Who is God?
Scripture says, "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge," (Hosea 4:6). We have a lot of churches that are full of people who don't really know the Kingdom they are part of. Today, I'm laying a foundation by starting with the questions, "Who is God? How do we know God exists? And can we really know God?"
Uh, today I want to, you know, this whole year, really, I wanna lay a foundation for the basic truths. That I think and believe every believer should know and this is coming from the fact that you know we have a lot of churches that are full of people who really don't know the Kingdom they are part of.
And we have become so influenced, we've come really smart that the simple things that we should know we don't.
We know about everything else, but just the basic truths about this Kingdom that would claim to be part of we don't know it.
And I think that Scripture that says my people perish because they lack knowledge. It was written because God knew.
Your money, it will always be this way, where we don't lack the knowledge that we need about the things that we should, and yet we know everything about everything that we should not know about.
You know, right now we're living in the age of information, right? You hear? Oh, my God. I mean, there's so much information. You go on YouTube almost everybody is a podcast. Almost everybody is talking about something. And you get to this place where you're like, OK, who's listening to who then?
And then sometimes when you really kind of look really deep you realize, man, there's a lot of things that people don't really even know about this Kingdom that we are part of so. This year I'm laying a foundation.
Now let's start. So today, we're going to talk about who is God. Like you know, we talk about God, but who is he like? Who is God? And what are his attributes?
So that we all can answer this question when somebody asks you who is God, you claim to love God. Who is he? Where is the evidence, what do you know?
And you have to have an answer for it. Now, just some basic fundamentals. When you go to Genesis 1 it chronicles how the world came to existence. And in all that it says, God was just literally speaking just words.
Which tells us automatically right there the force of this being, I want you to imagine. There is nothing and then a voice speaks and then there is something. And that's something I'm not just talking about. One thing I'm talking about multiple of billion of things.
If you think about a rabbit running around in your in your back yard, a mosquito, a fly. I mean things that we don't really stop and think about. And the idea and the thing that God just saw that and that became something.
That in itself kind of explains. This being that is beyond comprehension. So Genesis 1 is the story of creation day one, day two, day three, day four, day five, day six, day seven and day seven the scripture says, and God rested. And what did he rest from?
God rested from creating.
Not from any of his other attributes, but he rested from creating Genesis 2 then goes up. It says these are the generations of the heavens that were created in a day. Which means that. Genesis 2 is a summation of Genesis chapter 1, but it says all that was done in a day.
It says these are the generations, not these are the generations of the heavens that were created in a day. Those day one, day two, day three, day four, day five, day six, day seven.
Those are not 24 hour days. One day in the Lord is like what 1000. So in God's idea of a day that's not 24 hours, that's generations so this guard, who spoke that into existence.
The question now becomes. Who is he? Who is he? And to get our answers right and this is important for everybody.
I want you to really grab the knots and things that you need to know because I want all of us to be able to answer these questions, but not only that, I want all of us to be able to do our own introspective research so we can get the revelation that we need to function in this.
Amen. All right. So to get the knowledge of who God is. It comes through three sources. The first one is through divine revelation. That's when God just shows up.
He just chooses you for whatever reason, and he reveals himself to you and on in that moment, you automatically realize, oh there is a different being than me.
The second, the second one is the wax of creation. Revealing the existence of God, in other words, when you open your window and you look outside you see a world that is furnished.
And if you are walking on the beach and for the first time you ever see a watch? It automatically tells you that there is a watchmaker. So when you open your window, you see trees. You see everything laid in a way where it looks so beautiful.
And you, we have to understand somebody put it there. Somebody put it there. And the way he was put there is in this process where whatever that's put there has this ability to continuously reproduce itself and replace itself. Then ultimately we get the knowledge of who God is through scriptures.
Those are the three sources where you get to understand who God is. This is why I've been encouraging you guys to stay in your word. Read your Bible because it's impossible, impossible to know who God is without the ultimate source, which is his scriptures.
This is why guys, if you see people who don't go to church, what do they do on Sunday? They go to the parks, picnics, take walks, hikes.
What they don't understand is that there's an inner part of us that is calling out to God, and you can't stop it from recognizing where it came from.
So those are the three sources where we get the revelation of who God is. Now God has revealed himself in all these three things in these three sources. God has revealed himself through three distinct persons.
The father, the son and the Holy Spirit. Out of all of this, we get the elements of the plan of salvation rooted in the mysterious and nature of the God.
That out of the father, son and the Holy Spirit that's how you get to salvation, and what is salvation? Salvation is the doorway for us to get a really greater understanding of who God is.
Without salvation, it's almost extremely impossible and difficult for you to understand who God is this is why I would even dare to say this.
People who never really understand what marriage is until you are saved. If you are not saved, you never understand what marriage is. Because when you think about what salvation is, is God's spirit.
Marrying your soul and producing the Christ in you. That's why Jesus said to marry the church. That's when men marry women, cause it's a revelation of who God is.
And that's why we have to understand these things so that we can really put our lives into proper perspective and context.
Now, Father, which is God sent the son to be the sacrificial lamb for what for sin? The son when he returned to glory He then sent the spirit.
As a force to apply redemption to men, that's what the Holy Spirit is, a forced to apply redemption to men. And why is he doing all of this? Why is God trying to reveal himself? Is for one particular reason for mankind to return to glory.
Why do we have to return to glory so that we can offer a much more pure form of worship? So, the revelation of God should ultimately bring you to this knowledge. Number one a person of God the father. His divine nature. His handiwork that works of his hands.
How he operates and his purpose for humanity. Question two we need to answer. How do we know that God exists? This is a question that you walk around sometimes you hear people asking these questions explain to me, how do you know?
Here's a question you could answer in abc if they ask you that. The fact that you are asking this question says that you know. Otherwise, if there was nothing you have no question. So, one of the reasons, one of the ways we know God exists is that all of humanity has an inner sense of who God is.
God owns us by virtue of creation. He created us and he owns us. Whether you are an atheist, whether you don't like it, whether you like it, whether you think this creature says the Earth and its all inhabitant is his.
A Tesla cannot drive around and say, you know what, I don't belong to Tesla. Well, we made you. You belong to us. We made you. Then number two the evidence that is found in scripture and nature.
Roman 1: 21, You know, let's start from Roman 1:18. It says the wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness, godlessness and wickedness of people who suppress the truth by their wickedness.
Since what may be known about God is plain to them. Because God has made it plain to them for since the creation of the world, God's invisible qualities, his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made so that people are without excuse.
In other words, once you see nature and what has been made by this invisible God you should have no excuse whatsoever about the existence of God.
Roman 1:21 for although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him by their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal human beings and birds and animals and reptiles.
Therefore, God gave them over in the sinful desire of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another, they exchange the truth about God for a lie and worship and deserved created things rather than the creator who is forever praised Amen.
So, in other words when you deny the existence of God because of what has been presented to you as evidence. What ends up happening is that you slowly but surely start drifting from things that normalize society and doing something else.
And then when you get to that place, God just says, you know what, I will give you over to your own thoughts.
For me, this is one of the scariest scriptures because if all of us can attest to this. I want you imagine some of the worst thoughts you have during the day. Just your worst thoughts. Be it at work a colleague you don't like and sometimes you feel like just slapping somebody.
There's Daisy just feel going all Kung Fu on somebody, right? I want you to imagine your waist thoughts. And God says, I'll give you over to that. And this is why we are seeing what we are seeing.
Because if society refusing the evidence, not the knowledge, because we all know it because we came from him. But is the evidence that we're refusing that God exists.
This is why sin leads people to think irrationally and to deny God's existence. And someone thinking who has been deceived will say. That's why Scripture says anybody who's full said there is no God.
When you are a Christian, when you get saved, your inner sense and awareness of God becomes stronger and more distinct.
This is why you see people who are saved see God in everything. See God in a joke, see God in a car, see God in a laugh, see God in anything.
You look at the clouds, you're like, oh, you look at the cloud, it says God it might not even say God, but the fact of the matter is that that evidence becomes more paramount and real to you.
That you can say, yeah, surely there is a God. So, we have to believe the evidence and the evidence of scripture and nature. Every created thing gives evidence that God is, exists.
Now let's look at let's get a little bit smart and go through the 21st. Maybe you know a more of a theological thinking, traditional proofs of the existence of God.
Cosmological argument says every known thing in the universe has a cause. Therefore, the universe itself must have a cause. And the cause of such great because of such a great universe can only be a God. Everything has a purpose, everything has a purpose.
Any of the theological argument says since the universe appears to be designed with a purpose there must be an intelligent and purposeful God who created it to function this way.
The number of waves when sitting at the beach, will always be one and even number, right, How does that happen?
Just the way it is. Whether we like it or not, the sun is coming out tomorrow from the east. If we want to change that so it can come from the north tomorrow. We can't do it. Who made it go that way, it has evidence that God exists.
Then you have the ontological argument assumes the idea of God's divine as being greater than which nothing can be imagined. Arguing that the characteristic of existence must belong to such a being, since it is greater to exist than not to exist.
Your presence on this Bible study group right now is evidence enough your existence is evidence enough that God exists.
I always say this and some of you might have heard, heard from last last year and I said every single person here has got a mother and a father that's two and those two have a mother and a father that's four.
Eight, sisxteen, thirtytwo, sixtyfour, one twenty eight, two fifty six, one thousand and sixty four, two thousand and forty eight, four thousand and ninety six people.
That head to meet fall in love, have a child meet, fall in love, have a child in order for you to exist so that you can be on this call and that's only 12 generations ago. What's the possibility of that if it was left for us to figure it out, or if it was supposed to be a Big Bang Theory.
Now you also have the moral argument. Right, man has a sense of what's right and wrong. How do we even know what's wrong and what's right. Unless there's a God who says this is wrong, this is right.
This is why we all know what not to do to another person. So all these proofs, right, they correctly evaluate the fact that God exists.
Question 3 Can we really know God like really say we say man, I really know him. How much of God can we know? The necessity of God to reveal himself to us.
Now here's the thing though. Prior to Genesis 1, God existed, correct. Because he tells Job, he tells job where were you when we created angels.
And we know for a fact that angels were not created in our timespan. That was the time before Genesis 1, he says where were you when we created angels? So which means that prior to Genesis 1, God existed.
Genesis 1 He then reveals himself. So the Scriptures now give us a record of God's existence from Genesis 1 to Revelation. Because there are things about God that he doesn't want us to know. They're supposed to remain mysterious.
Genesis6 men decide you know what let's build ourselves a little steps and get to heaven and see where God is doing up there. And God is like no you ain't coming over here because there are things that you should not know.
And by the way this is why I believe we are closer to the return of Christ, because Genesis 6, there comes a time God says you know what I'm sick and tired of what I created.
I'm going to send a flood and destroy everything and what is happening with our generation we want to go to the moon and find out what's out there and do something else and build ourselves a city. God is near, God is near.
Because God is never going to allow us to be successful in that endeavor. Why because he never created us to live on the moon. He gave us the moon to do what to shine during the night for us to see and enjoy the night with the moon not to go live over there.
So now what I'm trying to say is that even in God, trying in his desire to make himself known to us, he can only do that to his own discretion.
So we can never in this lifetime and I believe even after we've gone home to glory. Have a full measure in their understanding of who God is. Even Jesus says I don't even know when the time is I have no idea and yet he came from there he's like, I don't know. So we can never really know God, exhaustively.
We can know God truly, because all that Scripture tells us about God is true. So the answer to that is that the Bible carries within itself necessary amount of revelation and information for each and every one of us to exhaustively know who God is. So your failure to read the Bible means that you are denying yourself the revelation that you need to know who God is.
And in knowing who God is, it also gives you a greater revelation of knowing who you are. That's why me, me and April will always have this saying here that the greater your worship the greater your revelation the greater your revelation, the greater you walk in faith.
And the greater your faith is that greater your worship becomes again and it's a circle. It's in an ending circle because you are worshipping a God who has no beginning nor end, so you cannot exhaustively get to your place where you say I have done enough. But you can do little and there's evidence that you are doing little.
Because in the way that she interpret things. So we have a responsibility to really study scripture and all this is leading back to this one thing guys we have to be a friend to the Bible. Let's look at what the scripture says, who God is.
Write a lot of scriptures and the scriptures I'm going to give you guys right what I want you to do you know, weekly you're gonna get in the home with assignment for your own development is to study these scriptures. The more you study them the greater he is going to reveal himself to you.
One of the most incredible things about God's revelation is these guys, we are all dealing with a lot of problems, crisis issues, you name it, right in our own personal lives.
Be it work family related you name it and all those problems we want to get rid of them, right, but if we try to give rid of things that we do not understand using 5 senses we are never going to get anywhere.
You don't know your great, great, great, great grandfather. What he did and all the stuff that he did. Maybe he killed some people and you have no idea. And the scripture says the sins of the father will visit 3rd and 4th generation.
So, you are dealing with issues that you have no idea where they came from, but you just know that in this family, all the aunts are crazy.
You just know it. Everybody knows it i's an accepted belief now we just, yeah, this is what it is. SSo,in order to solve that problem because you gonna have children and you're like, I don't want my girl to be like that. The closer you get to God the closer he reveals to you the nature of the fight that you are in.
That's why the scripture says we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against rulers and principalities, in the heavenly places that have set themselves in position to make sure that there is total destruction to your existence.
But the knowledge of who God is it's almost kind of like you are introducing a super power. that vanishes all that rubbish.
Again, I always use this example what do you do if you dealing Veronica, you're married to Calvin and Calvin comes in the house every single day from outside, with snow, snow from New York.
Out on the roads, and he's just walking in the house and you're mopping and you're fighting about, like, dude, can't you just remove your boots as soon as you get in the house.
And he continues doing it. After doing it, you talk about it, you go see a councelor about it and he ain't changing for nobody. What do you do, the only way you can deal with Calvin without nagging him is you just go and buy white carpets.
White furniture and you laid all out as soon as he comes in, right he is going to look at the environment and then he's going to look at himself and he realized this cannot come in there.
That's why the speaker says he says narrow is the one the the path, its the gate, its the door. You can't fit everything in a narrow place as you are squeezing through a lot of stuff has to stay behind. Because there is an greater environment that has been introduced.
So in other words. Knowing God is introducing a much greater environment to problems that you don't even know exist.
But God knows this is why it's important to have the knowledge of who God is. Who is he and I'm going to give you notes now. Here we go. Number one, God is 1 my kids love this scripture.
Deuteronomy 6:4 here oh Israel the Lord our God is one. 1 Corinthians 8:6, but to us there is but one God the father of whom are all things, and we in him and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and by we, and we by him.
This one God exists in Father, son and the Holy Spirit. And the incredible thing about that all three persons have distinct qualities that only have the same capabilities. Different individual actions but possess the same power. You can say one is greater than the other they are all the same.
This is why when two people get married, they become one. One, this is why I'm saying to. you guys, it's difficult to understand marriage if you're not saved. One plus one is not one is its two. But in this way one hole in another hole makes one hole. So, God bears all qualities personality.
He is an intelligent, rational moral being, He is reasonable, being capable of determining His own cause He doesn't need help. Each of the three God has the same essence and is not inferior to the other.
Matthew 11: 26-27 all things are delivered unto my father, and no man nor with son, but the father neither nor with any man the father, save the son, and he, to whomsoever the son will reveal himself.
Two, God is eternal, Psalms 90:2. No beginning, no end He was before the world and He will be after the world. Self existing, self satisfied God does not need a counselor. It doesn't need somebody to tell him what happened. Doesn't need your aid in anything. God is omnipotent.
God governs his creation with great power. God's dominion is boundless, universal, absolute and when people say man, God let me down.
God does not let anyone down. He is, nothing can stop God from accomplishing His will. If he said it It will be so. Whether you like it or you don't, whether all of humanity becomes against him we will be sold.
He doesn't make mistakes, He is never late, He’s always on time. You might miss it his timing, but it doesn't mean He wasn't there. It means you were not there. His power derives He derives from himself, He doesn't need to go to the gym to get extra something.
He is the man. God is omnipresent, He is everywhere, everywhere. Including nightclubs, including places that you think he is not, he is there. Watching over everything that's why this scripture says, where can I go where you are not. I can't hide.
There's no place for humanity to hide from God. So if I go to the heavens, he's there. Psalms 139:7-10. You can read that, God is omnission God knows every detail of his creation. To the tee, Mary, right now you don't even know how much hair you have God knows.
If you see them when you go to them places where they have, what do you call those Skittles in a jar and they go, oh, how many Skittles are in this jar? You should watch us say all kinds of stuff and then when they read you're like, geez I was that off.
That's us with God. To the tee there's no mistaking anything to the tee. Past history, He knows it, what we're talking about, your great, great, great, great grandparents, right, you don't he knows. And guess who knows too Satan was there ou were not there.
It is so unfair because you are out here fighting the devil. I bind you. I bind you, I bind you, I bind you, I bind, you said. And he's just like, nah no you don't. Your great, great grandfather, you know, had a deal with so and so and you out here bind you. I'll bind you whatever you bind on.
He's like, no, somebody signed a piece of paper, my friend. And you're out here that's why when you read the Scriptures we don’t wrestle against blood but against rulers and principalities. Keyword in that verse is wrestling because you don't wrestle without touching another person.
So, which means that you have to enter the spiritual realm. In order to get the divine information that you need to understand what you are really up against. Saw that the scripture said the weapons of our warfare are not what, come on but as mighty in what demolishing strongholds.
What is strongholds? Is things that we have set as barriers in our spiritual lives. That we can't see, but they are there and the only way out is to wrestle spiritual wrestle. Acts 15:18, known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world God knows all things once he sees all things at once.
At once we think linear right. God does not think linear. We have January we have Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. God does not have.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. His knowledge is according to perfect wisdom, perfect they're drawn on me, Deutronomy 29:29 says the secret things belong unto the Lord our God.
But those things which are reviewed belong unto us. Into our children. So in other words, right, all secret things that we don't know about belongs to who? To Him. What is revealed to us becomes ours.
This is why God said to Peter, that's why Jesus said to Peter flesh and blood did not reveal this to you. But my father in heaven has revealed this to you and on this revelation I will build my church.
And the gates of hell will not prevail. Which means you've heard me say this before wherever you see hell prevailing that revelation of the father has not yet been revealed to that issue. That's why revelation is important, it's important so that you can fight well.
God is holy. The Hebrew word for Holy literally means separate or set apart, God is separate from all that is defined, separate from all that is defined.
I want you to really stop and think about this guys this is very important. If you define anything God automatically separates himself from that pain.
If you defile the pulpit, if you defile a house, if you defile offering, if you defile anything, anything, if you defile worship. Automatically it's not negotiable. He literally removes himself.
You could be up there preaching and you sound so good and revelation is flowing and you get out of the spirit and you say something that defiles the whole message God literally just says bad cough.
And you know, one of the evidence, if you know a place or a person or what you're doing is default something is that this. Spirit lives and will hold on to religion. Methods, culture, things, how things should be.
We are soul with so much into structure order because we're trying to replicate what has been removed so that it can still look like that's why I was saying to people God does not take all worship.
That's why Hell was created. It's a disposable can where things that God does not take goes to, that's what Hell is. Be holy for I am Holy is an instruction.
That 1 Peter 1:16. It's an instruction Holiness matters guys. While I'm in this neighborhood, let's really talk about this because we have the generation where holiness is kind of like maybe, Maybe I can be holy.
Or it's a one day holiness thing. Holiness is not going to church Holiness is not prayer Holiness is not worshipping God Holiness is not reading scripture. That's not holiness. Jesus was tested on all points, and he was found to be with no what, no sin.
Holiness, the quickest way to holiness is through temptation. When you get tempted by something whatever it is and you resist it. In that moment, you become Holy. The greater the temptation, the greater the resistance. The greater you live for all holiness.
No temptation, no holiness. That's what holiness is. Holiness is not going to church, can you resist the devil then you become holy. That's where scripture says Jesus was tested, tested on all points. That's why Jesus was wholly he wasn't wholly because he was the son of man, the son of God.
He was holy because he was tested in every way possible and he resisted. Here's another one, God is love. The greatest demonstration of God's love is his election it was unilateral love, unconditional. It is no way depended upon something else or somebody doing something.
He is love the definition of love is him. In other words, God is not capable of hating, everything he does, he does out of love. Even when you think is being harsh with you, it's love. 1 John 4:19 will love him because he first loved us.
Romans 5:18 but God comes his love towards us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. The Deuteronomy 7:7-8, The Lord did not set His love upon you, He will choose you because you were more in number than any people for you were fewest of all people, but because the Lord loved you.
Then He sent his son to go and die a gruesome death. God is immutable. Jesus Christ stated in verse 8. Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today and forever. God's existence is not governed by time. That's why when you are in the spirit, there is timelessness.
This is why sometimes when you at your house and you're worshipping God and you, you are in the word, and somewhere you look and determine of me what happened.
I thought I had 30 minutes. It's two hours later. Because once you enter the spiritual realm everything else stops. You are transported to a whole different dimension all together.
Let's look at Moses God says to Moses, come up Mount Sinai so that I have conversation with you.
So when Moses goes up Mount Sinai the scripture says he saw a burning Bush while he's out there, he is transported to a whole different dimension altogether, where God reveals him what happened from Genesis all the way to Deuteronomy.
How the world was created. It was Moses who wrote that they could not find the body of Moses. But while he's up there, right, people who are down on the mountain on the bottom, there they were experiencing hours, days, minutes That's why when he came out like, wait a minute. That's why most of the times when He goes up there like yo, yes, go.
And Moses just comes back with 10 commandments. Like, hey, for six months this is you came back for six months with 10. Because time does not exist in God, God is not Subject to any development, he is not developing He has never known more or less. He neither learns nor forgets.
When God forgives your sin is deliberate, he tells himself. I don't want you to remember that anymore. He is not affected by external circumstances or himself. In other words, your tears do not move God your faith does.
Your faith does the currency of communication with him, can you believe God is not looking for you and I to understand him, we have $0.05.
We don't even know what we're eating for lunch tomorrow. But what He is looking for people who can ultimately believe what we're talking about here without any reservation. That's the currency.
God is good, Matthew 5:43-45. God is truth, Titus 1:2, 2 Corinthians 1:20. Mistakes with God are impossible, He's a God of forgiveness. Psalms 5:1-2 He is God of Justice, Exodus 34:7. He is a covenant keeping God because he cannot lie. So what he says it is and I ain't changing it that Genesis 9: 9-15.
Exodus 19:5-6, Isaiah 44, No, this one He is a redeeming God. Isaiah 44:6 He is faithful God. Psalms 36:5, Lamentations 3:22-23. All right the rest of it, I'm going to put them in notes at some point. You know I'm slow when it comes to that. And you you're going to get these at some point, but you will.
Brothers and sisters the scripture says we just read it. What is revealed to you is for you. It's yours now forevermore.
Once revealed to me is for me that's why he says on the revelation that I am Christ I will build my church. That's why when you see a church not being built is because it's congregants are not looking for their own personal revelation.
You just have the pastor giving revelation nobody else is going to the throne room and trying to get their own revelation. Because it's easy to communicate to a person who has revelation of the same thing that we are all talking about. Because like, yeah, I saw that in a vision too which becomes confirmation.
This is Matthew 16:16, is the foundation of church. That's why Jesus told the disciples, after Peter says thou art the Christ. That's why, he says, do not tell anybody. Not because he was afraid of people to know who that he was, Christ.
But he was saying if you do that you then deny people the opportunity to go and find out for themselves also so that this same revelation you got today, they also can get it.
Now when they can get it, when I can get it, when Kim and Juan gets it, when Veronica, get it, hen Dorothy gets it, when Kendra gets it. Now where three or more of you are gathered in my revelation whatever you can ask then I answer.
We say this scripture like, yeah, random people can literally just come together and agree, and then God will answer. It does not work that way. Because how can it change be built if people do not have a revelation of who Christ is.
How? Our job, my job as a pastor is to drive you. To inspire you to go to that place where you can hide yourself and get out of there with your own revelation, and you can surely say, Pastor Zee, I met the Lord yesterday and then I was like, I met the Lord yesterday too.
Why did he say, oh, this is what he said. And you're like, oh, my God, he spoke the same thing. And I'll tell you why this is powerful, guys.
God does not have plans for 8 billion people. He is 1 plan for Himself one hope. One Christ, one man, and what he is asking from every single one of us is to come and find his plan for you in what he is doing.
Now when you find your plan, the Bible tells us that the body is how many parts. I'll tell you why we all need our own revelation. The hand cannot say to thee here I have no need of it. Let me ask you a question.
The hand does what builds the ear hears and receives revelation, the nose, discernment. Now a person who is heavy on discernment do they need the revelation of the arm?
Do they need that or do they need their own revelation to discern for who God is in them. Then the person who is building needs the revelation of what of who God is in building so that now when we come together this is why anytime you see an argument in the body of Christ, it's always with people who do not have a revelation of who God is in them.
So we tend to argue otherwise if you build, if you bring LeBron James over here and you bring Tiger Woods over here. And they have a conversation about golf LeBron James cannot argue with Tiger Woods about golf because he doesn't have revelation of a golf.
Neither can Tiger, argue with LeBron about basketball because he doesn't have a revelation about basketball.
But they can reveal to each other the workings of their domain and when they do so, it strengthens what not golf or basketball, it strengthens sports. So, your ear revelation, you get better at that give you go give you revelation. If you have discernment spirit, go get your revelation go get it. If you if have insight, go get it.
I want somebody here to come and say at the end of the apostasy, let me tell you what the Lord showed me and somebody says, let me tell you what the Lord said to me. And somebody said, let me tell you what the Lord, what I saw.
And you know what's going to happen, we all going to speak the same language because God would have refused the same thing, His automate plan through everything that we are doing.
Hence, it is important for every single person in your own right to become a giant. Can't remain a baby, you cannot remain a baby. Otherwise, you know what you are doing, you are depriving us that's why you've got toshow up, you are depriving all of us. So I want every single person listen, you cannot be the same person you were two years ago.
In Christ, how, get to scriptures. We're laying this foundation this is who God is. And this is not even all of it, because it's impossible for us to talk about who God is in an hour. For the rest of our lives, we'll be talking about this who God is because he's going to keep revealing himself.
So I want you in your own right in your own power to get your own revelation. Gets your own revelation. A Christian who does not have any revelation is a totally lazy Christian.
Because there's no way you can pray to God every day talk to him every day, read the scripture every day and he says nothing. And I always say to the to you guys too a believer who is no scripture, who is no Bible, Scriptures or a Bible.
Books that you gravitate towards. You are amazing. You know what, I love, reading Ephesians. I love reading songs and you have to love something and let me tell you something.
Actually, the books in the Bible that you gravitate towards actually reveals the nature and characteristics of who you are.
You cannot love Paul and not be a fighter it's impossible. If you see anybody who in church who likes to fight for truth, for justice, for the will of God, all in Paul. You cannot be a singer and not love the songs. How is that and if you sing and you don't love the songs.
So this week it's time to go. So this week such descriptions but who, who is God to you? This is who he is in his grant. But who is he to you? If somebody says, man, Ariel who is God to you?
Can you stand and say, you know, let me tell you who God is eloquently, without skipping a beat, without rehearsing anything because you know exactly what he said to you, because there's no way you can even encounter with God and forget what he said it's impossible.
So this week, get on it. Get on it on who God is dive deep into it, read your scriptures. Go into the Bible. I've given you good starting points. Find some things, because whatever you find for yourself that's yours to keep.
I gave you my revelation you'll find yours and add to that in fact, when you add to that while I shared with you actually start developing a greater level of meaning for you.
And then, all right, it's time to go. I promise this year I'm going to try to be, now a few things guys that I'm doing this year. This whole entire is just go into the basics.
We're going to talk about salvation, baptism, all the basic fundamentals that people don't talk about anymore. The closer the closer we get to the return of Jesus, the closer we return to the foundations.
Just foundations, Amen. So that's number one. Number two, starting tomorrow, in fact, we started this week you know, just piloting something new.
I'm really, we are really intensifying the way we pray and I'm encouraging people to make sure that every day you get up devote yourself to the reading of Scripture and the reason I'm doing this, there's a few things that we take for granted and cross over.
The scripture says God gives us it says new messages, I give you one every morning, not in the afternoon, not in the evening.
Says every morning so if you don't claim your new message in the morning, like manna, they're gone for that day. Every day, give us today Our Daily Bread, every day has a revelation.
There is something God is saying and doing in the earth on every day. You need to know what that is. Every day's revelation, then every day His ideas.
Every day is ruled by ideas. Whoever has the idea, this is why you see when you start hearing something, you start hearing it over here, start hearing over there because God speaks once. Whoever has an ear, let him hear what the spirit is saying.
So we to go after it in the morning.
So 6:00 AM every day, Monday through Friday, morning devotion and prayer. Studying that and Veronica just put the stuff on here. 7 AM East central, 6:00 AM. Central. You're going to be praying and just looking for that day's revelation, gonna be praying, tabling some things.
I'm probably getting up earlier than that so that we can just get in the habit of getting up in the morning. Jesus did it, you have to do it Paul did it, you have to do it. Peter did it. you have to do it, James did it, you have to do it all. All the prophets did it so, let's go after it.
Just get in the habit of Lord you are here, what are you saying. We are not going to follow a particular format but the habit we're trying to develop, and I'm hoping you again. It's just to hear the Lord. Not to come up with your ow, just can you hear the Lord. And say, yeah, that was the Lord.
Not like, I don't know, was it him? I don't know. I'm not sure you know, right. We want to know, yeah, that was the Lord. And while we are at it, I know Mary just let me, let me tell you. Let me just help you so that you understand getting into this.
This is how you know whether this is God or not. God speaks always speaks first, Satan always speaks second to contradict what God said. You speak last trying to figure whether that was God or Satan.
So if you really want to know whether this is the Lord God and waiting for Satan to speak, then he comes after behind him.
So the first thing that you usually hear, that's the Lord, the second voice, Satan, the third one's yours. Remember that. Yes, Mary ok, when we dial this number, is there another number we have to dial in or how does this work?
Just the other number. That's it. When you dial it, you'll go into a a holding area until the host starts the meeting. Then you'll be put in right away.
And guys I don't mean, the reason I say that is because on my phone, when I call in to the breakthrough prayer I have to do the check and Heather will call me back because of my service provider so I was just wondering.
Yeah, I'll double check that. Yeah ok I'll double check that. But listen, just come ready to pray more than listening. Just come ready to pray at some point when we talk about time.
You know, I learned something this week when I was typing this. Why it's actually a sin to waste time. Literally, it is a sin to waste time so we're going to talk about that at some point.
But everybody, I think we have everybody's email and by the way, I'm going to send you a little thing. If you know people who need this we just want to hang out on Sunday and lay a foundation for the week invite them and let's find God together, Amen.
It's incredible seeing cool faces. Eric, how's your brother doing? He is stable the pulse remember we said he had the surgery done and then repair the blood vessel in his legs. So the pulse from that blood vessels are stronger.
So they're keeping him sedated. He'll go back, he goes back into surgery on Tuesday to work on his right leg but so far, the surgery. The left leg has taken and his blood pressure is good, kidney function is good all his major organ systems are stable so, thank you to God.
This is this is one of my good friend, Doctor Eric Fleming. She's in North Carolina. We went to Kenya together. Erika's brother was in a horrible car accident, this weekend he had to be airlifted from the islands to Trinidad and Tobago.
And he's in the middle of it so whenever you get a moment, if you remember Doctor Erica Fleming and his brother is Brad, if you remember, Brad, just say a prayer for him.
We have Nadia, Nadia raise your hand. You know one of the things I love is to do guys. We you know, when you are in any place with a group of people, you always have to understand that it's God's gift to you. You know, you chose to be on the Bible study, but you didn't choose the people that came on the Bible study.
Because God is this way of just saying hey, there are some people I need you to meet. And every time a new person is added to your life, it's always an opportunity to learn something new. And to pray for somebody. My prayer is that we recognize or ask ourselves instead of waiting for God's answer.
Rather, say you know I want to be somebody's answer to their prayer. That means when you become that God is trusting you. And it's one thing to trust God, but it's another thing for God to trust you it’s whole different story out together.
So if you are going through something do not isolate, just say it. Just say this anonymous just you know this is what I'm going through.
1Peter 5:3, says the devil is like a roaring lion. He goes back and forth looking, he says, be sober minded because the devil your adversary is like you're roaring lion. He goes back and forth looking at someone he can devour.
In order to really fully understand the scripture, you have to ask yourself what does your roaring lion looks like.
Enlightened us roaring and on the primary and is hunting. It always goes for animals that are isolated weak, sick injured or have separated themselves from the group are oblivious of their environment.
So if you live in isolation always remember you are on the list. If you are going through problems and you are in isolation, you are on the list of the menu.
Tell somebody, tell somebody you never know where your answer comes from. Right, so we're going to be upholding each other's and telling each other things and say this is what I'm going through.
So somebody can pray for you and remember you. And then another thing, if you if the Lord put someone in your head during the day or whatever don't brush it off pray.
Ok, if you can call them, just say I'm praying for you and then Veronica just posted an e-mail address over there guys and thank you for fellowshipping together.
I just want you all to know that this is an incredible foundation for something the Lord is showing me He is doing. So yes, from now you're like, yeah. I saw it, I was there. I am the foundation. I am the brick.
Anybody anything? Anybody any issues? Any notices? Scary, I just want to say that Bertha and I, well, every morning at 6:00, we all pray together with everybody. It's OK, mother Kerry as long as your praying system, thank you. As long as you are somewhere praying.
And it's good to know knowing because then it just good to it, it brings comfort to know that God is there's a remnant. And then Latoya good to see you, I need to talk to you, good to see you. Ronita, Love you much.
Uh-huh. Yeah. Don't call me out indirectly. I know what you meant when you said don't tell nobody, huh? You better get on out my business, Sir. I told you at the right time. Romina always liked to bully me because you know, Shadow Officer and Ronita, by the way, is the first person I ever met in Alabama.
Yes, and I couldn't hear a single word she was saying. I was like huh, pardon and neither could she hear me too. So, we were just, we started just sign language. I was just about to say, don't you get up with that accent and ever since then, it's always it's always been like this, you know.
You know my brother I did not know what you were saying, you know, I was confused. Don’t start April. I said you better get off of man. Yes, ma'am. Yes, ma'am.
All right, let us pray. Heavenly father, You are awesome. It's always a delight and a pleasure to talk about you, and I know you're gleaning from heaven with a smile on your face. That surely my children love me. Our desire and our efforts, even though sometimes we miss the mark and do things the wrong way.
But our hearts is to just love you and to know more of you, to enjoy the goodness that you have for us. We are aware that you are soon coming, but before you come, we want to be the church. That one day when Jesus returns, you presented it to the father is holy and acceptable.
I'm asking you to indulge us. Visit all of us in the morning, in the night time, any opportunity. Then we open our hearts towards you Lord visitors us.
There are things we need answers to. Prayers we need answers to and what I'm asking that, what has been received up there as a request. We know we've been sending requests after request for years, some are 5,10 years old, requests sitting in heaven.
I'm asking Lord if there is anything that we are doing that is causing those requests to not be answered. Show us so we can remove it off the way.
If it's demonic spirits that are withholding answers just like you sent Michael, to the rescue all of the messenger to Daniel. Send Michael to rescue angels to bring word of inspiration and encouragement.
To things that are being held in the pipeline. And pray for parents. That have children that are going through demonic attacks that we don't understand or don't know where they came from.
Some things are generation three or four or five generations behind this. I'm asking you now, Lord, by the power of the Holy Spirit to now come to our aid and remove some things off the way.
Pray for Ronita, you know, she's been in waiting. But God, you are never late You're always on time. You do everything well, right and on time.
Lord, we pray for Brad, You saved him from that horrible car crash. They lifted him while they induced coma and sent him to a whole different country for treatment.
That tells us that God, you still have a plan for this man. We pray Lord for an incredible phenomenal testimony to arise from Brads lips. He will walk again, he will speak again and return to good health.
You have the creative force to breathe on mad, to become living souls. Now we are asking you to breathe on flesh, to become living soul again. Lord, thank you for the seniors amongst us.
Give them peace, rest in their wise age, no broken bones, no nothing. God, I pray for good health, that they will not struggle in their later years of life, where all these years they have been serving you, worshipping you and the devil wants to come and mess with them in their old age.
Father, we put a God on their lives. Angels and assignment protecting mother Carrie, mother Bena.
Other, married and protected in their wise years pray Lord that may we include them in our prayers so that these generals, these women of God that have fought for this Kingdom for years, that they will experience their reward even while they are still here.
Bless them with good health, good eyesight. Great bonds in Jesus name pray Lord for those who have put their hands to the plough to help with any kind of work in ministry.
Lord, I pray that while we serve you. Please serve our families. Thank you for the young ones around us, Kendra, thank you for Arial who are starting this journey.
Your word says this Kingdom will pass from one generation to the next. Father, pray for their hands to be clean, for their spirit to be cleaned for their minds to be clean so they can receive this Kingdom.
So that years from now they can pass it to the next generation. Thank you for doing a new thing amongst us.
Bless Kim and Juan as they continue to fight and pray for their son. Pray Lord, that gives strength to Kim as a mother to draw the line in the sand that the devil will not come and interfere in what you're doing in this boys life.
Father set him apart. arrest his soul, arrest his soul, shut the voice of the enemy that comes to hinder any kind of progress that have been made, that God induces it induces it.
This boy will deeply harvest a spiritual harvest. That many would see, and attach themselves to so Father Pray now send the angels to Arizona, send angels to Arizona and rescue this boy from the jaws of death and I pray for his mind to be guarded.
Give him new wisdom, new wisdom to live different kind of life, and I thank you, Lord, that you're quick to answer our prayers.
And I pray, Lord, for what you are doing through us and with us in this year, pray for the blessing of the Lord to rest upon us, that who dare to believe you. In every certain way imaginable.
And I know for a fact that you will never let us, let us down, because that's not your name.
So Father I ask, now that is, we start this new week, be with us, give us revelation for every single day so that we can get everything that is there to get in that particular day and we ask all this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
