians 7:10 says for godly sorrow worketh patience to salvation. And Romans 3:23 says but what the law could not do.

I'm sorry hold on. Ok, Romans 3:23 says being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. So you shouldn't be stuck in the guilt of because you committed sin.

So in 2 Corinthians 17 says For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation. God doesn't want you to forever live in the misery of that mistake if you make one. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

That's 1 John 1:9, it's healthy to feel a sense of brokenness over sin but true believers feel comfortable and compromised living. But after you acknowledge the sin and repent it, it's time, it's just time to move on. Oh, give me back my joy again.

Psalms 51:8 says give me back my joy again because you have broken me. Now, now let me rejoice. Whether you made a mistake 10 years ago or 10 seconds ago or in the past. Repent, move on and cooperate with the Holy Spirit as he help you to do better.

Now, how does God deal with sin? Well, glad you asked. Well, when I receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal savior. And when I repented of my sin, first of all, I trust him. I believe him by faith, which I'm sure some of you all do.

That what he said that what he said in his word and that he was my and I made him my personal Lord and saying you Jesus Christ. And I went through the prayer of salvation saying that I was born again.

But I believe what I was saying by faith. I was just saying words. So and then as a result of that saying legally, is that we are forever and ever once you confess those sins. Hebrews 8:12 says for I will be merciful to their own righteousness and their sins and their iniquity.

I will remember them no more. Now what you need to understand is that when you get saved ever sin that's in the past, present and future is buried in the grave of God forgiveness. Once you confess your sins and believe in your heart that Jesus was raised from the grave.

Isaiah 43:25 says I even I am he that blotted out thy transgressions for my own sake. I would not remember those things anymore. Now I don't know where you are at as it relates to God.

I don't know what your relationship or the level of maturity you're at. I don't know what struggles you are having. I don't know what fears and what burdens you are carrying. I don't know what temptations that you may be wrestling with.

But one thing that I do know for sure is that God loves you and God just didn't say he love you. He proved it. How did he prove? He proved it by sending his only son in the flesh to die for our sins, I think that was true.

To release us from sin and the authority over us that we could look like God. That's why he is because he wanted us. We he was made and created in the image of God. So God wanted to remove that sin so we can continue to look like him because we're made in his image.

Then the question arises. How do you know that you are free? Well, glad you asked that too. You are free simply by acknowledging what the word says, but the word of God says. And responding to that word by saying by the acts that of repentance, I repent on my sins.

So now what is repentance? Repentance mean that you are turning from something. And if you say turn, people always say, ok, I'll make a whole full of loop turn 360° turn. But I say turn 180 and the reason why is because you make that 360° turn, it's gonna connect and when it connect you starting all over again all over again.

So you want to have a place where, hey, I believe I receive what I say. And it's gonna come to pass because God said so we'll say that 180°. I think that's fair. But to turn from sin with a repentive heart means that the person is refusing the sin and deciding that this sin is not worth my energy anymore.

It is not worth my throat. Definitely not worth my ministry because when you tell one lie, you gotta keep filling with another lie, another lie, another lie. It's not worth my heart. It's not worth falling out on the floor drunk, because when you get up, you don't remember what you've done.

So I don't think it's worth. It is not even worth my soul going to hell. So I made a decision. My decision and a conclusion of my decision was based on not what I feel, but what God has said.

So I want to turn towards somebody. And that somebody was guess who? Jesus, Jesus. It was Jesus. The one who is good, who is righteous, who is true, who is Lord, who is king, who is Sayer, who is good.

I say who is good? He's better than us than we is to ourselves. And that's what my grandma used to say. Who is eternal. And who is coming back for a church you and I, without a spot or a wrinkle.

Now, what is salvation? Salvation is where Christ freed us. He freed us from the penalty of sinning and the control and power of sin. Now, once we are saved, we are set free from sins power but also given power over sin.

Now, why is that good news? I'm glad you asked, because you are still in that body and you can be safe, but your body is not. And the reason why I say that let me take a minute is because your body has all kinds of sinful patterns, patterns.

It has all kind of sinful desires and it has all kind of sinful passion. And just because you as a Christian that don't mean you don't have those sense sinful desires. You are still in a world that is assessed with darkness, which means that every single day of your life you will be tempted to sin.

You would still want to do some things you would still want to go to those places that you know you shouldn't go. You would still want to say things that you don't supposed to say. Being tempted don't mean you is not a Christian.

That's why the Lord, he gave the scripture in 1 John 1:9 repent of our sins because we're Christian, but we're still going to sin. Are redeemed the first sin to come upon man was with Adam. And you can look at Romans 5:12.

You can write these scriptures down just for time sake. So I won't have to read them all and Titus 2:14 and the alt Bible Jesus gave his life to free us. The enemy will have you to question yourself about your relationship with Christ.

Death was not part of the creation. Jesus was the only one that was qualified for death. Genesis 3:17-24. You can write that scripture down if we haven’t read it. Hebrews 9:22 and the NFT, you can read that as well.

I lost my phone, that's why I can't read my scriptures. I'm sorry about that, but you heard on now you all might have heard on Resurrection Sunday. That Jesus shed his blood on the cross. We all heard that right.

Well, when Jesus shed his blood was shed on the cross it was for our sins. And when his blood was shed on their cross. It was for our sickness and our diseases and that tried to come against us.

When his blood was shed on that cross. We were redeemed from poverty and bought into an abundance of life that Jesus prayed the price for us. Glory to God. 1 Peter 2:24, but if I  had a phone I could have read it.

But that means he came, that he became sin, every imaginary sin that man could account. That he can account for Jesus became that sin. Jesus the righteous one, the selfless one. He bore our sins in his own body, on the tree at cavalry, so that we can be made dead to sin and shall live until righteousness.

He redeemed us from the curse of the law. Power to God. That by his stripes, you were healed. Hallelujah. So if you was here Diabetes, call it out, you gotta go. Hypertension, you gotta go.

What about cancer? Don't want that either. You gotta go, cancer. You have no right authority because we have been redeemed by his blood. The blood of the lamb. His the stripes that Jesus bore healed you and me.

All we gotta do is receive it by faith. It's a done deal. When it was finished on that cross. It was a finished work. So that you can tell. So now you can tell those diseases that's plaguing you that it must bow, it must bow down to the name of Jesus thou blood of Jesus.

You gotta say it cause the Bible says let the redeemed of the Lord do what say so, let the redeem of the Lord say so. So since Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law, now let the redeem of the Lord say so.

If you believe that in your heart today when you get off this land, I want you to let the redeem mother Lord say so cancer got the bow. It got the bow down because it has no place in your in your life.

Now you gave your life over to the Lord. Take me, use me, heal me, mold me so cancer gotta go. And I always say, you know, my sister was diagnosed with cancer. But I said it's not unto death we can overcome that too.

Why? Ain't nothing happened to my mouth and my tongue. We can pray and we got to believe in God. And she guess what she is in remission because we believe God that no, it's got to go.

It's got to bow down to the name of Jesus. But it's already given you, so you got to take. It's already given to you so you got to take a hold of it. We don't fight but we fight the good fight of faith. Hold on to our faith.

We don't try to get victory. Why? Because we already got the victory. Jesus died on the cross for us. So guess what? All we got to do is walk in. We got to walk into victory, cause the just shall live by faith.

Faith in his word. You walk in it, you are healed. Cause it's already done. Praise the Lord is already done. You is not trying to get it, you already got it. You have the very nature of God on the inside of you.

You are dealing with a defeated foe. Jesus said I saw it fall just like lightning. Hallelujah he said I have given you authority over all the works of the devil. Use that authority. Use your authority again.

I'm gonna say use your authority. Yes and when you use that authority, all of heaven backs you up when you use that authority. Who is made and created in God's image? Because remember, we said they read it when God created us.

He looked at us and he said and that is good. So we were created in the image of God. So we have to remember to use our thoughts and we were made in God likeness. And while we was in his image and lightness he saw something in us.

And while you were in this image and likeness, he declared something in us. He declared what? And it was good. It's made by me God almighty, it's good and so since you are made in this image in the image of God, you need to shout Hallelujah.

Shout Hallelujah and glory to the God, the King of God that we serve. So now when we look at that redemption, subtitle redemption. Redemption is the means by which our life has been transferred from death to life.

From sin to righteousness, from a poor broken down person to the abundance of life, glory to God. Hallelujah some of you on this line need to stand up and tell that problem that are pledging you that it has to go, talk to it.

And begin to say what God says about you with the closed mouth and about hearing nothing. So you gotta open your mouth because like I say, you have that authority. You are the body of Christ and Christ of the head.

He has put everything under our feet. Hallelujah. You are the triumphant church, the triumphant Church of God. Glory to God. So you need to start talking and laughing at the devil.

Do something y'all just break out in the laugh sometimes. Just break out and laugh. You thought you had me that time Satan, but you don't cause I know who is heard. So sometimes we have to just break out and laugh because Satan doesn’t even know we laughing about, you know, what we are saying in our laugh.

How long we speaking the tone what we're saying. Because he's confused by that. So it's time to rejoice. Yes, it's time to let the devil know who your God is. He's a mighty God. He's an awesome God. He's a faithful God. He's a righteous God. He's a loving God.

Guess what? He's your God. He's a God that you serve. Hallelujah. Now let the Redeemer of the Lord say so. You got to say it. Yes, you got speak it out of your mouth. Hey, if we was in a war and they said, we're gonna go to war.

It was in a war. You got every weapon that you need, especially when you find that spiritual battle, you got everything that you need. So take up that shell, take up that shell of faith. This right here. You that sword of the spirit.

You got to do it. This is your weapon right here. You are and you are capable of doing it, glory to God. Galatians 4:7 of the King James Version write that down also and go back and read it.

You have been redeemed by the blood of the lamb. No more can the curse come upon you. Because I have become the righteousness of God. In closing, coming from Numbers 6:24 and 20:26.

The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up your countenance upon you and give every last one of you all on this land peace. Peace in God we pray, Amen. Thank you, Jesus I'm done. Thank you God.

I like your message because a lot of people, they don't, they don't know what God did and what Jesus did, so they carry a lot of burden. They carry unnecessary burdens when they know they don't know that they can take their acts for forgiveness of their sins.

So I mean, I know people. You know, and I pray for them and so your message was good tonight. I mean, I wish that more people would get to know God and what he did and what his son did.

And then they would to know that if they don't have to carry that burden of sin because we're going, we're going to sin, we can't help it even when we don't even know we're sinning, we sin.

But the thing about it is, God was so gracious. They give his son his son was willing to die for our sins and that's the thing a lot of people. I don't know and we need to pray that they get to know God and his son and what he did for what they did for us.

Amen. I didn't think I had enough time, but I had a quick testimony and I looked at my clock and thought you would be raising up. You know, her hand in the background saying, you know, could it because I talk a lot, even though y'all don't know me, so I try to be quiet or they don't get me. So I try to be respectful.

So now I have just a quick quick ticket testimony. Why I had all of those you all to read those scriptures at the beginning about sin because it is just so easy to fall there and I'm going to tell my truth.

And Dorothy never heard this truth and I tell her a lot of stuff. She love to hear my stories, but this is my truth that she may not have heard because it was embarrassing. But I you know, I think I told you all once before I was going through a little period.

I have to spell it, cause I can’t say the word. It's ICK because I own it to it, so I spell it. I was going through that process on my legs and stuff and the doctor had told me that when I get to sixty that I wouldn't be able to walk in.

Which Dorothy came down and basically moved from Seattle to take care of me and my mom and Lord thank you Jesus for her. And we never told the rest of the family what was going on with me.

We never because you got the remember that everybody don't believe like you believe they see you in the physical state. They don't see what God can do. They see you in the natural, not in the spirit.

So I know what I don't believe in what I was talking and what I was confessing. And I don't want nobody to talk against what I was doing, ok? So anyway, so I'm going to a conference. I think it was like in year 2018, right before COVID came.

And so I'm at a conference and I know that I had to retire at the time. I kept saying I was going to retire because my health was failing a little, and so I went to the conference. I think that Arkansas and I was talking to this 78 year old guy.

He's a sheriff and in his town older man and he was telling me about his related health issues and he had to retire because I'm a people person. I love to talk. If I see you once, I'll know you when I see you 10 years from now, I'm still gonna know you because I'm get all your information.

Doctor said it was in me when I was born. You say they call me nosy Rosie. I'm not nosy. It just it. I know I listen with my ears and I can repeat back to you what you said ok, I'm paying attention.

So I know when the guy was sitting there talking and then I began to share. He was the first person outside of the door I was sharing with what I was going on. So here's the devil coming through him and I didn't even recognize it at the time because I have a soulful heart, ok grieving.

And so he say, you know what, before you leave this world, you know, he asked me, was I married? That ain't never been married, I said my daughter's dad I know y'all know this, died when she was 2 1/2 years old.

So now I ain't never been married. I have only one child. He was like ok, well, what do you do for fun? I don't do nothing fun, well go to Church, because that's what I was brought up to.

So he was like, well, you don't do nothing. Well, look, you need to do something with your time you need before you leave this world. Cause he had already said I was dying. He ain't know me, but he was telling me I'm dying.

And so I said ok, I'm in my ears. Well, let's have fun. Yeah, let's hang out. He said well, I got a friend you need to met. So I met the friend, he was the chief in his county as well. Nice looking guy.

So here comes Satan. And I was like, oh, let me check him out. And I know I don't even talk like that. I'm like, oh, he's fine. He looks good to me. If I'm a leave the world, I'm gonna go out with me a fine man.

So you know. So well, we got to talking and stuff and the guy, and so we all went out to eat and whatever. So that on the guy said we'll come up to the room. And I'm like, well,  I don't do things like that, but I'm just gonna go and see what's going to happen.

Ok, so I go in the room, we talk about church and stuff like that. But here are my little sanctified say yourself saying whoa, but you're fine, you know. And so this the man took advantage of that ok, well, let me start talking like she talking.

But then the Holy Spirit stop me. Say, what is you doing? What is you doing? Because I can hear from the Holy Spirit, you get out of there, because he's a Christian, he say he's a Christian, don't mean he's a Christian.

You don't know nothing about this man. So I did. I got out of there. And so I just kind of made excuse and get on out and, you know, see the next day, seeing that day just talking small talk.

But as I got back and people sending stuff to my phone. This is a guy that worked right under the pastor. He's under the pastor of his church, but he was caught on the down low at the conference with millions.

Now, you know, the down low means. So I'm just saying God is an intelligent God and the enemy would creep on up when you're in your lowest vulnerable moment. Now what if I would have just sit there and be with I'm trying to act like it's just no tomorrow.

Just no tomorrow, but right then it taught me it taught me a lesson. I repented on my sin right then. Lord, what is this I'm getting myself into but the Lord told me ain't even out of you. What are you talking? You ain't there till I say you going to die

He's going to die and I knew that I had already confessed the Lord you, you know, I know that you said I should live and not die. So the Lord said, you know, I already confessed that. What are you doing? And I was just so ashamed.

I was so ashamed. But I when I kept trying to do something else, talk on something else. But that just kept coming back to my remember that all those years that's kept coming back to my remembrance. What if? What if I didn't know God?

What if I didn't know how to hear from God? And I'll tell you where I would be right now. So I'm just saying that God is an awesome God and I don't take his love, his precious love for granted, and I tell the dying world about him every day of my life. That's all I know I went on 5 minutes. Let me see, yeah, Amen.

Amen, you know it's good. It's good, Debbie, it's good. Bless you, Debbie. Thank you. Anything Pastor Zee? That was that was good. That was really good. You know I want to encourage you to do something for me.

See this message you just, you know, this study you just study, right? One of the things that you we always want to ask ourselves, why do we fall in love with certain subjects? You know.

Why out of everything that you could decide to teach on? Has to teach on this particular subject. So it shows 1, you have a passion for it and 2, God is speaking to you about it. So what I need you to do is I want you to take this and I don't want this to be like A1 and this includes for every single one of us.

I want you to keep developing. That the whole entire teaching on this topic, exhaust it. Go for it, go even deeper. Don't just say, yeah, I'm done with it. Go deeper because there's a reason why, right.

And because in order to speak about something, you have to especially in the church. You have to be anointed for. That's why Jesus says I'm anointed to teach this gospel. So sometimes you have an anointing to treat certain subject matters.

And those once you, once you figure it out and I'm sitting here just listening to you, right and notes and in my notes here I'm writing right and I'm hearing things out of you for all of us.

And this here, this subject here, this is what needs to be taught to all of humanity this we need to hear, as frequent as we can. Because when you think about it right? Right from the go. We are all here on earth as sinners.

Soon as you're born, the moment you cry, that little voice you are little sinner. We're all sinners because the scripture says for all who have fallen short.

So if this is one thing that identifies us, don't you think this is one thing that we should be talking about a lot because this is like the thing that is, at the base of our existence.

But we have done it disservice to ourselves because we have pushed this aside and we talk about everything else except this. And then the scripture says what profits are made to gain the whole entire world and lose your soul.

So it's important that we talk about sin. And like you said, Deborah before this night is done, we're going to sin. Pastor Zee I don’t know if you were at the worship center when this pastor came there, and he preached a message.

I think his name was Pastor Umber or somebody like that. But anyway he his message was so good because he talked about he said if all of our sins had sents to them, you know, SENTS, lot of people talk about people who drink and smoke, but we have secret sins.

But he said, what if all of our sins had a sent to them? I thought that was a good message. You know, when you talk about, you know, we need to talk about sin.

I think that's a good message  to tell people because a lot of people want to talk about what somebody else does, and yet they gotta sin too.

But you can't see it because it's hidden and they don't talk about it. You know they can't. You can't smell. They're saying, you know what I'm saying. So, yeah do you remember that?

I think I might. I might remember this guy. I can't think of his name right now. I know him real well, but I can't think of him. But I wish I could find that message because it was so good you know.

If you we read Calvin and Veronica read Genesis Chapter 3, right? Yeah. It says now, man, if is this, you know what? Good end. So I mean, just think about that. That the doorway to sin is knowing good and evil.

Not sinning, not you have sin no. The fact that you know good and evil is considered sin. because think about what Adam and Eve did in the garden, right? They didn't murder anybody, they didn’t steal from anybody. They didn't do any of the heinous crimes that we see now, right.

I mean, if Adam and Eve were are living today and did what they did. I don't think any one of us, the people who live in this world, will be like, yeah, they are sinners. I mean, think about that.

I mean compare what Adam and Eve did to what's going on in Vegas. Well, you can't you. You wouldn't say they as I mean right now if you do something they did. You possibly be exonerated with the church.

So the idea of sin, right? And this is so important therefore, the idea of sin is a set up that man has. It's almost like men coming into covenant with the devil. Not doing things, no coming into covenant with the devil.

Because the first original scene right, the very first original sin that Satan committed, how he became known as a sin. How you became, how you moved from being an Angel to a Sinner.

What did he do? He didn't kill anybody. He exalted himself for above the knowledge of who God is. That's the original sin. So Adam did Adam and Eve did the same thing, in other words, you should not know what you know right now.

The only thing you're supposed to know is what I tell you. And then what you do after I told you what you do, but they desired to extend their knowledge outside of what was given to them as the parameter and that became the original sin.

So the church or 20% will tend to look at people who do stuff and then like, yeah, that's a Sinner, no sin is a setup. If you're outside of, if you are setting up your desires and things that you do to the plans of who the devil is that’s sin.

Not if you kill another person. Killing another person is the evidence of just as much as if you are working with the Holy Spirit, the evidence of the Holy Spirit is you being kind to another person.

So when you finally murder a person that's not sin, that's evidence of what is in here. That's evidence of your sinful nature. So that so how do you get to murder? You have to agree with the devil.

And in agreeing with him, he would take you through a journey until you are fully convinced that what you are doing is right. Inasmuch as you agree with Christ, he would take you through a journey until the fruits of righteousness start coming through you.

And that is the evidence that you are righteous, not being righteous. No the evidence is actions that come out of. So that's essentially what sin is a setup where you have agreed you've come into communion with the devil.

Not you have done something. Actually, you're doing something now is evidence that something here is not right. That's why Jesus says, why do you call me good? Because definition right Genesis knowing good and?.

So if you're no good, it doesn't mean here righteous. Because if you know good and evil because we were not supposed to know good and evil. We're supposed to just know what the Lord said.

Knowing good and knowing evil was not part of what God designed for us to do. That's why God says, hey, do not eat of this fruit because there are things I don't want you to know. That there is good and there is evil.

Again why? Why is God, I mean, think about it. Why is God saying that because something had happened where in the heavens that we were not aware of. Adam and Eve did not know Satan was alive or there was a man called Satan or Lucifer.

They had no idea because this had already happened before what? Their dispensation. So God was intent was to hide that away from this new creation. But says we're going to open your eyes.

Why so? Because I want you to see something else that is actually good and there's evil and God called that sin. Knowing good and evil. Why? Because we're not supposed to know good and evil.

We're just supposed to do and obey. This is why right when you actually read throughout the scripture, sin is considered disobedience. What are we disobeying? What God is saying not doing.

Doing is the evidence of disobedience, right. If somebody ends up being in prison for murder, you can track that when they were young, they started disobeying, disobeying, disobeying, disobeying, disobeying, disobeying, disobeying and the evidence of disobedience became what? Murder.

So our definition of what sin is, we're like, oh, he is a sinner because you murdered the person, no that's the evidence. He is a sinner because he obeyed. We are all sinners because Adam disobeyed.

What you said brought something to my attention that I hadn't even thought about because we always start off with Satan the serpent come and talk and Eve. But when you were talking about God did not want them to know good and evil.

Because something had already taken place in heaven, so had Satan already rebelled against God before he created Adam and Eve, so God already knew.

Yeah. Oh, you know, I didn't even think about that because Mary think about it. God says to job where were you when we create angels? Yeah, exactly yeah. Because look Genesis 1. Genesis 1 right, is a chronological order of how God did things, right Genesis 1.

This is how the earth was formed. But now because remember, when we were young, we used to have this question. So if God created this, where was he? What was he doing? Right, which is kind of like a mute subject.

Here's why it is mute. Because God has always existed and has always been creating things. That's why he's called a creator cause he creates. Genesis 1 Day one, day 2, day three, day four, day five, day six, day seven.

Those are not 24 hour days. Those are dispensation of time. That's why a day is like 1000 in the Lord. So you have thousands of years in one sovereign day. Cause how do we know this? If you go to Genesis 2 which is the summation of Genesis 1, it starts off like this.

These are the generations plural of the heavens. That were created in a day not in days in a day. So generally, so chapter one day one, day two, day three is generations of the heavens create that were created in one sovereign day.

So which means that prior to Genesis 1, God existed. Angels existed, the heavens existed. What were they doing? Who knows? That was not for us to know. It was not meant for us to know.

Cause Satan sinned what did he do? He exalted himself for about the knowledge of who got it, where in the heavens before the earth, then God created the earth and placed the human beings on the earth for the purposes of worshipping him.

Maybe he was trying to replace what the angels that took Satan took with him when he was thrown out. Because when remember when Satan is thrown out, he doesn't come to the Earth cause it was not created.

He settled where? in the heavens. Second, that's why Paul talks about. 1st, 3rd, 3rd and 2nd and 1st Heavens right. So he could not come to the earth. God then say I'm going to create a species that's in my own image for the sole purposes of worshipping me.

All I want them to know is to raise their hands and in worship with me. All I want them to know is what I tell them to know. All I want them to do is commune with me. That's it. I don't want them to know anything else other than this because I desire to be worshipped.

And for their own benefits, they will worship me in spirit and in truth. Then Satan shows up. He's like yo, did you know there is more to know. How did he? How did he know? Because he knows what happened.

Isn't it, I mean. Think about these guys. Isn't it amazing most of the time we tell each other stories. The first thing that like yo did, you know? Hey girl, did you know what happened yesterday?

Oh my God, did you know? Did you see? Cause we have those traits now in us. So once we came to the knowledge of good and evil. That's when our eyes and minds were opened to things that we should not.

Again, I'll prove this to you in just the way we exist. Most of us, we, all of us, we have children and grandchildren. Isn't it amazing there are certain conversations that we can't have around them.

Why? We don't want them to know. Why? Cause they're not mature enough to grasp it. So when Adam and Eve were created they were infants in spiritual things. Was God going to reveal to them later on? Maybe.

This is why if you get saved today, we don't give you a microphone to preach. Even though you are a saved person, why? Because you have to go through a process and grow in order to do that.

Then so it's the same thing Satan was like. Yeah I gotta introduce you to something that you don't know. That's why good and evil is considered the origination of sin. Not because you murdered the person.

Now, if we understand this right, if we understand good and evil, that's that sin. That's when we have to run to where?

Again, this is where it leads us back to the Holy Spirit now. Because what's the sole purpose of the Holy Spirit Commune conversation instructs give us direction.

Why? So that we can go back to the original state where God is just saying and we are doing. This is why, holiness is not going to church and is not doing things. Holiness comes down to obedience to who to the spirit.

Again, now use Deborah here as an example. She goes to this room cause the devil say hey, did you know there is good and evil? And she's like, no here I want to go check it out. That's what Satan did. I'm going to go check it out.

So he goes up there and he's checking it out. Now the problem that Adam and Eve had was that there was no Holy Spirit. Jesus did come and die. In Deborah's case, the Holy Spirit was like, hey, hey.

I will give you one of these. Get out of there right now and sister got their bag and keys. She was like I'm out. Now if you really want to understand what holiness is not the lack of temptation.

The quickest way to holiness is overcoming temptation. How do we overcome temptation? Whoever has an ear, let him hear what the spirit says. Because he knows all things, such as even the deep things of God, and reveals them to us.

So when you hear him say hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Don’t do that. Don't do that. Don't do that. If you obey you are holy. If you proceed, you are tainted. Now here's the crazy part.

Whether you do something or not that leads to people believing that you are a sinner. I'll give you a good here's a good example. Let's use Debora again. When she's talking to this brother, I'm sure from the onset the Holy Spirit says hey, right.

Deb, you can you can answer to this one. I'm sure way back down to this first floor talking the Holy Spirit was like, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, right. And Deb was like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Now let's say Deborah did not go upstairs right. But let's say she says yeah, I think this is a good idea. Is she still a sinner? Is she still a sinner?

Yes cause her going upstairs was evidence of something that has already happened in the heart. If she does not entertain it at all then we don't talk about this anymore.

Yeah Pastor Zee, you just hit on something because this is what Jesus said. He said you don't have to commit to act. All you have to do is think it. So you're right. She didn't even have to go up the steps.

I mean, think about it that's why this scripture, This is why I always say this scripture is so incredibly there. Then it doesn't it tell us what to think about. Whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is this, think about these things.

Let this mind that is in Christ be in you also. Why? Because if the mind that's in Christ be in you, then we can take this off the table. We don't even have to talk about it. It's not on the table.

I always say to the kid, you know, people always say it says think outside of the box, right. I always say, hey, don't put the box. Don't even put the box there. So if this is the same thing that you know where the Holy Spirit is trying to lead us to.

Is to where we don't even think about these things. They're not even an option. It's not even on the table at all. Deborah here is a homework assignment sister, I want you to just make this a life cause.

To teach on sin, study it in it's all different parts. I can help you with this if you want, right and just broaden it and kind of really break it down because we're going to need these explanations because a lot of people, their definition of sin.

That's why people don't go to repentance. Because they think well, what do I need to repent for? I'm living right and doing anything. I'm not doing. No, because that's not about that. Knowing good and evil all right, let's end here. May the Lord bless everybody.

May the Lord bless you and walk with expectations. Guys always expect that the Lord is doing something because he is always doing something. It's either you just don't know it, but he's always doing something.

Keep reading your words. Keep studying scriptures, keep worshipping the Lord. All these things, right? Just keeps the devil at bay. You know, sometimes I'm, like, I'd rather I don't wanna fight the devil.

I just don't even want him to around here. Where I don't have to there's things I need to keep my fight for, not him just being loitering around here. No, we don't want to deal with that. Who's praying? Jesse. Yeah, you look like you can pray.

Lord Jesus, I just thank you. I thank you for today. I just thank you that this is the day that you have made and we will rejoice in it and be glad Lord God Father God, I just thank you for your mercy for your grace, for keeping us in perfect peace. Lord. God.

Lord so as we go on this way this week, Lord go before us in any situation that any of us may find face ourselves with thank you for being the God of Emmanuel. The God that is just with us at all time and for continuously loving us in spite of us Lord God.

We rebuked the enemies plan of attack on our mind, on our spirit and Lord, we just thank you for who you are and what your word says Lord God, we thank you for your word that it is true and that you are not like man, you cannot lie.
